Spicy Tennessee Onions Belong on Burgers | BBQ Side Dishes

In today's episode of BBQ Side Dishes, this simple recipe for Tennessee Onion Casserole gets kicked up a few notches.
The classic recipe uses Vidalia onions only, usually paired with a savory blend of Italian spices and cheeses. Today we're switching it up with a mix of onions, shallots, and of course some heat.
This sweet onion casserole is the ultimate side dish for smoked chicken, pork chops, steaks, and so much more. Throwing these spicy Tennessee Onions on a burger blows my mind though, and might be on repeat at our house.
