  • Here's a brief tutorial of how to build a custom handplane for under $15. Handplanes are a ton of fun since they give you more stability and also help to increase your control when making cuts in the wave!

    hey man looks great! just about finished making my own and was wondering how the screws have held up so far? cause its meant to be a gift and i dont want them to pop out or anything

      everything has held up quite well! if you're afraid the screws won't hold, try to find thicker ones. for me they're still anchored in quite tightly! I definitely recommend using synthetic leather over real leather for the strap because real leather shrinks, which could pose a problem! best of luck with your build :)

      thanks a ton dude! I used poplar that I picked up from a home depot since its super cheap
