I come from the S22 ultra, I now have the S23 Ultra and although it is always a small upgrade I have no regrets. Why? The battery life is finally better. The 1st day I got up to 9 hours of effective usage time. The next day about 8 hours, the next day 7:30 am and today 3h14min of use and still 70% left. Of course it depends on what you do with it. What strikes me is when I use the video camera I use a lot of battery. Taking photos and using tom tom go and waze is not too bad. Even the first 10% when your smartphone is charged does not fly off so quickly and the battery also goes down less quickly via 4G. The 8K 30fps is also much better than the 8K 24fps, although I do not recommend the 8K when it is very dark outside, that did not give a good result for me, but it did during the day. The 200mp camera is also very good, but it can happen that the main camera does a bit better, but when you start to zoom in the photo, the 200mp camera is lord and master. Twitter also scrolls a lot smoother now and so on, the phone is just a bit more refined, is a bit smoother.

At this rate all phoness are equal one maybe better for taking pictures the other average at a decent spec and those who want a full dynamic cannon photo buy a R5 even if phones hit DSR quality then we have mirror less that is getting better and better than DSR quality so cameras will never be killed of I mean. Cameras today can hit over 2000nits brightness anyway phones just bairly squeak by I mean a big sensor means more brightness how big a sensor can you slap into a phone because full size cameras have 50mm sensors and only getting bigger let's more light meaning 10000nit cameras for that 10000nit TVs for dynamic range

Had a pre-order on the 1st of Feb, today cancelled it, after watching too many reviews I reached a conclusion as a moderate user that I will not notice any difference in comparison to my current S22 Ultra even though its with exynos chip, not even an external look to say to my brain I have a different phone 😞
Flagship phones from Samsung and Apple these days are having a sub par unboxing experience. Very soon they might also stop including charging cable and say we may have one lying around anyway.
About the developer options, i also use half speed animations on my phones😃 It does help, phones feel much faster. Don't know if it would be worthy on my new s23 ultra, but we'll see🤔
Isn't there a Night Mode at 50MP??? I swear they said that on their stream! 🤔 Can you test it!?? Also they have introduced an AMAZING battery saver! Pass Through Charging! Enabled through their Game Booster. Enables you to charge whilst gaming, and the power goes straight to the chip, bypasses the battery which saves you a lot of volts, heat and battery degradation!

Hello. On social media, there are many rumors that phones will be like this in the future as they can expand upon reservation, transparent, hologram... etc. My question is, do you think these rumors will be true in the future, or will the phones retain their current rectangular prism shape and can be put into a pocket? Option A in the survey can keep their current shape exactly, but those who say that we can enlarge the images on the screen with a 3D hologram from inside the screen can mark it when desired. Option B can be worn on the wrist like a bracelet, it can stretch when pulled, those who say they can't even relate to their current shape can mark it. Thank you for your answers in advance A or B
Does the S23 drop lots of frames when recording 4K60? My S21 creates a VFR file (Variable Frame Rate) that averages 50-55fps due to all of the dropped frames when there's a lot of motion. Playback is too choppy and distracting for anything other than happy snaps.

I hope I do get a respond to this , I am using a fold device and been a loyal Samsung user for more than a decade, but my issue is with Netflix (and other video services), Netflix videos were dull/dim and if you increase the brightness to max, the subtitles become super bright and annoying while the video isn't THAT bright. Does the S23 ultra solve it?
My current Mobile is the Samsung Note 20 Ultra and i ABSOLUTELY love this mobile, time has passed and i think its time for a new mobile, would you say this would be a perfect upgrade?
Exactly!!...I just got the s23 ultra and the performance, smoothness, camera and battery life is just mind blowing. My note 20 ultra isn't smooth anymore and some times the lags and frame drops and bad battery life was driving me insane. Am so glad the s23 ultra comes with Snapdragon 8gen 2 in all regions.
4 years of TIMELY software updates + 1 year of security updates is unprecedented among Android phones. You sort of mentioned this later on in the video but didn't emphasize it enough, especially at the beginning when you compared the S23U with its competitors.
i got the phone and im going to document my steps with it. Unlike reviewers, this will be my main device for a long long time. I wont hold back on a device that cost me 1099 GBP
The iPhone here in the US with 512GB and the LOWER res camera 48MP is $1,399 DOLLARS!!!! How is that cheaper than the S23!!!!! I purchased the S23 for $423 DOLLARS with 512GB and a 200MP camera!!!!
No matter how good the phone is, one software update from the company and green lines on screen will destroy it after 2 years of launch. Making the buyers spend extra on screen replacement.

IMPORTANT !! I wish you notice that the price of this phone is different in every region, here in Iraq its the cheapest this year, for only 1049$ you get the s23 ultra 512gb version+ galaxy watch 5 44mm !!! AMAZING deals isn't it ? I've ordered mine a week ago
Had a pre-order on the 1st of Feb, today cancelled it, after watching too many reviews I reached a conclusion as a moderate user that I will not notice any difference in comparison to my current S22 Ultra even though its with exynos chip, not even an external look to say to my brain I have a different phone 😞
You are now officially somewhere between a Sheep and a Wolf.
Congratulation and keep up the god work!
You don't upgrade every year
Software for the cameras will get better overtime.
Flagship phones from Samsung and Apple these days are having a sub par unboxing experience. Very soon they might also stop including charging cable and say we may have one lying around anyway.
You are the best phone reviewer on RUclips! Your videos are just much fun and wholesome to watch!
What is worry me is that price plummeting on secondhand market, after one year more than 50%…:(.
I'm looking forward to upgrading my Note 10+ to the new S23 Ultra.
About the developer options, i also use half speed animations on my phones😃 It does help, phones feel much faster. Don't know if it would be worthy on my new s23 ultra, but we'll see🤔
I don't understand why Samsung will support Dolby Atmos (even though it's just an EQ) in their phones, but not Dolby Vision
That 4k portrait video looked insane!!
Forreal
And that zoom at 6:57
@@danzig4276 cnt wait for mine to arrive. Currently using s21 ultra which is the best phone I ever used
@@billytubes same cant wait !
Yup it does
0:03 NEVER IMPRESSED BY MENFASHIONS MODEL MORE THAN YOU I JUST LOVE THAT OUTFIT MAN
The affiliate link takes you to the US site so am I right in presuming the extra discount doesn't apply to purchases for UK customers?
how about shutter lag and blurry photos? :)
Shame the affiliate link is only for US consumers :(
the real test begins with the first and the second update
In Indonesia, we've actually got 12/256 as the base model, idk why does that differ from UK but at least that's great for the consumers here.
4 years of security updates maybe, system updates, good luck if your on T-Mobile or Verizon
CORRECTION!!! The S23 Ultra does not share the same Snapdragon clock .S23 has the fastest and coolest temperature that EVERY new Snapdragon chip out this year.Yhe chip literally says "Made for Samsung" on it..Do better Tech Chap
Does the s22 ultra case fit the s23 ultra?
Got the all-important text from EE that my 23U is coming before next Friday, yay! 😄
I think it’s very worth the money plus if u pre-order it u get double storage and a tablet so yeah I’m buying it😂
Yup just got mine today absolutely love it
@@808.sfx_ ayo nice my guy
Thank you for your language and pronouncing, for me as non native English speaker it's very comfortable to get what you talk and understand it, I really appreciate your reviews and how clear and comfortable they are. Thank you 🤗
Order my ultra from Best Buy with a $180 off plus $100 Best Buy gift card. This will be my 1st samsong flagship as I am upgrading from the A53. Can't wait to try it out and see how it compares to my iPhone 14 pro Max.
Fantastic phone, but I'm sticking with my S22 Ultra until the S24 ultra and Z-fold 5 come out... which will be before you know it.
I've been using the galaxy s10 plus for years and have pre ordered one of these....mainly for the improved camera and s pen capabilities
You'll find it night and day. Enormous upgrade
Americans : Keep your s22 ultra, the upgrades are minimal
Europeans : THE SUFFERING, THE TORTURE, IT IS OVER
That taco truck in Westwood is so good 😂
Why I feel only thing better is the Videos and everything did a short downgrade, or I am wrong?
Managed to get mine for £680 with trade in, so pretty happy with that, similar to how much I paid for my s21u exynos
I bought the s23 ultra 1tb and ill be getting it monday!
I like the thicker armor aluminum on the sides, making the fron glass a subtle curve instead of a "waterfall"
When can we get the small s23 full review?
People who buy Samsung phones through edu portal or employee portals get imo the best deals. Was able to pickup a 512GB S23U, with buds 2 pro and samsung care for $1400 AUD. Can't complain.
We may have watched other viewers millions of time on You Tube, but you are simply the best
Thank you for your answers in advance
A or B
Does the S23 drop lots of frames when recording 4K60? My S21 creates a VFR file (Variable Frame Rate) that averages 50-55fps due to all of the dropped frames when there's a lot of motion. Playback is too choppy and distracting for anything other than happy snaps.
S22 Ultra had astrophotography but S23Ultra supposedly improved on it
You did a great job with your thumbnail.. Wow..
Had the phone for 24 hours now. So far, it's been amazing :)
Do you feel it's heavy while long usage?
@@7ish4m I'm not a person who use my phone for hours (prefer using my laptop) so it's hard to say if it would feel heavy after an hour or more of usage, but for my usage I haven't notice the weight at all.
$1,200 and not even a case or charger, words that truly hurt, considering we use to get that and an SD card and headphones.
Today i have sony xperia 1 lll. I am waiting for the xperia 1 V thst will be announced i may. But then i started get advertising for the s23 ultra and i like it. It is only one thing that stop me now from buy that one. The temperature in top of the phone increase quite fast and get littlebit warm when using the camera. I saw one clip there a guy measure the temperature to 45 degree celsius whit a thermal camera. What is you thought about that after using the phone for a week? Should i gocfor the s23 ultra or whait for xperia 1 V?
I just ordered mine. In China we get the phone with a charger and a clear case. 🎉❤

My boss showed me this, wonder does it take Apple AIFF music folders or some kind of CD quality folders. I have 11 pro, mostly AIFF in my music library, 512 GT, with new AirPods pro 2, audio quality is unbeatable.
@4:38 Battery percentages are blurred!!
My s23 ultra lasted more than 2 days! With adaptive refresh rate 😆
I am considering this since I am making quite a large leap in models, from the s9+. Honestly what is selling it most for me is that it has the s-pen due to me having quite severe arthritis along with a bit sketchy memory meaning I am constantly in need of a stylus but can never remember to bring one
Looking forward to getting s23 ultra coming from a s21+ so should be alot faster!! Pre order with ee 17th feb release date!!
@ 3.16 what game is he playing? Got myself the 512 green version. Coming from a OnePlus 8 Pro I'm suprised by the battery life. Mobile reception is way less then on the OnePlus but no interference on phone calls so far. Only little bit slower 4G speeds.
Good review, I've pre-ordered S23 Ultra and can't wait to get it! This phone is so good with the best specs and the price is expensive but can be reduced, the new colors are so cool👍. Also, I ordered a full body protector from Gadgetshieldz because I used my previous phone without a screen protector and got so many scratches!
I have upgraded from a s20fe 4g which was already great. The 23 ultra so far has been amazing and I am happy with it.
I just received the S23 Ultra!
I got this yesterday in green/256gb 8 ram version. I did have the S21 Ultra 256gb in silver which has been sold to my brother for a heavily discounted price
I currently have iPhone 12 but I really like Samsung. Waiting to upgrade to Samsung if they come up with something new maybe s24 ultra. But I am also happy with the iPhone. But like the features of android.
Camera assistant and a few other settings on S23 Ultra will improve lag
Care to share what all you changed? I’m new to Samsung from Apple.
I'm sticking with my S20 plus for now. It's outta contract, works perfectly well, apart from the battery life getting lower gradually.
Still using note 10 +
I'm sticking with my s10 plus, still going strong
If you add screen protectors in your basket you get 10% off your whole order on top of the double storage. Typing this on mine now 🤣🤣 (offer in the UK only)
I hope I do get a respond to this , I am using a fold device and been a loyal Samsung user for more than a decade, but my issue is with Netflix (and other video services), Netflix videos were dull/dim and if you increase the brightness to max, the subtitles become super bright and annoying while the video isn't THAT bright.
@@sfmbro_vedio thank you! This is very helpful 😊
Yup
It is not Giorilla Glass 2 but the Victus 2....
which watch were you wearing for the video
