Funny thing about Captain Mutiny that the first time he was shown was in a flashback of how the Magna Defender lost his homeworld and his son, it showed that Captain Mutiny was part of Scorpius's army. This doesn't seem to make sense since he is supposed to be from the Lost Galaxy. However this flashback makes more sense in the Super Sentai version as his counterpart in the show is the main bad guy. Another thing that bothers me about Captain Mutiny is when Deviot joins him and Captain Mutiny seem to be aware of Scorpius's daughter Trakeena and was worried that she would destroy him which is what happens as shown in this video. So maybe he did meet Scorpius somehow and joined him. This was most likely them trying to cover up a mistake in crappy way.
