Im very happy to see this video. Over the last few weeks ive been seeing video titles such as "The end is coming" "I had an NDE, and saw people burning and suffering in hell" "God is wrathful " God won't forgive these sins" and other posts of people who have left Christianity because they were terrified. Awful things to read. I'm thinking to myself as i read those titles that these poor people are brainwashed, they don't know who God really is. At least not the God that Swedenborg has told us about. The bible version of him is terrifying, even for me. People are also saying Jesus will say Go from me i never knew you if you aren't saved. Its been mad!! Anyway, great video. And Happy New Year to you, your family and all the OTLE team from Ireland.

Wow, that was the shortest reaction of a very small part of this debate. Why didn't you review the whole part about slavery? Me thinks you actually saw it and decided you wanted no part of that. If I recall Alex O'Connor did a beautiful job pointing out the horrors that are unjustifiable regarding slavery in the bible. Also, are you saying that God is NOT all powerful and is unable to change anything about his own creation here on earth?

I'd love to have a recorded conversation with you on my channel, Curtis, about Swedenborg, his ideas, his visions and afterlife dynamics. 🙂

If you're an infallible being that holds all the knowledge of the universe, there is zero reason why, 2000 years later, people are still scratching their heads about the Manual.
As the world moves forward, it becomes clear how we are moving away from our past and don't have to rely on a thing like religion to keep us honest and have sound morality based on empathy.
Anyone, I repeat anyone, who is trying to tell you that you need to go through an imaginary middle man in order to be morally sound is trying to sell you something or wants to control you.

CURTIS - Keep trying to give you video link to react to, Maybe not allowed. Capturing Christianity, video on Pascal's Wage "Should we wager on God . . ." Discussion btw Christian, Atheist & Dr. of 'religion ' (not clear on specific degree as she name a few areas of study. Maybe epistemology.) The discussion is about the validity of Pascal's Wager ftom pov of Ph.D. and educated proclaimed, open-minded atheist. I posted this comment accidentally as a reply. After listening twice to this it seems to me that there is a fundamental lack of foundational knowledge about heaven, the Bible, even Christianity as a whole, inherent in this conversation. Woild live Curtis' reaction. A lot to process here.

I wouldn't watch anything Ben Shapiro has to say. He is a horrible person. But, I think you're great, Curtis!

Why is he 'a horrible person' in your opinion?

@@undisputed1972 I have neither the time nor the inclination to list every reason I think he is a horrible person. He is very self-important, lacks empathy, and isn't nearly as bright as he thinks he is. I'll leave it at that.

@tiffinid8961 I don't think he's that bad, to be honest. I thought there might have been something bad about him on the news that I'd missed. We agree to disagree I guess.

@@undisputed1972 That's fine; everyone is entitled to their opinion. I don't want to have a political discussion on Curtis' fine channel. :) I probably should have kept my mouth shut. I'm working on that.
