I carried my bunny in a basket when I went out to see the beehive. The bees were buzzing and the bunny got scared and hopped out of the basket. Very exciting to have three years of filming and fun!! I took 3 projects to my last quilt retreat but only worked on one. But I did get it done!
Beehive and bunny. What a fun flosstube. Thank you.
Watching this view with a chest infection and crocheting. Love all your wips ladies
You ladies always bring a smile to my face with your videos and relationship. That quilt really says spring to me! Each month I do a 6 day rotation of 5 different projects, only starting a new one when I finish one. So in a week 1 project. It works well for me as I feel like I can make real progress in that time. The bunny carried a basket to the beehive. Thanks for taking the time to share your stitching with us!
Joyous cancer free news! 😊 congratulations
I take about 5 projects to a retreat and always bring a new one to start which helps me remember the fun time I had every time I pick it up later. I love a great basket to put my Easter eggs from the bunny in. Thanks for the flosstube, I always enjoy watching you two.
Thanks for the video visit. Great news Carol, on being released from the oncologist's care at the 5-year milestone...that's absolutely wonderful! Sounds like a fun time in Chicago and with the family visits. I usually take 5 projects to a retreat, for a stitching day or on vacation, as I never know what I may be motivated to stitch, and I'd hate to be without options!
Bunny, basket and beehive--oh my! I really enjoy watching your flosstube and seeing all of your cross stitch and quilting finishes.
💜☮️
The other way to avoid fraying is using pinking shears and cutting on all side of the cloth. Just enough off to get rid any possible fraying.
I found you two lovely ladies from Heidi @thepottymouthstitcher. I really enjoyed watching your video. I can't wait for the next one.
Bunny
thanks for coming over to watch!
Love your show cased quilt. Had to push pause and down load the pattern. Have not been to a retreat yet. However I do belong to a craft/sewing group that meets a couple of times a month. I normally bring 2 to 3 projects when I can’t decide what I’m in the mood to work on. Just finished a cross stitch, Easter by The Cricket Collection. Perfect for bunny season! 😀
Yay! My favorites! So good to see you two. Congratulations on your 5 year cancer free. Congrats on flosstube anniversary 🎉
Great report Carol! I am 24 years cancer free and enjoying life. I love seeing your quilts each week and all the stitching. I have never been to a retreat but would probably take 2-3 projects. I tend to work on only a couple of projects a week. Now I am enjoying spring stitching with a basket and bunny and finishing up New World Sampler.
( . ) ( . ) April 22 😉🩷
Celebrating your 5 years with ya!! 🩷
Good girl Missy!!! 😊😊😊
Hahahaha, took me a second!
Congratulations on your five year cancer free check-up!
Congrats on 5 years cancer free!🎉 Happy 3 years on floss tube.
I work on 2 projects per week.
Beehive, bunny, basket
Carol and Jen! Greetings from Dallas! I usually take 2 projects to a retreat. Going to Stitch North at the end of April. Another fun video from you two! I have a bee in my beehive!! Thanks so much!
Hi ladies. Thank you for 3 years of fun videos 😊. Congratulations on Carol's all clear and 'almost' finish and Jen's FFO🎉. I understand that at a retreat there's often a free chart, so I'll take two wips from home and use the new one as my third. ⚘️
Spring brings joy with basket, bunny, and beehive. I hope to get to a retreat sometime! That would be a dream come true! Enjoy your stitchy time with friends!
Thanks for all the fun! Hallelujah that cancer is quiet. Thanks for the time you put into these wonderful flosstubes. Watching you makes me as happy as a bunny in a fresh garden.
Today I saw the Easter bunny hopping in my backyard hiding the Easter eggs he was carrying in his basket. I always bring waaaay to many projects on retreat. At a stitching retreat I may change projects each day.
Congratulations, Carol! Five years cancer-free 🎉🎉🎉
For retreats - I pack 7-10 projects. I work on only one and generally very few stitches🤣🤣🤣 At home, I am a fairly monogamous stitcher - unless I’m in the middle of a starts marathon😉 Thank you for sharing!💚
Carol, you did not take it easy on Jen making her start 324! 😂 I actually put a couple of squares in on mine while I watched. And I love the snowman standup!!
She doesn’t usually take it easy on me 😉
It is amazing that it has been three years since you started your flosstube. I was there at the beginning and have enjoyed every episode. Congratulations! Such wonderful news for Carol. So happy for you. In cross stitching I have about 8 different projects that I work on throughout the month based on a calendar I have set up. In quilting I usually just work on one project at a time, at the most two. This morning I had a bunny in my backyard. I live in the desert and there are quite a few cottontails.
Thanks so much Susan!
Thanks Jen and Carol for everything you all shared...congratulations on three years of your delightful podcast...I usually stitch on one project at a time...love bunny, basket and beehive...I live in Charlottesville Va...so glad you enjoyed yourself here...Carol...so happy so hear your health news...best wishes ❤❤
I enjoy your videos. I generally work on 2 different stitching projects at a time, however I usually have several quilting projects fighting for my attention. The basket was near the beehive.....buzz buzz!
Enjoyed the video! I found a Bunny & Beehive in my Easter Spring basket - I hope I remembered the right words…lol Happy stitching! 🪡🧵🪡
Thanks for sharing. Happy spring. Basket. Bunny. I'm pretty much monogamous. I'm working on G Leger 1898 right now. I have a few other things kitted up, but I'm just always drawn back to G Leger when I want to stitch. Can't seem to break the habit.
Bunny, basket. Love your calming videos ❤. Your quilt screams Spring-so beautiful!
So happy to hear your good news, Carol! I'm a 10 year survivor. Easter is my favorite holiday...I love it all...the basket, the eggs, the peeps and of course the bunny!
Thanks for sharing, Carol and Jennifer. Great video - as usual! I've only been to your retreats. Choosing which projects to take with me is hard. I usually take 5 or 6 projects. See you soon!❤
Watching on my new 4K (smart) Samsung tv. Love that quilt behind you, wow! PS: Costco had/has amazing Easter baskets! Just saying. ;)
Congratulations on both anniversaries! I’ve never been on a retreat and I’m mostly a monogamous stitcher, so usually one project at a time. You’ll LOVE 324! It’s very addictive and fun to see what colors you are missing. I’m 1/3 done with mine and so far only missing 2 colors! Have a fantastic retreat 🫎
I usually enjoy stitching houses. However, I'm working on "Winter Rose Manor." That house is a beast and taking forever to stitch! Quite boring actually but it will be beautiful when it's done.
Great flosstube. My Lizzie Kate charts came with a flower attached. Since you have hearts and flowers you could do both, they'll both look cute. Happy Easter!
Thank you for another inspiring video full of stitchy goodness! Sending you a basket full of happy blogiversary wishes! I am attending my first cross stitch retreat at Stitch North in a couple of weeks and I plan to take as many projects as I can fit in my carry bag. You just never know what you will feel like stitching, so hopefully 10 or 12 projects will fit. Of course I plan to buy new ones when I'm there too! 😉
Fun video, you both are so busy, I'm thinking I need to get out more! Congrats on your Flosstube Anniversary. We usually have a bunny or 2 running in the yard, and today 2 kept facing each other & then hopping over each other, especially fun since it's Easter Sunday. I bring 3 smalls on my trips, and usually blocks of color vs confetti. Pretty Quilt.
Wonderful flosstube! I always love when you pop up on my feed! Great finishes! You ladies always have a variety of projects. I don’t go on cross stitch retreats. I usually stitch on one project a week, sometimes two (I’m a monogamous stitcher.) I love going thru my basket to see what is coming up to stitch! Enjoy your retreat! Happy stitching!
My friend and I saw a bunny while we were walking today but he wasn't carrying a basket. We didn't see a beehive though. I always enjoy your Flosstubes. Happy Flossaversary! Packing projects for a retreat is serious business. I usually pack 4-5.
Congratulations on your flossaversary. Easter morning there was a bunny in the basket. I will be doing Stitch North in a few weeks and expect to take my BAP, my monochromatic piece and a few smaller designs so five. Have a fabulous retreat.
I'm mostly a monogamous stitcher, so I only bring one project to a retreat. That's fine for me, because I find I'm doing a lot more conversing than stitching when I'm there😊. I love the colors in the quilt you displayed today!! Jenn, I really like how your forest piece is turning out. Carol, so happy for you that your doctor gave you the all clear! Enjoy the retreat, your visit with your grandson/nephew, and the big eclipse!! Basket
So happy you had a good health report. Pretty quilt Jennifer. I’ve made two quilts with that same fabric. Yesterday I saw a bunny n my yard. I’ve never been on a stitching retreat, but I usually stitch on two-three different cross stitch during the week. I just got back from a quilt retreat and I took 5 projects with me. One of my projects was making 10 food safe snack bags for my daughter’s family. They are so easy to make and the kids love them.
Congratulations on your 5year cancer free news🎉. Great flosstube as usual. I can't wait to see retreat recap. My bunny was hopping with her basket and a beehive exploded with bees and she hopped quickly away. Happy flossaversary #3. 🎉 I've never been to a retreat so I think I would take a bunch of things to maybe work on. 😊
Always fun to see you ladies and all your projects! I have never been to a retreat, but I am usually a monogamous stitcher. Right now I have two WIPS though. It is not spring in our part of NE yet (8" of snow on April 1), but the Easter bunny brought his basket before the snow came luckily.
A basket with a bunny was placed by a beehive by my daughter. I wouldn’t go get it…. No stings needed here!
Love your springtime stitching .❤
Great video as always! Congratulations on being released from regular doctor’s visits! You two have very busy schedules.
Happy to hear about your positive drs appointment. My yearly diagnostic mammogram is scheduled for next month. Beautiful quilt. Love the bright colors. I try to keep my stitching down to 2 projects at a time. One is large and will take awhile to finish. Then I like to do a smaller one so I can accomplish a finsh and feel good.
Hello Ladies, It is always a joy to spend time with you, enjoy the eclipse, unfortunately we don’t see it here where I live, fantastic news Carol on being 5 years clear. BUNNY.
You two are delightful! Hopefully, the Easter bunny brought you nice things from his basket.
The bunny brought my 18 year old a basket this year. We used to do egg hunts in our backyard too but we haven't done it in 2 years since my oldest went off to college. I think that tradition is over at this house too. 😢 I've only been to 1 retreat and I think I brought 3 projects. I typically spend 2-5 days at a time on 1 project so I might stitch on anywhere from 2-4 projects a week. I really enjoy your videos!
Beautiful quilt and I enjoyed seeing all your Easter and spring finishes. I've been to 2 retreats and I usually take 3 or 4 projects to work on and touch at least 2. beehive
Congratulations on cancer free and your three year flossiversary!! 🎉🎉 I’ve never been on a retreat. I have a sewing room project and a living room project..so depends on where I am to watch tv or RUclips!
I love the Quilt of the Day, so beautiful!! Congratulations on 5 years of cancer free. Baskets are very useful. I'm going to my first retreat this month. I have no idea how many I'm going to bring, probably three projects.
Thank for another wonderful visit! So glad to hear good health news for Carol. I usually work on 3 projects over a weekend depending on my mood. I saw a bunny hop into a basket over by the beehive. Happy Spring!
Bunnies are the best Stitch. I usually work a couple projects during the week and I rotate them. They might be crossed they might be quilting or knitting.❤ Bunny
Congratulations on 5 years cancer free! I’m now 2 years! The bunny ran off with the basket of eggs. I typically take 3.
My cats have learned not to play with the beehive. Thanks for another fun episode (I’m a relatively new subscriber and really enjoy seeing y’all’s stitching).
The bunny found his basket next to the beehive. Uh oh! I usually stitch on 5-7 projects a week, usually working on 2 or 3 of them in a day.
Every time I go thrifting, I look for a nice wooden or wicker basket. I usually work monogamously on a project until I'm tired of it. I've been to one retreat and I took as many projects that would fit in my bag, which was probably around 10.
The bunny carries a basket full of eggs but if he isn’t careful he’ll trip into the beehive as he hurries along! Lovett quilt and previous finishes are so fun to see! Normally weekly I work on up to 5 projects and work on all of them a little. I try to work on my Mira’s on Mondays but some Mondays I’m just tired after work and that throws my schedule off! Love it all ladies have fun at your retreat!❤❤
Happy Easter Monday Girls, loved watching, I am at home on my own and it is fabulous, I’m enjoying catching up on flosstube and stitching , just me and Milo my golden lab, thankfully he hasn’t encountered any geese on our walks, not sure how he would react as he want to play with everyone and everything, he thinks he is still a pup, he is not allowed chocolate but I got a lovely chocolate bunny from my wife, which I am having no trouble with devouring right now.
Another great video, love how joyful you always are and the tallies from the question, always good for a laugh. Loved the colors in the quilt today, very spring like. Have a great time at your retreat. Bunny? Bunny? Is that the Easter Bunny? Congratulations on your flosstube anniversary, I hope we get to enjoy you for many years to come. Take care
Hi! I love your videos.
I have a 3 year old granddaughter who’s nickname is Bee! And believe me it’s like being in a beehive whenever she’s around. So busy!!!
I’m usually a one project woman. I might do two in a week that are actual whips obviously I’ll do two different projects if I finish one but looking back over my book a days do usually one project a week. I have at least 14 whips because I do whip go, so I guess you could say I have a two week rotation, whatever numbers that whip go calls
Congratulations on your good news at the Dr!! Basket. Bunny. Beehive. I work on a different project each day. I’m in the monthly magazine challenge and wipgo and a couple of sals so I put them all in a spin wheel and let it pick for me.
Congratulations on your three year flossaversery. The Easter bunny brought me a basket full of yummy marshmellow eggs. I am attending my first retreat here in Albuquerque and will probably take five projects. I'm so looking forward to attening the retreat!
Congrats on 3 years.
I typically take way too many projects but typically work on 2 projects in the morning and 3 or 4 in the afternoon/evening… obviously I have a short attention span.
My bunny has a spring in his bum.😂
I very much enjoyed seeing your wips and all the other projects that you've been working on. Your quilts are so pretty. I hope you both had a great Easter with your families and that you were treated to at least one chocolate bunny. I usually work on about two projects per week however if I'm travelling or going to visit my kids across town, I usually take three projects. Thank you so much for another great video. Happy Spring! Congratulations on reaching your wonderful milestone of three years on flosstube - that's fantastic!
Yes the eclipse! I am south of you guys, still in Indiana, not to far from Seymour. We are staying home, but still excited! I did see I wire covered tree. It was white, I think it was on the smaller side it may have been at either Hobby lobby or Michaels. I made a table running with disappearing 4 patch after seeing you quilt!
Hi Carol and Jennifer, great video. 👏👏👏 Both of you were so busy including crocheting, and you still got a lot accomplished. I don't go to retreats, but I usually stitch on one project at a time until finished. Hope you made it through the last 2 rounds of weather unscathed. Happy Stitching. ❤❤❤
That pattern for the basket is beautiful. New subbie….joining the beehive! I take wayyyyyyyy to many projects on a retreat. I have only been on quilting retreats. One really doesn’t get much done because you are meeting new friends or rekindling old friendships.
I haven’t gone to any in person retreats but have done several on line retreats. I’m pretty much a monogamous stitcher. I like to have things finished, although my to FFO pile is quite high. 🤭 The Easter bunny brought lots of goodies in my basket. Thanks for another fun video. ❤
My bunny was in the garden and ran smack dab into a beehive. She didn’t get stung because the bees are her friends. What a pretty quilt you made! I just love the variety of your stitching and your family updates. Happy April!
Bunny! I really enjoy watching you all. It’s fun to know you lived in Texas for a while. I’m a transplant and now live in Texas, too. Glad to hear you are cancer free!
Wonderful news Carol on the big 5 year milestone being cancer free! 🎉. Always enjoy seeing and hearing about everything you both have been up to or working on. I have only gone to quilt retreats and I have taken at least 6 projects. If I would go to a cross stitch retreat it would probably be at least 6 also! You need to have variety right? It’s like packing for vacation and taking too many clothes 😂
I have always been a one stitch project girl, but I am doing two now as I started the Fox and Rabbit free mystery SAL in January and am loving it! I must also say that I keep my projects in a basket!
I take two projects, But I only work on my main project. And the other is for in case I get the first one done. I made a quilt just like yours. But mine was different shades of browns and have leaves in some of them. It is a very fall quilt. The bunny hopped in to the basket.
Baskets full of spring greetings to you both! Love the quilt behind you. I take three projects with me to retreats. I too, love a retreat finish. Eggscellent news Carol about five years free!
So happy to hear you got a great medical report, Carol! Congratulations on being released from oncology care. I'm just some bunny that enjoys your videos and seeing all of your beautiful work!
Thanks for another video! The bee hive was buzzing with anticipation for great spring flowers. ❤
Congratulations on the 3 year anniversary! I started my Stitching Jennie flosstube about the same time as you started yours. You have been much more consistent than I have. I enjoy your episodes and look forward to them.
I went on my first retreat in October. I brought a project to start each day and then probably two or three others. So probably 5-6. It was good to have a few different pieces. One I struggled to see the holes in the light of the room, so I switched part way through to an easier piece. It was also nice to have pieces with big chunks of color.
Always enjoy your flosstubes...you keep it real and have motivated me to do several fogs this past year. When I was young I would always eat the chocolate bunny ears first from my Easter basket. Have a successful and fun retreat. In response to the question, I have never had the opportunity to attend a retreat but in the past I have taken 2-3 smaller projects when I have travelled for business.
Congratulations on your flosstube anniversary and on 5 years cancer free 👏👏👏 I generally work on 2 or 3 projects a week but sometimes ADD kicks in and it is 7 or more 😂.
I hope Easter bunny was good to you. I normally take 3-4 projects to a retreat
Great newsm on your check up. Love seeing all your projects and hearing about your adventures. Hope that bunny doesn't drop his basket of eggs when he spots the beehive!
Congrats on the good mammogram report! I can’t believe you’ve been flosstubers for three years!! I’ve been to many quilt retreats and have learned I can’t take it all so I choose 2-3 realistic projects and a hand project in case my machine breaks or electricity is lost. Bunny
Love your French braid quilt. The range of colors in it are fabulous. I usually stitch on just one project on retreat, as I usually take one that's just being started - so plenty to stitch, or one project with lots of fill in. On early retreats, I took way to many projects, and it became a nuisance to keep track of them.
Bunny. Congratulations on 3 years. We usually have tons of bunnies every spring, but I think the hawks get the memo. I'm going to my first retreat in 2 weeks. I typically have 3 to 5 wips going. I'm planning to do a new start and bring 2 wips to retreat.
Sounds like you are both very, very busy! And still lots of fun stitching. The last solar eclipse that happened went over where I live in Portland OR so we had lots of the uproar too! I guess I will just have to hope for a bunny in a basket next to a beehive :)
Congrats on 3 years! I have only gone on 1 retreat and I brought 3 projects to work on and I worked on all three of them. During the week of stitching I am pretty much a monogamous stitcher and I don't have too many WIPS. I go through phases of doing a bunch of starts and then pick one at a time to work on and finish. I can't think of anything clever today so - beehive
I have never been to a retreat. I have 3 projects that I am focusing on, and I rotate my stitching among those pieces in a week. When I finish one of them, I rotate another WIP in. My most recent finish was a free mini bunny sampler from Pinkernpunkin quilting blog
Happy Anniversary! I usually stitch on one thing till it is completed. The bunny brought my basket with a beehive in it!
My basket was shaped like a beehive. What was the Easter bunny thinking about?? Most retreats I take more than I need to. Last week I took about 8 and worked on 2....I never know what I feel like stitching on 😂. I don't always get a lot of stitching done at retreats because I like to visit with people, and see what they are stitching. 😂
I enjoyed stitching with you both this morning. Wonderful news on your health report Carol. Easter is such a beautiful time of the year with the flowers bringing color and the bunny bringing joy to the little ones. Thank you for sharing all of your projects and finishes. Enjoy your retreat.
Enjoyed your newest video. Wonderful to hear about your five year cancer fee milestone. Basket and bunny.
Basket-bunny-I loved the video-never been on a retreat-when working from home usually just one
I normally take 3 projects with me.
The bunny brought the basket of berries to the bungalow for the big bash! 😊
Happy Flossaversary! I've never been on a cross sttch retreat but lately at home I am stitching on just one project because I am trying to finish it for a gift, basket, bunny, beehive
