The 6gt roofline is beautiful if you ask me and does not make it look like a grandpa's car, the colour does for sure make it look like a grandpa's car but not the roofline, the roofline is ment to be a coupe styl and does look like it, overall the 6 gt I think is amazing and with a different colour it will look alot better i also like the 5gt but the facelift model :).
I think the 6 GT is absolutely great and it should be bought with a better color; like the space grey or a dark metallic blue

I'm a chauffeur and I think it would make an excellent limo - definitely on my list to consider for my next car. 7-series just too expensive, and in any case, I'd rather the superior boot of this one.

I love this model especially LCI ,thinking of buying mainly of its looks, its just gorgeous and very original among typical traditional and dull estate cars and saloons which to be honest are all becoming very similar to each other - 5series , e-class, a6.

If this is a Z8 gearbox why on this drive does it show S6 on the dash. How do you get up to the additional two gears please?
Best engine is the 640i with X-Drive and full air suspension......a cut price 7 series hatchback but still very very expensive with UK road tax nearly £500 per year.....however the drive is silky smooth and the underside of the car is an aerodynamic engineering dream......possibly the safest drive that BMW make....
Least pretty? Maybe the car configuration you have. If you take the m sport package in carbon black and 20inch individual wheels you have a really beautiful and sporty car

Apart from the lack of a full range of engines I thunk this is a great car for families and long distance touring. The 630D is probably the pick of the bunch as a cross continent GT. I'd take one :)
Here in Italy, in order to avoid the payment of a much higher car tax (hence the hope that this car sells more units even though not many people actually like it) there's the 249 hp version 3.0 D as well as the 2.0 D 190 hp! The other available versions are much more expensive even in terms of the car tax we need to pay in this country
Best alternative to the X5 or 7 series.

That's a great car. If specs equally the cost is exactly the same as 5 series touring (which can vary on the country price tag).
Would love to see current review of 6GT (640ix LCI).
I bought myself a 630d with xDrive and all wheel turning - I ticked most option boxes.
I had a 530d GT before, so I can only imagine that this will be a great deal better!

Phillip Hoffman as a chauffeur, I think this concept is fantastic - similar size to a 7-series, but with a significantly better boot, and it looks better than an SUV. I applaud BMW.
@@philliphoffman3979 A7 is shit if compared to the 6 GT!! This BMW is a wonderful car and it's clever because it has more leg room and more comfort in general than a 5 series and it has the same luxury and comfort as the 7 series! And it costs less!! Even though it's a lot of money anyway, it costs less!! You can tell me that you don't like the exterior, that's fine! But you need to recognize that this car has a "reason to live"
