Just a random idea that turned into an interesting take on this episode if the Borg Queen had been right (For all the Star Trek nerds out there like me).

Dammit, way to turn voyager into a never ending quest to find a safe haven!...who knows, maybe they will run into scruffy bearded riker. But seriously, nice work. It made me think for a bit on a new series 'voyager:home and back again, a starfleet crews tale'

i dont think that sphere could assimilate earth. theyre just too far from earth for transporation and im sure 20 starships some state of the art could do what 1 voyager did. a borg vessal is manned by 10k borg drones
@@outviteslb8143 Their strategy wouldn't be to attack the 20 star ships, they'd abandon ship (they've been known to do this to reach goals, like when species 8472 attacked and they jumped to Voyager or when they send scouts) and transport evenly onto the federation fleet. I'd argue that fighting Borg ground forces is much more difficult. Just imagine 500 drones on each ship. Enterprise has around 1k crew including civilians. The Borg could easily assimilate some of that - and once the rest of the fleet comes to investigate, they just rinse and repeat it? It's just a matter of weakening one ship and swarming it, if they couldn't pass their shields.
