    Both my wife and i recently switched from iphone to android. Not a single regret made, absolutely performs better than the iphone. Camera isnt even arguable, it just shocks me coming from an iphone for many years. We both got the s23 ultra in phantom and the light pink color. These phones just changed the way we see apple now. Personally im a new android fan now lol.

      @jaysupa1882 We are in our early 20s to to late 20s. Im soon turning 30, the apple products that both me and my wife have ever used its airpods (mostly) never apple care or any of the other stuff lol. We just dont see any benefit using it. For us it wasnt hard to let go of apple because of what we had for the last few years. Personally im now a huge fan of samsung because of what they offer and however much discounts and deals they have often. Its amazing, you dont really see that with apple, its just student discojnts, now with samsung that caught my attention is their huge steal deals. Dont be afraid to switch if you want to try something new. Apple is easy but android you can create your own ways of using their products.

      I really love Apple but starting to get fed up. The charging ports are weak.. I constantly have issues with it no matter what. My camera won’t work and its not great when it does… the s23 ultra has me like debating but I love apple so much😭 I feel like I’d regret losing certain stuff

      @jaysupa1882 my air pod pros work perfectly on my s23u. They even have apps to support them. I also have the watch which now is just collecting dust but. I don't think you'll regret switching. The screens/camera/colors etc are second to none on samsung.
      Android auto is the same as Apple play. Spotify instead of Apple music you have options.
      Fast charging, better battery, screen, camera, colors #1

    The camera is sadly not the best. This title goes to Huawei P60 pro. And Video goes to the iPhone 14 pro.
    Performance is not the best. This title goes to Red Magic 8 Pro+ and Asus ROG phone 7 Ultimate.
    Build quality is not the best. This title goes to iPhone 14 pro/max (but it is the best in the android camp)
    Battery life is not the best. Most mid range phones beat it. And in the flagship category it comes 2nd-3rd (behind the iPhone 14 pro Max, Rog Phone 7/U and Honor M5 pro)
    The screen is top tier, better than the S22 , but not the absolute best (low PWM dimming and no 10 bit)
    Software support is the best for Android, but the best overall is Apple. Security is the best because of samsung knox and knox vault (ties with Apple and Google).
    S Pen is the best ( better than Apple's equivalent pen or any other manufacturer who makes smart pens)
    You could say it is the best phone overall because it is an excellent all-rounder(+ the unique S pen feature) and top tier in every solo category, but it is not the king in most of these solo categories.

    • @AndroidDigest
      @AndroidDigest  Год назад +2

      It's in the top tier in every category. We shouldn't be comparing this in performance to a gaming phone no one will buy. It's right there in the top tier. Same with display, and Camera. Can't get Huawei in the US. So in the US it's right there, either the best or the top tier in every category, making it like you said, the best all around phone in my opinion.

      @@monstermayankThere can be some shutter speed problems indoors. Not always I must say, but the issue can occur. Outdoors I have found the shutter speed issue fades, especially if you pan to follow a moving target for some reason. I get razor sharp dead stop images doing this.

    Yeah, I'm loving this phone too! I originally had the wifi problem where it would drop my connect over a dozen times a day. It was fixed for me with the April security update and I haven't looked back since! Also, I translate media from Japanese to English as a hobby and the S-Pen is amazing for simply handwriting kanji to search in dictionaries! With handwriting recognition, the phone can easily understand the characters I write quickly and accurately, meaning I don't have to know how to pronounce/spell the word to look it up. Not a normal use case but I've been using Galaxy Note devices for years because of this! Great video as always!

    Great video! I have a pixel 7 pro that’s had to be replaced three times already by Google. Yes…. 3 times! I love the pixel phones, but about every three months I start getting the green screen of death, once the phone overheats, the screen starts to flash, and then I get the green flashes on the side of the screen when you turn it on or off. I’m on my third phone and this one is just started to do it. So I’m thinking of making the switch to Samsung. Thanks for the video was very informative!

The auto mode the quality is lacking. Too much over processing make the photos look like paintings. The raw quality though is amazing. The fast charging is a bonus and somewhat makes up for the average battery life.

    I usually get a new iphone every year and periodically get a new Android. I finally traded my Note 20 Ultra for the s23 ultra and it is surprisingly so much better. Battery is awesome. Still have the s-pen. Its way quicker all the way around. Camera is awesome. I think the camera on the s23 is the best - but video is the best on iPhone because their stablization is much better. But Samsung is getting there. If it's time for an update - most definitely get this phone. Worth the money. Oh, and Samsung gave me $600 trade on my Note 20 Ultra, so it made great sense to update.

      That's not true. The S23U speakers are a big upgrade from previous generations. The Note 10+ had great speakers, but the subsequent models were a step backward. Also, I find it hilarious how so many first timers are so enamored by the S23U that they think it is new and unique. The S22U is literally the same phone with a less efficient processor and less fullness of sound from the speakers.

    I upgraded from the note 20 ultra and the s23u is a lovely phone. I'm pleased that I upgraded. The biggest plus is the battery life, it lasts so much longer. Just as an example when I was at work my phone would spend time in airplane mode and only used during the breaks but by the end of my shift the battery was 50% or lower. You could always make the argument to wait for the next model. Right now if you buy it at a good time, especially around Black Friday, you will probably have some really good sales. Those are sales. You won't get on the s24 for months and months. So that may be one factor for you. I would either buy during a big sale or wait. The big sales are coming, Black Friday. • @AndroidDigest
      @AndroidDigest  Год назад +1

      It's really hard to leave that apple ecosystem. Don't feel bad if you decide not to. For me it's not a big deal to tell my family members to use Facebook Messenger to send pictures. But most of the time they just text me like normal and it's not a big deal. We use Facebook Messenger for video calls. So I don't need iMessage like a lot of people. But a lot of people are pretty deep in it and it's completely understandable. Just be patient with the process of transferring all your data to the new phone. And give yourself time to adjust. And if you don't like it, don't be yourself up. It's a little hard to adjust to something new and some people just can't. With all that being said, it's definitely an incredible camera with some incredible features and the phone itself is amazing too. Plus you get a lot more flexibility with Android. Hope you enjoy it

In terms point and shoot, they've still haven't caught up with ZSL algorithm that Google introduced more than 5 yrs ago with the Pixel 2. I have the 23U, a Pixel 6 and some cheap Oppo phone. I find that most of the photos from the primary 200mp camera are not necessarily better than the Pixel tbh. I rarely get a non-blurry photo of my dog, unlike when using the Pixel. The 3x and 10x zoom cameras are super useful, and fun to play with. The only things I miss on the Pixel is the speech to text, it’s next level compared to the version available on the Galaxy. And the “continued conversation” with the Google Assistant. That allowed for multiple questions/commands without having to say ”Hey Google” every time.

      I 100% agree with you. The pictures from the pixel phone are subjective because the colors are a little more accurate than the Galaxy phone. The Galaxy phone takes better pictures of nature and it has more versatility with the zoom. But it's not necessarily better in every situation. With the things I take pictures with it's definitely a lot better. But it can vary. But the battery life and the performance is better than pixel and I like how the phone doesn't overheat like my pixel phones would. Maybe they wouldn't overheat but they would get a little toasty. So everyone is different as far as which phone they prefer in the end. I'd still argue this is probably the best phone, but not by much, and some people will just prefer a phone like a pixel and I wouldn't blame them

      @AndroidDigest I completely agree that the S23 Ultra is still the overall better phone. I'm very happy that I made the switch. This coming from a former Pixel fan boy. 🤫

      why? Is there a shutter lag in the camera or the shutter speed is low?

    • @rockowilson2320

      @@monstermayankI believe shutter lag has always been an issue with Samsung. They've definitely improved it a lot with the S23 Ultra, but it's still very much there. If you're mainly going to be taking pics of younger kids or pets, I honestly wouldn't recommend it over the Pixel. Otherwise it's a much better device overall.

    If snap 8 gen2 was the main cause, other phone should have equivalent bat. But they don't. So let's give some SDI(SS BATTERY CORP) some credit for their break thru tech on making round battery pack feasible as for Tesla and they recently announced that they will start producing solid state battery early as next year. This means longest lasting, fastest charging, and doubling life span. 😁

    I switched from s20 ultra which I've had for 3 years and the first thing that blew my mind was the sound omg it blew me a way and bassy this is my first stylus phone what about that there is only 8 gig memory instead of what I had on the s20 ultra will this make a difference

      Oh yeah, sound and a stylus. I don't think the lower ram will make a difference at all, 8 GB is more than enough. You can still run 15 apps at the same time no issue, so I wouldn't stress. Just guessing on that number, but yeah, you will have no problems.

      @AndroidDigest even compared to phones today. Outside of not getting new OS updates which is Samsung's choice (as opposed to a physical limitation of the phone), it does pretty much most of what the s23 ultra does for 1/3 the price if you don't need the fastest chip for intensive high demand games. Headphone jack, expandable storage, spen and speaker on the right side of the phone for right handed users, nice 1440p display. I will say that the squared off physical design of the s23 ultra is better though. 5 years old and it has a 4k mAh battery vs the 5k on the s23 ultra. 6.4 vs 6.8 inch display.
      It still truly is a legit competitor (factoring in price and how most people use their phones) and a benchmark for all modern phones. It's the last great note and in my opinion the last great phone Samsung has made.

    Dumb question maybe but if I get this S23, will all the same Apps on my iPhone (11 Pro Max) be ported over easily to the S23? - Also, It looks like the S23 has a much better camera And a slightly bigger screen (6.8” to 6.7”), And no big ass annoying notch to interfere with watching content. - Lastly, does this phone use USB-C charging? Thx.

      Thanks for subbing by the way. Appreciate you. Sorry for the late response. Yes it uses usb-c charging. As far as apps, to my knowledge, no. You will have to reinstall. But to me it's worth going through that hassle. As far as other things, yes, you can use their transfer tools to get contacts at least and pictures from your phone. As long as you go through the android setup process and transfer through that, or through Samsung smart switch after. But either way it's a hassle. But once you do it once, you can stay on board.
