Hi. Last fall I did some over seeding and applied RGS 0-0-1, Green Pop 16-21-2 and Mesotrione. They worked very well. Now that spring is almost here in Southwest Missouri, should I apply the same products again to start waking up my lawn?
I think that is great! If that worked well last year, give it another try. Don't fix what ain't broken. The only thing that I would say to look out for is putting down too much phosphorus. I'm sure it is fine unless you already have an abnormally high rate of that.
Great information, just subscribed! Any tips for onion grass? We didn't have any last year and sometime in the fall it started to pop up and has spread a lot already.
Thanks! In the past I've recommended 2,4D. That's a broadleaf weed killer. I used it on some onion grass that came up around my crepe myrtle. It took about a month for it to turn yellow but it looks like it did the job. I came across another product called Negate that I've never used before but it looks like it's a warm season grass only product. You could also get some round up and a sponge. Soak it in some water and put a little round up in the sponge and wipe the blades. Make sure you're fully PPE'ed up for that. Be really careful with that one 😅
@@mrBDeyegangster! While it's very unlikely that would ever happen, It's better to be safe than sorry. I like to have all my hands and fingers intact 😅

Good video. I trust you removed the spark plug lead before turning the blade. Cheers.
That's great advice! Jump starting the lawn mower on my hand just doesn't have the same ring to it 😬
Real men reach under the deck to unblock the grass shoot.
