Try doing to right...ever heard of a bucket?
@@aaronhammer7404 drain pump is at ground level. Getting a bucket under that is not possible unless you lift the washer. I used a trash pump to empty the tub first then only had minimal drip to catch with a rag.
How ridiculous! You must do this! I guarantee if you never clean out the filter trap and drain the emergency hose, then you are asking for trouble!
@@johngrefe2232 you can lay down the bucket and it will still catch about a half gallon of water
Finally somebody addressing the real issue! 🤜🤛 You gotta lift the washer to do this and not everyone can just lift a washer.
I'm obviously having this issue right now 😂🤦

Thank you for the video, I got a Samsung front load washer in platinum the week before Christmas 2020. I read the manual to clean the pump filter but it didn’t explain things to well. Watching your video I know how easy it is. Best part you demonstrated on a Samsung.....thanks again......VERY HELPFUL!

Get a container.
I use a baking pan with towels around it to catch excess water...
I wish all brand will have front access. I had a whirlpool and it can only be done by removing back panel. Problem is I can’t pull forward my washer. It’s heavy, with water trap metal thing at the bottom. It lasted 15 yrs without any maintenance.

I just bought a whirlpool washer 5.0, the clean out area is behind the load and go detergent dispenser at the bottom pull out drawer. Would the same procedure work on this too ?

I have a smart washer machine and after 1 years with it I just noticed there is not an only discharge water option, have to do a whole cycle for at least 20 minutes which is the shorter one this machine have. UNBELIEVABLE!.
I used a milk jug to catch the water.
and my machines are a foot or so off the ground for convenience.

So, how do you drain a unit faster so it not draining as a slower rate than I pee??

Don’t turn it if you need to drain the water because it will drain into the house
Alas I have a Samsung but it does not have this feature. It must have been added to models after 2007
There has to be another thing to drain on these machines. I’ve done this hoping to make it lighter and the machine still weighs a ton.
What can i do then if i do that n it fails to drain outomatically again??

Ok last resort, I have a broken beyond repair front loader. That, is now full, and I mean full to capacity with water. Its drainage pipe does not and has never functioned. Please tell me I can empty this thing via the waste pipe. It's knackered I'm not worried about it breaking I am worried about flooding my floor and going another month without a washing machine...I have looked everywhere and everything says use the drainage pipe.....it doesn't have one so will this work?
Pull out the hose and finger it. Ok. Seems strange but I’ll give it a try.
