So sorry that you were so very ill. Wishing you a complete recovery. Thank you for hosting ABCingo. It was my first time participating and I thoroughly enjoyed stitching along. I was able to keep up daily; it took me until the 20th to get my first bingo, then of course I had a bingo every day until the 25th! I was able to touch a lot of my WIPs and even stitched on new starts and had two finishes so I feel like I made good progress. Looking forward to stitching the October HAYRIDE; thanks for sharing your choices. Happy stitching and speedy recovery. 😊
So sorry your sick, I know Dena got very sick as well. I have the O Canada stitched already. Start with OCanada then switch. Happy Stitching Patty parade💗
❤ You can totally stitch that Canada piece with 2 strands since you usually stitch on 32ct. I think the 3 strand recommendation is just what some people recommend on 14ct. For the blends, just use one strand of each. 👍🏻

Hope your recovery continues and you are feeling better soon. At least the weather is cooler now, easier for some good comfort foods like soups to help the healing process! Your framed piece is lovely, black was a great choice, it makes the colors really pop. Your friend will love it! Also, I'm looking forward to seeing Autumn Montage return next month, that's my favorite! 😁☺ Parade and Market.

❤ On your cat project, what about putting black stitching like a border around and between them ? Maybe that will look like they're separated a little.
Rest well and be kind to yourself dear friend. Speedy Recovery. The parade went right past the market before Thanksgiving. I Love hearing Jack’s opinion about things. I think he is saying “Mom I was worried about you, are you getting better?”
Hi Carolyn: I am glad you are on the mend. Hoping for a quick recovery. Love seeing your projects. I bought My Crazy Life Lori's planner this past year and I LOVED using it. I love the changes she made for this year and am equally excited to use it.
Nice stitching, some stitching is better than none stitching. Take it easy and rest when you need to. Lung issues take longer to heal from. The fur babies are being protective and good nurses.
I would start O Canada at Stitch Morth, that way you have your start, and them can focus on finishing the other project.

💖 I'm so sorry you have been so sick. Thank heaven the meds are kicking in and you are feeling better. Please remember that once you catch pneumonia, you are a wee more open to catching it again. Prayers you knock all these bugs out this week, and get back to 100%. We can't have you sick! Hugs

Sorry to hear that you have been so sick, wishing you a speedy recovery 💖. Your health insurance company doesn't sound the best, we are lucky that we have the NHS although waiting lists are getting longer. Emergency medication etc. is brilliant!I know what you mean about being sick when you live on your own. The quilt is stunning, you lucky lady.
❤️❤️❤️ so sorry you were not well. I had pneumonia about 10 years ago and was hospitalized for 5 days! I’m pretty bad about going to the doctor so by the time I went I was really quite sick. You will feel tired for a while so listen to your body. Thanks for sharing all your WIPs. You got loads done so well done. I would work half my time on G Leger to finish the D then move to Twisted band Sampler for the remainder. I am doing the TBS but am struggling with the first specialty row - I can’t work out where to start! I will take some time and try and work it out. Thank you again and take care. Happy stitching ❤

Being sick really puts a damper on things. Hope you start feeling better. It's a tradition to watch the Thanksgiving day parade every year. I'll have to add that to my wishlist. The new planner is amazing. I'd market it as a Stitchers Bible, because it's a must have. If I hadn't already set up my 2025 planner, I would get it. So glad I could help with you choices this month. I know I came up with the windows being illuminated, but I just keep seeing Minions. IL-LOOM-INATION.😅 I say start with a start at Stitch North. I have all my projects picked for October. I might add 4 more. I have 9 and 13 seems more appropriate, but we'll see. I'm excited for October to begin.❤

Glad to see you feeling better. Keep resting when you can, it takes time to fully recover. The gift you finished for your boss is beautiful. I also loved seeing the baby sampler you are doing and glad you will be working on that again. FYI, I found a full kit of that on eBay and plan to start it before My Year of Florals (2024) is over. My version will have a favorite quote in the center space. That quilt you won at Stitching in the wild is fabulous. So many good things. Thanks for sharing. ❤

Thank you for sharing the parade chart. I would love to make it for my sister-in-law. Every Thanksgiving when my kids were little, they would go to her house to watch the parade, allowing me to focus on meal prep.

I am so sorry you were sick. I was very sick last week , too. There is nothing worse than being so sick and having to go in to see a doctor. Its so hard and exhausting. I am glad you are starting to feel better. I learned the cat phrase as " All day long you'll have good luck." Love, love, love your quilt . ❤❤❤ If you did the same border all the way around, maybe it would look more intentional. Your friend is going to love the framed piece you stitched for her. I was so sorry to hear that You were so very ill. It seems to me that RSV is on the rise in those of us who are older, it used to be primarily an issue for little ones, but it seems to have become a serious issue for those of us who are 50+ years of age. I hope that You are fully recovered sooner rather than later.
That planner was an absolute thing of beauty. Obviously Ms. Lori's brain works like a well ordered parade. I wonder when the full blown Retreat Planner will be available, as that is something that I have been in the market for.
Your October plans sound wonderful. You are so ambitious and You really are very encouraging to those of us who aren't nearly as brave as You are. I don't know where You find all the time/energy to do everything that You do. I'm just not as organized as You are. But You constantly are an encouragement to become more organized.

So glad that you are feeling better, and I hope you continue to improve throughout the coming week. Thank you for mentioning what has happened in the South due to Hurricane Helene. I live in North Carolina, and we have had several mountain communities that have been severely impacted by flood waters, and one that has been swept away entirely. How about starting O Canada on the plane, once you are in Canadian airspace, so technically you have started it IN Canada, and you will get a good start on it and can then work on it on one of your days there. Thanks for sharing with us today even though you feel so funky! ❣

Thanksgiving day parade is one of my favorite holiday things, 😀. I go to the market the day before to buy apples so I can make my own pie. I am glad that you are feeling better but you will need to take care of yourself and give yourself a little TLC for a while after you feel better so you don’t have a relapse. I don’t know about other years because I wasn’t following you before this year but this isn’t the first lung problem you have had so you should be careful. (Retired nurse here). I loved seeing your stitching today even though you say it isn’t much. Please take care of yourself. ❤ Start O Canada first, then move on to the other project is my vote. You want to start O Canada in Canada, so make sure it gets started. 😃
If a person is older or with a chronic illness, they could get vaccine for rsv. It can be fatal for some people, one being my husband. - Glad meds helped you. Take your time if possible getting back into the swing of things. Great quilt!
