It is time for an updated tutorial walking you through how to use your gaming desktop or laptop to mine cryptocurrency as it is more profitable now than ever before. I just bought an Alienware R12 today, before I watched your vids, currently in the build process, I was just looking at RUclips for info and found your video on cooling the PC.

Easy peasy, just make a replica on a piece of paper with tape to hold the screws so they don't mix. Not hard. Will save your card in the long run
@@cedrics.4439 Yeah I'll try it out. I'm going to see what the thermals are like and then I'll gauge it on that. I've heard some people getting great therms and some temps spiking to 96°... I'm trying to avoid opening that expensive ass GPU lol.

Thanks for your videos. I sit on a R10. I ran one night of mining which sat at around 106c. I just added a push/pull on my cpu radiator (It is much quieter now), and also added some thermal paste to my GPU. I currently sit at 94C on my Vram now. I must have messed something up with the cpu though as it seems to be a bit warmer now...
is your unit water cooled?

If you mine, pop of the side door and take a small fan and blow it directly on the GPU. You'll see the VRAM temp drop atleast 4-6 C

Hey Gamer Heaven, I recently started mining on my Aurora R12 3080 3 weeks ago. My hash rate wasn't going above 57 and my VRAM temp has been around 84. Now my VRAM temp is around 76 using 160W of power and my hash rate has dropped to 46. Is there any way to fix this? I've only been using the extreme hash through nicehash. Should I be worried about my 3080?

I have the exact same computer as you except it's the r12 with an RTX 3080 and I'm getting $56 a day at some points Canadian I'm averaging about $40 a day... Actually that is an RTX 3080 and a GTX 1070 FTW working together

im using a GTX 1660. I have it on high, yet in the Task Manager, it shows my GPU rarely ever going past 10% usage. Can it not do more work??
use msi afterburner and tweak your power settings and MHz and it should up your Hash rate, but you really need to monitor your temps. you wanna stay around 65*c.

Hi I’m a big fan and love your videos ! What temps do you get on the vram on high ? on medium I get between 104-106c with my gigabyte 3080 and I’m a little worried
Tweak the oc settings so you can run your fan more. I'm using a 2070 super when I put it on the high quickhash setting it puts my vram temp to 69c when I play with the oc settings in manual and run my fan at about 55% my vram goes down to 47c I'm aware the 30 cards have higher temps but with adjusting your fan you should get better results
Honestly I would look into changing your thermal paste. I'm on high with my Alienware 3080 90-100 mh/s. I never get above 90degrees. Kevin has some great videos on this on his channel.
How do you find out if the mining is stressing your gpu too much?
I input your information into the calculator and it came back $3.74/day. That's a big difference from $22, what am I missing?

I was worried about the VRAM temps but knowing that you are happy with 90-96 made me a little less scared about worrying about my 84-88 temps 😂 Very great vid and love your channel. From what I can tell, as a newbie... in May of 2021 you could easily make this much money, now its like $3.50-$7.25 USD a day. Hoping it goes back up.

Hey brotha I just got my r12 with a 3090. It's all stock cooling, I know the stock cooling isn't great with these. Is it safe to leave it mining long hours?
Monitor the Vram temperature not the core. Core should be fine but Vram should be less than 100c. Can't remember if Alienware software sees the Vram temp or not. Of not get a hardware monitoring software.

I have an R10 with 3080 inside and using the same stuff as you do, but I had an issue with my VRAM temp going ~108-110 C, and I was struggling to understand why..
I tried using the Alienware Command Centre software for overclocking, but for some reason, it is buggy, and the only thing that I am noticing is that I can change the fan speed, lol.
I tried using NiceHash optimizer, but still, no luck (as you've mentioned in another video, I tried just Alienware software by itself, then made everything there to default and tried just the optimizer using different presets), and the only thing that worked for me was adjusting the settings in the NiceHash QuickMiner OCTune itself, by lowering the power limit of the GPU to 180W. Only then I can see the VRAM temp about 94-96 C, which is OK.
And I installed a second intake fan right away, too, as per your suggestion, so thanks for that!
Obviously, my hash rate dropped from like 85 MH/s to 70MH/s, so IDK if I am missing smth or doing something wrong.
I would love to hear back some suggestions from you if you have some time, as I can't find anything else good on forums and stuff! Thanks in advance, bro!

@@sensitivemale My CPU is, but not a GPU. I was able to achieve 100-104 C VRAM temp by manually adjusting the power load for GPU at about 60%
The hash rate is about 70 MH/s which is not great but not bad as well, and at least my CPU not burning :D

Profit on a RTX 3080 is close to 5 USd now, yet people still pay the same amount of money for it. I started to use nicehash on my new 6600 XT 2 days ago, profit is 1.5 USD to 2 USD (as i use my PC is only 1.2 USD per day.
