I have a 3080 and have mined over $100 since I found you a few weeks ago. I haven't turned the heat on in my cave since I started, I'm gonna call it break even on power.
you can mine with cpu for only 25% or 50% of cpu power. you can set it to use threads to limit the usage. i did not know this from the start and i also believed that it will automatically use 100% but as i go deeper into mining i found the settings to make the cpu mining limited so i can still use my pc while mining. i believe you need to type in the launch parameter --cpu threads= 6 ( if for example i have ryzen 5 2600 , it have 12 threads so i use 6 meaning it only mining for the 50% of capabilities of your cpu. you can lower it or increase if you still feel like your pc is not lagging or causing any issues.
Are you still getting anywhere near $10 per day on yours? I've got a 3080 that I've been using the past few days and most of the time it's around the range of $7 but the temps are quite high. Switching to the "Medium Optimization" lowers it to around $5, temps are better though

Im getting better Hashrate on quickminer... Quickminer on 3090 121.xx MH 2080ti 60Mhs But on nicehash miner i get a lot less mhs, why? Why the lite version is better? I want to use the normal one for flexibility but then i loose Mhs

Im using the "Lite" setting and my GPU temp is good at 45 but my VRAM is at 96-102 ish and the fans are super super high and whinny lol. Can I just lower the fans so that this thing is quite like when I game in 4k on my UW? Thank you in advance

Dear new cards has Hashrate limit, just confirm that your card is limited or no, if no try to overclock it using afterburner software, give the correct settings.

What I did not like about quick miner, is that it automatically picks up mh, which is often lower than I get from regular miner. On regular miner i chose self which one is better profit but not possible on quick one!! or maybe i do something wrong?
Nicehash has an estimator on their website that shows you how much any particular card will make you a month in profit and your expected electricity costs.
hey everyone.. is there a setting which will make them SEND me an email when the hashrate falls below a certain number? makes it easier to be hands off... thanks!

And very low power comsuption (a pc with only 2080ti is 50w lower power comsuption than using aftterburner with lower tdp and core frequency, dropeed from 280w to 230w with SAME MH/S).
When I try to run NHQM, my screens freeze and I have to do a hard reboot. I'm running win10, EVGA 2080ti with the latest studio drivers. I have three screens hooked up all using the DPs at 1440p resolution (I doubt that means anything, but threw that out there). What could be causing the freezing? I downloaded the latest version of the quick miner.
i am mining through the nicehash quick miner by setup gtx 1660 ti but i can't optimize the performance from website or basically the option of optimization is not present. why..?
Enter the nicehash website and look up at your rig,set the optimisation to manual I think you set it on other mode and nicehash automatically change the oc settings
Hey man, i'm using a 3080 FE with quick miner on the medium setting, but both the fan speed is pinned at 100% at all times on all modes, and when it comes to power consumption it hangs around 200w at both the light and the medium settings. I get about 90mh on average. My vrm also runs quite hot (100c+) on all modes, is there something i should change? I can't seem to get the performance at least close to yours.
Nothing you can do. Nicehash is just using your card like a cheap s lut until it brakes down. You will not be able to use it after memory got hotter than 100C for some time. Consider your 1000$+ card dead now =D

you can control how much you use
Even with conservative setting that vram gets hot
Im getting better Hashrate on quickminer...
Quickminer on 3090 121.xx MH
2080ti 60Mhs
But on nicehash miner i get a lot less mhs, why? Why the lite version is better?
I want to use the normal one for flexibility but then i loose Mhs
So im new to this all and Im using quick miner. Im using my main gaming rig 9 5900x / 3090 FE. How the hell do I get my fans to go down from 100percent? I cannot figure this out! Im using the "Lite" setting and my GPU temp is good at 45 but my VRAM is at 96-102 ish and the fans are super super high and whinny lol. Can I just lower the fans so that this thing is quite like when I game in 4k on my UW? Thank you in advance
Download MSI afterburner
Can we mine Ethereum using Nicehash Quickminer? If so, please help me to do it. Currently I am mining BTC by default..
Hey Man, I just bought a 3090 and I am really disappointed as I am not sure if I am mining correctly. Do you offer any kind of support/Consulting service where you could log in into my PC and do all the right tweaks in order to know that I have it 100% fully running?
Dear new cards has Hashrate limit, just confirm that your card is limited or no, if no try to overclock it using afterburner software, give the correct settings.
Im finding the opposite, quickminer is earning my 2 dollars something a day yet the original is earning me close to 5?
Hello there, open source libraries are actually safer, because if somebody puts malicious code other developers can spot it immediately. On the other hand private repositories you don't know whats under the hood.
Hi GH, How about withdrawing your earnings does it cost you a few bucks?
Yes it does , I have a video , just search withdraw cryptocurrency on my channel
@@GamerHeavenOfficial Thanks
GH, I have an RX480 4gb, so I can’t mine etherium, but I’ve been mining monero with nbminer plug-in on nicehash about $1-1.30/ day. Would I be better off with quick miner with only this 4gb card?
Nice guide. Question regarding Nicehash - in my Rig Manager there is no 'optimization' profile to be selected. How can I use it?
Check to make sure your app is updated
I have an GTX 1650 but QM does not see it. Do I have to uninstall NiceHash?
What I did not like about quick miner, is that it automatically picks up mh, which is often lower than I get from regular miner.
On regular miner i chose self which one is better profit but not possible on quick one!! or maybe i do something wrong?
I'm curious to know how much your electrical bill went up after mining?
Nicehash has an estimator on their website that shows you how much any particular card will make you a month in profit and your expected electricity costs.
Ello. Would you recommend 100% fan on a 3070 if I am away and auto when I am at the pc?
I get anywhere from 52-59.8ish MH/s
I personally have my GPU and system fans at 95-100% while I am mining because I would rather replace a fan that a GPU or CPU.
hey everyone.. is there a setting which will make them SEND me an email when the hashrate falls below a certain number? makes it easier to be hands off... thanks!
Not to my knowledge, but you can set profitability to a threshold where it will stop mining and start again only when you are making a certain amount or higher
@@GamerHeavenOfficial hey man. Now that I have your attention haha - are you still using quickminer? Or have you moved onto another miner?
Reason being - I hear from a few others they prefer Trex on ethermine for example...
I have to say, quickminer is incredibly easy.
If my electricity is FREE, which gpu us the most efficient?
If electricity is free why are you bothered about efficiency?
I just started mining eth a couple days ago but the whole 1559 debacles has got me already wanting to transfer to rvn or cortex when I get my first payout
Need a recommendation on a desktop for mining?
Thanks for the video
You bet
Quickminer overclock in amazing, cards are silent and cold. A 3090 aorus waterforce is coming to me so I'm curios to see if It works well without overheating problems.
PS: I tryed It on 2060 strix, 2060super aorus, 2060 super asus dual, 2080ti lighting z and in all cases I have silent GPU and temps about 65 degrees on memory and 50 on core.
TNX man was realy usefull !!!
i am mining through the nicehash quick miner by setup gtx 1660 ti but i can't optimize the performance from website or basically the option of optimization is not present. why..?
Download MSI afterburner
Do you have a link for the latest version? the link on the github is dead
Does quickminer not support anything 4gb or under vram?
Quick Miner keeps changing my oc setting(lower my hash)? Any solution to fix this issue? Nicehash miner didn't have this issue.
Enter the nicehash website and look up at your rig,set the optimisation to manual I think you set it on other mode and nicehash automatically change the oc settings
Your making $10 a day with one GPU?
This needs to be updated. Modern 8+ core CPU's can earn more than average GPU's
What antivirus do you use?
i mine with both 24 7 whgile using the pc as a normal desktop it does not slow your pc down and make it unuseable at all. ryzen 2700
Can you tell me how to add a schedule to run at night while sleeping and shit off during the day?
When the calculator on nicehash gives you a daily estimate of what you could earn, is this based on 24h session??
yes
The real answer here is neither. Take some time to learn how to setup mining software, you can make more mining the right currency on a pool.
16GB RAM GTX NVidia 980M is profitable?
Yes
nicehash isn't mining, but they rent ur hardware to anyone's who wanna paid it
does anyone no why on nicehash it says my gpu is running at 100% but on task manager its average 40%
its probably because nicehash only has access to a certain amount of your gpu so the overall average wont be the same in nice hash
Hello there, I'm using 3090 Strix with the medium setting on NiceHash Quick miner my VRAM temperatures rising from 104C to 106C is that normal?
I have Lian Li O11 Dynamic Mid-Tower I removed my side, front glasses and top part and put my 9 fans into the extreme flow. My VRAM T dropped from 106C to 96C.
Christ that's mega fucking toasty
Be careful bud not sure if that's a healthy temp for your card haha
No its not. Consider your card used as s lut on nicehash. Now its dead XD Too late bro and no one will buy it back...You just got scammed, congrats.
Thanks! 🙏
I think i couldn't use QuickMiner because I want to run on $5/day Medium mode and quickminer didn't have the option. So, I use the classic miner. I tried Quickminer and it tacked out my system full blast, which I don't want. It's been 3 months, maybe i will try again but will be disappointed if i cannot turn down the power a little bit.
What's the outlook on the 30 day comparison video?
Be careful with quick miner. I have had it jump my gpu heat up to 80 c when traditional miner and msi miner my gpu heat stays around 60 c.
yes, I agree with you, this quick miner not stable!! you have no control on it. Not recommended.
i recomend stop using msi and try use NHQM optimization setting
@@johnleyangala5053 even messing with those the temp still would shoot up at times. Me personally sticking to msi and old nh miner at least for a few updates.
hvala, thanks for your tutorial
My pleasure
can you analyze the switch algos things and profit settings ? on advanced mode
I have a 3080. And when I select lite I get 106C, when I select medium I get 110C. Any suggestions?
Hi, what your power limit?
@@zcaptainzgaming my 220w when set on lite
Maybe you can try msi afterburner to lower power limit percentage
@@zcaptainzgaming I do, when I set it to 180w. It gets to 98-100C. He claimed to drop 10 degrees on medium when he used the online power settings. I jump to 110C when I use the online medium option. I'm just curious how he does that.
My gpu says it makes 140 dollars, so why do you say 30 dollars?
Idk if im doing something wrong.. But i mine my cpu as well but i don't have lag or anything i can stream hd videos and browse web fine.
same here, he probably has a slower, older cpu or with less cores
I have a 2060 and my absolute core clock I have is set to 1050 and the memory delta is set to 699 I get 28mh to 30mh speed $1+ to $2 a day.
my graphics card can't connect to any plugin, what can i do? my graphic card it rtx 2060 8gb
Update driver duh
I tried out the medium oc setting on my gtx 1060.
It went from 19 to 23mhs, and power went down from 100 to 90w, BUT, for some reason i started getting some more little "glitches" on the screen xD i just turned off the oc. Idk what happen it seems it was frying my gpu xd
Max overclock on Memory
Mild overclock on Core
60 to 65% power
Try this settings
It happenned on me too with my 1660, It went from 21 to 24mhs with 10watt lower,, after it ran for about an hour, my gpu fan suddenly started screaming like a jet...
love this episode. I'm using my acer nitro with a 2060 and agree that quick miner is simple and user friendly. I wish I could get my hands on a 3080 to see the difference
Same I'm using Acer Nitro with quick money, what are your results so far?
@@straptvyoutube3900 I only run the computer a little every day so the results seem negligible but the program tells me if I ran it 24/7 I’d get between $2-$3 a day
@@wesleyfriedmann3701 same, I'm gonna let it make money but I switched to ether mining. Seems to be less intensive with cool boost tech
That is what I have and mine is telling be about $2 a day. I don't think this is even worth the time because is this factoring in my increased power usage?
I'm sorry to say this..but unless you have 2 of the exact same systems and GPU (with same clock/memory settings)with one only running quickminer(daggerhashimoto) and one running the NBMiner daggerhashimoto there is no truthful comparison. Cause I am now earning 2.50 more a day using the NBminer. Thats because the current profitability always changes. Last week it barely hit 13.00, this week its hitting over 20 at times. Till someone does a side to side comparison for like 1 week there is no basis on saying quickminer makes more.
That is a valid point, but I can at least show my profits switching between the legacy app and the quick miner, and I am the kind of do the best with what you have guy.
@@GamerHeavenOfficial I got ya and wasn't trying to bash you, but I just think that a comparison would be the best for seeing which is actually better if any. If I had two of the same systems I would try it but as you know most of us are lucky to have 1 3080 or 3090 let alone 2. Keep up the good work on the channel though. Its interesting to watch!
Is there a way to control your gpu load on quick miner or will it always be at 100%
im pretty sure its always at 100 percent
@@_Brando_69 thanks
Better sell your GPU now until its still working XD You really do not understand its a scam XD

Oh, so you missed the part where they "lost" everyone's Bitcoin 5 years ago? They're not as new as you think.
They at least paid everyone back. In full.
@@rukkit8705 yes, but BTC prices were down like 70% from where they were when the coins were lost. I'm still a little bitter about it, but do occasionally recommend it to friends. I wouldn't if they hadn't repaid everyone.
