Welcome to the Foxy Love Club how Foxy Love are ya? *note* game is created by Zed who you all probably know quite well by now Playlist of their other games here: tinyurl.com/2p8ucfnx
I caught that too lol. Zed’s games all take place in the same universe, so it makes sense that its residents would live in constant fear of some cosmic horror shit happening when they just want to go to the grocery store.
I love this universe. The dialogue is well written and the characters are so likable. Its just people going about their day and being like ‘Ugh. Its the Horrors again. I guess I have to deal with it this time.’
"I think the mall is safe this week..." In any other game, this might be a line passed up as an error in writing or something, but knowing this world and just how many supernatural dangers there are...
Exactly, like one day one guy wakes up and casually decide to do a ritual and summon a demon against a hospital for a night, so yes. These kinds of things are very common in this universe and I love it
I really love the "normal people having to deal with not so normal things" because its just something their town has and when something happens everyone is just like "ugh not again" lmao
That's kinda the point. Corporate had every opportunity not to build a cursed mascot, they had every _warning_ not to build a cursed mascot, and of course they built a cursed mascot. And the little guy, or more literally large girl, always has to deal with the outcome.
My opinion is that Ashley's route over Penny's route is much more realistic and canon. Based on their bios, Ashley is probably more useful when dealing with the kid while Penny was useful in dealing with a Karen, hence the "Is the Manager" in her bio. Besides, Ashley has a screaming match over Betty Anne for like five minutes, while Penny managed to deal with the situation professionally. Kinda shows their character a lot.
The dev is way too good at making smashable characters with epic personality lmao. Normally in games where it's just ehem...female design that is highlighted for the character that becomes the whole characters personality
@emperorwisel4842 this is so real bc i think we all know that devs need a release and something "nice" to look at while they labour through their work. programming with one hand must be difficult after all
I know what you mean when you say "that's a straight up dog", but it's funny to imagine your concept of dogs is that they're bipedal and quite well endowed.
zed tech: [makes game with Warrington in the name] me, living near Warrington: [...looks out my window wondering if they're just. out there. close to my house. and ill never know.]
fun fact! The broken ice creme machine is mostly a common issue with American fast food chains since many companies have exclusively repair clauses with one company across the whole USA. Franchise owners that try to repair or service the machines on their own are subject to possible fines due to "voiding the equipment" even if the fix is to just shut the thing down due to a overheating compressor.
@@SolinaruI worked fast food for 10 years this is not true at all. It's broke because we don't want to clean it again or we are out of product. Easier to say its broken when you go a full 14 day with no ice cream mix
@@Grinningfartking6969Nope! This is a franchise exclusive thing. For example the most infamous one is McDonalds, 100$ an hour for a technition to hit a few buttons. All routes in the repair manual lead to calling them. Trying to fix it yourself voids the warrenty. Taylor and McDonald's have been running that sceme for almost since they opened. Meanwhile other places like bk and wendys get the actually good machines that won't stop working if the ice cream is 1 degree off (the machine won't even say its that either)
As much as I love all of Zed Technician’s games, but this is by far one of the scariest ones aesthetic wise. The claustrophobic feeling of the tunnels and the darkness of the restaurant make this game feel so much more eerie than previous ones.
It reminds me of scp-087. gave me the same creeps and terror of the idea that you were being followed by a threat and you had no way to go but forward. The timer added even more fear than 87 in my opinion, though.
Somewhat light on story compared to their norm, but you still got the core theme of the working class dealing with horrors thanks to the elite. A wooden pirate haunting a play maze is creative if nothing else, and I appreciate that the two options do impact the gameplay, even if the dog is just objectively better.
@@gotgunpowderthe workers of the store not only have to deal with corporate sending in weird cursed pirates, but a play place suddenly appears as well to 'eat' people. The tools that the workers are using to get though the maze to save people was provided by a whistle blower who knew what was happening but corpo is just horny for money.
@@gotgunpowder in zed's games you've got this narrative in the backround; ordinary ppl get thrown into the horrors and caos and have to deal with them themselves because the upper classes makes them work anyways (the warning watch) or because they fully on caused it (the vermander curse, this game)
Yep. Zed's games heavily feature the underdog, in this case more literally than most. And they're always practical, plucky and very Done With This Nonsense. I like that.
my fave thing when manly plays zed’s games is when he always has to adjust the camera to see things that are lower because those ladies are so naturally gifted 😭
Zed Technician knows how to make a good game. Even the tutorial for keys (CTRL) is expertly done. It seems like a simple thing (just putting the key you need to press naturally in the environment), but so many big name, highly produced games from big name companies pause the whole game, darken the screen, and put a sparkly circle around the thing you need to press, as well as giving you a long sentence about it instead. Realizing the player has probably played games before and only needs minimal help is just a simple thing that far too many games overlook. GOod on ya', Zed.
You're the one overlooking, overlooking the fact that for everyone they have a first game and may have no experience. And often there are hidden mechanics without a tutorial stopping and explaining you'd never understand. When designing something for everyone you need to be a lot more blunt. Big companies aim for everyone. When reasonable having a minimalistic tutorial can work, but you have to know your audience. This dev's audience is going to be people who know enough to learn these minimal setups. It also helps that this game is just move, interact, crouch.
@@Buglin_Burger7878Then maybe just have it be an option? Like it'll ask if your new to games, if yes then begin beginner's tutorial. If no then do normal minimalist game tutorial... something like that maybe?
Seriously! Most people overlook their games because the style of characters, and their proportions, when their games are genuinely fun to watch and play. The pacing is neat, all of them are in the same universe, there's recurring characters, and pretty creepy designs sometimes. Not to mention, everyone looks unique, and the games are pretty different, with no reused plot. Zed is amazing.
I actually kind of love the character designs, at first I was like wtf because I didn't expect that at all but they're super charming and unique. Also quite well written personality wise.
Man, I work in fast food. The most unrealistic thing about this game is that the two workers were actually willing to go in the infinite maze, because I know all of my coworkers would be like "I don't get paid enough for this crap." Everything else is absolutely something I could see happening at my job lol. Edit: Guys, I'm exaggerating. If someone actually was in danger we'd help them.
Well Penny is the manager. So she has more reason to work harder to not get fired. Maybe Ashley is senior staff or just good friends with Penny. Plus good people tend to want to save children from certain death.
I also worked in fast food, and the rare few times a child might have been in danger, even the lasziest and most "don't care" employees jumped up ready to help.
I used to work in a fast food joint. We were really busy so we'd be lucky if we had a chance to visit the toilet. Let along fetch a kid. I'm surprised they didn't have someone on staff just to do that alone.
Honestly, I'd pry volunteer for it. Yeah, I'm running/crawling for my life and some kids', but I wouldn't have to deal with customers. Plus I'd be paid for doing it
Right? I’d dive into a cursed ball put to get back my N64 my former brother-in-law pawned off without telling me. (About to dive into the scariest ball pit you’ve seen) “I’m coming Banjo-Tooie & Sarge’s Heroes!l

We let some dude borrow it and he never returned it” I feel your pain man
Given how all of Zed's games are apparently in the same world, I'd have to assume this is not the last we'll see of the Captain nor the last we'll hear of the Whistleblower. Even if there's no direct follow up to this game, they'll be back in another Zed game at some point.
I'm willing to bet we may even see the kid grown up and possibly working alongside Junior/his daughter in a future game, maybe one set in a local community college set during break or finals or maybe set in a gas station/food mart!
I love the Zed Tech games. To me, being from the Southern US myself, they have a Southern and working class feel that appeals to me. Despite the fantastical elements, the characters feel like people I’ve met. I think this game is a “part 1” situation Zed will pay off more in a future game
Yeah, the survival in the car, and the helping a witch ones really help that comparison with their environments. They feel like the backwoods of the South!
I wouldn't say that. Mascot horror is about slapping together a "horror" game with a marketable/popular antagonist. This is just a short horror game that happens to have a literal mascot for an antagonist.
Completely in line with actual fast food management practice for the Warrington company to be able to warp time and space to pierce through the 4th dimension into the Backrooms but not fix an ice cream machine
and you know, while I respect zeds got that specific style, I would like to see some more varied character designs when it comes to body type, especially femmes. I dont hate that calling card, I just want to see what other ideas zed has because they're clearly imaginative. in fairness, it's actually a lot more realistic than I think many give it credit for. I work with several women who basically look exactly like that. it's really a pretty common body type, at least here in the rust belt of America.
@@commandantcarpenter yeah I actually appreciate seeing that kind of body type actually be seen, because I know a lot of video game devs straight up won't have people like that.
Figuring out what the characters are a fun part of experiencing a Zed Technician game. Since they could be anything and also crossover. Really love that creativity. Love that you can see ashleys nose when you look down, i find it cute. The play maze looping into fake versions of the building reminds me of an SCP. I guess the business exec really wanted their money in spite of what their own ethics department. Why even have that lol. I thought it was interesting that it had puzzles that kids could solve, so in a way it was serving its purpose lol.
Okay I am kinda overanalyzing things, but. The captain winking at the camera was weirdly charming in a way that made me think about how often the “evil” supernatural entities in these game end up having some wholesomely silly endings. They’re spooky, sure, but none of them ever feel as horrifyingly evil as the true villains of these games: the companies and corporations who don’t care about the harm their actions cause, as long as they keep their wallets full. Man I love these games
in the hospital game, the demon was contractually bound by the Vermanders to do evil bidding, so I imagine that a lot of these supernatural horrors don't necessarily want to hurt anyone but it's out of their control
@@naryosh_ That’s a good point! Even in this one, they used that haunted wood, so it was really the company that tied this entity to this place, not the entity actively going out to hurt people
A new Zed game BOYS! I feel like we haven't gotten a game from them in a bit! But as always love seein their games and what new characters inhabit this world! And of course I love watchin Manly play em! Always a blast!
As a service worker, im 5 minutes in and to hear somone made a mistake on a order and got FOOD FLIPPED ON THEM, just to then read her say she put his house keys in the garbage disposal!!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ i needed that. Im in my villain era and i approve this life style.
Over like 20 years ago, My mom used to send me to a big child care center, that's got a huge play maze that literally had the tunnels going through all over the building, every ceilings and rooms (not the toilets of course). I got lost in there for like 10 minutes once, and I actually had to ask a kid I met in there where to go.😂
Just from the thumbnail and not even looking at the video title, even though it doesn't matter in this case, I could instantly tell this was a Zed_Technician game solely by the character model. Just goes to show how identifiable the guys work is.
We’re ready for Zeddy. Also I really like that the mazes just started appearing because of the pirate statues and corporate was oblivious to the red flags and just like “wow a built in bonus!” At least the pirate wants to make sure the kids know basic math and figures.
When i saw some new game from all-favorite author that creates well-endowed characters - i was overjoyed. And then i saw his characters blinking. Mind-blowing!
Who knows? Seeing how these games take place in the same universe, I wouldn't be surprised to see/hear more of the whistle-blower in a future game and the whole situation being resolved there.
@@miajajajajajajajajajo I could totally see a game playing with that. When you're way ahead and almost done, speed up the timer a bit to keep the pressure on.
In a world where fantasy is almost always Europe with elves and dwarves and urban fantasy is almost always Chicago with vampires and werewolves, a magical setting where animals are folk and all women have trouble getting through doors almost has to get points just for being a _unique vision._
Everytime I see maze tubes, I get flashbacks to when I worked at a Chic Fil A. Some kid threw in the top of the tubes, and decided to crawl all the way down to the bottom, throwing up the whole time, instead of taking the slide down. I was the "lucky" one who got to clean it up. Longest 45 mins of my life.
Alright so I assume the guide book author T.W. is short for The Whistleblower based on them leaving docs behind. I guess they are just waiting for someone who will find the docs to bring them forward to stop the burger company. I'm curious what would have happened in the supply closet though. I can only assume it's "making the lured target into supplies." Also, human & animal ears at the same time Zed? Cmon man, you gotta pick one or the other :V
We get a fears to fathom yesterday and now we get one of these games, idk what to call them but I love when you play these. I definetly think this one is better then the cooking one from last time.
@@GooFly-v3jDon't compare Zed's games to that cash-grabbing trash series - there's actual effort here, along with coherent stories, well-rounded characters, genuine humor, mechanics that don't make me want to scalp myself, and each of Zed's games is either free or $1.
I think its cool that the kid is part bat and seems to be the only one who can hear the pirate? At least the player doesn’t x) Not of fan of the family having human ears AND animal ears. Assuming they are a hybrid of course, the ears + fangs do seem to suggest something like vampire bat. of course, double the ears means double the hearing, right? x)
That's actually a pretty nice theory, and makes a lot of sense. Human + animal ears always bug me too, and I think he must STRUGGLE with how much he can hear.
The in game explanation is that it's influence is limited to children, elderly, and clergymen for some reason when its next to the maze. It doesn't really say how but that's why the player characters can't hear it.
@@underpaiddefenseattorney humans ears on anthro heads is common alongside the animals ears this is bc humans look weird in some hairstyles without human ears very prevalent in anime.
I’m still waiting for when he makes some more crossovers of his characters to appear in future games. Plus with this kinda anticlimactic ending with that whistleblower means this particular game can have sequel.
I love Zed Technician games, but this one is the scary to me. I HATE going through tunnels and not being able to see through, and I also hate mascots that move. I was constantly anxious! Such good environment!
I feel like there’s a bump in quality in the models this game. The style’s still the same we’ve come to expect from Zed_Technician, but the overall quality of the models looks even better to me. We love to see it. ❤
At least manly is one of the only RUclipsrs who is brave enough to not clickbait "THE MAN FROM THE WINDOW HAS RETURNED 😲😯😲😲😯😰😨😰😰😨😰🤯!!!!!" For every zed game. Like seriously, stop with the stupid clickbait, it's annoying.
Manly make puns out from the game itself for the title of the video and the actual title of the game... Other RUclipsrs on the other hand is pretty cringe and can't even play good, doesn't take all the endings and their commentary is annoying and cringe unlike manly voice which is soothing and humourous.

I unironically get excited every time Zed drops a new game, they’re so unique and equally as enjoyable.
All the games this guy makes are so wild and random 😭 How tf does he come up with these concepts???
Completely in line with actual fast food management practice for the Warrington company to be able to warp time and space to pierce through the 4th dimension into the Backrooms but not fix an ice cream machine
this is the most exhausting game ive ever seen in my life but i really like the dynamic between this person's ocs for some reason
holy moly!!
The developer(s) of these games definitely has a type.

Good grief, say what you will about Zed's proclivities, but the sonova can crack out some *seriously* good original models.
Some say Zed has proclivities. I say it’s all *culture* 👌🏽😩😤
Proclivities and sonova, what vocabulary!
But what's a sonova, all Google shows is a company and I don't have my dictionary on me

a corporation having a combined marketing and ethics division is a real good bit. zed loves those little details and does a great job with them.
and you know, while I respect zeds got that specific style, I would like to see some more varied character designs when it comes to body type, especially femmes.
Even in this one, they used that haunted wood, so it was really the company that tied this entity to this place, not the entity actively going out to hurt people
Fears to Phathom yesterday and now a Zed Technician game? Manly truly spoils us.

Over like 20 years ago, My mom used to send me to a big child care center, that's got a huge play maze that literally had the tunnels going through all over the building, every ceilings and rooms (not the toilets of course). I got lost in there for like 10 minutes once, and I actually had to ask a kid I met in there where to go.😂
Two questions:
1) where is this
2) is it still around because I want to go

Just from the thumbnail and not even looking at the video title, even though it doesn't matter in this case, I could instantly tell this was a Zed_Technician game solely by the character model. Just goes to show how identifiable the guys work is.
We’re ready for Zeddy.
Also I really like that the mazes just started appearing because of the pirate statues and corporate was oblivious to the red flags and just like “wow a built in bonus!”
At least the pirate wants to make sure the kids know basic math and figures.
He's not bad, just misunderstood! He just wants to help children with math.
I like Manly's little joke convos.
When i saw some new game from all-favorite author that creates well-endowed characters - i was overjoyed.
And then i saw his characters blinking. Mind-blowing!
Zed's world is so easy to get pulled into! I always feel like I know the characters personally. Comfy stuff!
Who knows? Seeing how these games take place in the same universe, I wouldn't be surprised to see/hear more of the whistle-blower in a future game and the whole situation being resolved there.
You had about 80 "Seconds" left with the 1st Lady/Dog.
And about 35 "Seconds" with the 2nd Lady/Whatever she is.
She is really just a human
Yeah, cuz they're not really seconds, it's way faster than actual seconds
@@miajajajajajajajajajo I could totally see a game playing with that. When you're way ahead and almost done, speed up the timer a bit to keep the pressure on.
Immediately knew this would be a Zed Technician game from the thumbnail and 3D model style :)
In a world where fantasy is almost always Europe with elves and dwarves and urban fantasy is almost always Chicago with vampires and werewolves, a magical setting where animals are folk and all women have trouble getting through doors almost has to get points just for being a _unique vision._
the best part is that they're all quite agile despite their phisique
Everytime I see maze tubes, I get flashbacks to when I worked at a Chic Fil A. Some kid threw in the top of the tubes, and decided to crawl all the way down to the bottom, throwing up the whole time, instead of taking the slide down. I was the "lucky" one who got to clean it up. Longest 45 mins of my life.
At least you don't have to clean up vomit while a haunted pirate statue tries to end your life. 😅

Awesome! This developer has really grown on me. Can not wait to see what's next. ^^
despite the lack of Twist endings, it was still an aMazing horror game. seriously though the pay better be amazing for what they have to go through.
Zed_Technician games feel so cozy, and they’re so weirdly effective at the horror elements. I love how you can choose the player character this time.
HELL YEAHHHHHH ANOTHER ZED TECH GAME
I love how I saw the thumbnail, and IMMEDIATELY knew who made the game. Always a delight to get another helping of Zedtech!
Alright so I assume the guide book author T.W. is short for The Whistleblower based on them leaving docs behind. I guess they are just waiting for someone who will find the docs to bring them forward to stop the burger company. I'm curious what would have happened in the supply closet though. I can only assume it's "making the lured target into supplies."
Also, human & animal ears at the same time Zed? Cmon man, you gotta pick one or the other :V
I think it's called the "cursed 4-eared combo".
I believe they have both in this case due to a hybrid situation like, parent wise.
Mutantions like that are common lol
to be fair as well, I could totally see how a human and bat-girl got together leading to a warebat mom
Love these Zed games. Can't quite put my finger on it, but my word are they well made and all around entertaining
I love how the moment I saw the thumbnail I KNEW it was a Zed Technician game.
Such a unique art style.

Man the protagonists in this universe are just NEVER paid high enough for the crap they deal with on a REGULAR basis.
a little hazard pay for dealing with monsters, ghosts, gods and supernatural mascots would be nice 😂
We get a fears to fathom yesterday and now we get one of these games, idk what to call them but I love when you play these. I definetly think this one is better then the cooking one from last time.
Honestly not a bad idea for a game. you really don't get many horror playground games but alot of them are creative.

I think its cool that the kid is part bat and seems to be the only one who can hear the pirate? At least the player doesn’t x)
Not of fan of the family having human ears AND animal ears.

Oh boy! More from this dev! I love how his games all connect each other in terms of the lore
I was hoping some of the old characters would show up again! It’s always fun to see how they’re doing.
Considering Ashley is a doberman, she had modifications done on her for fashion, huh. Poor tail, poor floppy ears.
I’m still waiting for when he makes some more crossovers of his characters to appear in future games. Plus with this kinda anticlimactic ending with that whistleblower means this particular game can have sequel.

The look on that pirate’s face can send any spine shivering!
I feel like there’s a bump in quality in the models this game. The style’s still the same we’ve come to expect from Zed_Technician, but the overall quality of the models looks even better to me. We love to see it. ❤

Manly make puns out from the game itself for the title of the video and the actual title of the game...
Other RUclipsrs on the other hand is pretty cringe and can't even play good, doesn't take all the endings and their commentary is annoying and cringe unlike manly voice which is soothing and humourous.
