I don’t understand what we gain by pointing out that certain news channels/reports/reporters portray men (or women, or disabled people, or just whoever they can basically) as less than in whatever way, on a feel good story that doesn’t come close to contributing to the “narrative”, but I don’t think you’re wrong to say it, nor did I intend to imply so.

Kidneys transplants tend to be most successful when the sex of the donor and recipient match, e.g. father to son. It makes sense medically.
