  • With the Silver Sky, PRS found great success in revisiting a classic recipe. Can they do it again? Learn more and buy your own NF 53 or Myles Kennedy Signature here: bit.ly/3Nld8NL
    *Correction: At around 1:35, we say the guitars share the same exact body shape. However, the NF 53's body has a slight offset, compared to the more standard shape of the Myles Kennedy Signature.

    These look almost, but not quite, entirely unlike a telecaster.😂
    I’ll stick with my ASAT Classic, but I do like the different layouts, the NF-53 with the switch next to the tone knob reminds me of a Nighthawk, while the MK with the switch in the middle reminds me of an Ibanez (no idea what the jumbled alpha-numeric name was) I tried out in my local shop 25 years ago.

    Bought the MK in sunburst last week after extensive testing in the store and can't put it down. Absolutely amazing instrument, better than my Fender Teles, which include two Custom Shop models that did cost almost twice as much as the MK here in Europe. People not understanding the price point do make a mistake here - you can't compare this to an American Pro II or Ultra from Fender at all. It compares to a Nik Huber Twangmeister or Shabat Lion in quality, and these are a lot more expensive. I do agree with those wanting more exciting finishes though... some cool metallic colors would certainly help to make them look less boring...

  • @AforAleph

      because they're made infinitely better than fenders

    • @Spidouz
      @Spidouz Год назад +7

      Oh, because it’s the first manufacturer to make a guitar that looks like a Les Paul, or a like a Strat, or like now a Tele… nobody ever done that before, right…. Right?! The reason they do that kind of guitars is because people (like me) love PRS so much that after buying their usual guitars such Custom 22, Custom 24, then we want more of PRS, we would like to be able to buy any kind of shape and style with this constant higher quality… so now we can get a PRS Hollowbody II (335), a PRS Singlecut 594 (Les Paul), or a PRS Silver Sky (Strat) and finally a PRS NF53 (Tele). And of course, the main demand came from their Artist such John Mayer (for the Silver Sky), and now Miles Kennedy (for this N53)… You would understand if you would own a PRS, their higher quality is addictive. You’re just hating them because you surely never own them, otherwise you would understand and you wouldn’t post such idiotic comment… enough said!

The maple fretboards look like what you find on young kids micro electric guitar starter kits for less $90 dollars!!! @ 3:17 you can see the difference in the body shapes, cutaway shapes, very slight upper bout shapes! The cutaway MK joins at the 19th fret, NF 53 at the 21st fret.
