Although I mostly use a modular helmet, I do love my Gringo 'standard', especially when the weather warms up. The feeling of an open face helmet with the addition of chin protection. I have had a few bees get caught in it though as I was riding. Not a warm and fuzzy feeling.
I got these, idk why but even with the newly added vents, the shield just keeps getting fogged up, and they haven’t release any new accessories like liners or fog-proof shields for this yet, so for now I’d suggest staying away from it
Correct, the Gringo started undergoing fit changes with the ECE update, although as the video states we still feel it’s too close to the mouth making it feel a size small.
Size wise they screwed up with the ECE design being the chin guard is way too close to your chin now, with the extra room they had in the 2018 version is now taken up by a thick piece of plastic.
Ever since Biltwell went to the ECE standards the fitment is absolute crap. chin hits the chinguard, extra space taken up by hard plastic inside makes them fit small which also means less room for soft foam. The pre ECE Gringo was the most comfortable helmet I've ever had and they managed to make it the most uncomfortable and worst fitting helmet I've ever had. Sorry I bought it, they need to re-think and re-design after going ECE.

This would be cool to hand paint like the old f1 guys did. Big bold letters and simple geometric designs
As someone who rode motorcycles during the time when this was top technology. Don’t. Terrible foggy if sealed and terrible noise when not.
You lost me at noisy.

I really love the cherry red version, but the fogging and scratching? Seems a bit like 'style over substance'.
This would look bad ass with my Lowrider ST.
hey I just noticed that the matte black and gray colorways come with rubber liner instead of aluminum, does that make any difference at all? thanks
Sadly no difference around the shield area, the shield still doesn’t seal fully so fogging etc remains the same.
@@RevZilla Is this helmet suitable for Asian heads?😁
So if I am understanding right the Gringo S is round oval and now the SV is intermediate Oval?
They updated the Gringo S to 22.06 as well so I would be very surprised if they had a different fit.

Thankyou sirs!
They need to make a bubble visor for it
For the price it just doesn’t look worth it to me. Am I first for once?
Will the bubble shield fit with this helmet?
in resume stay away from biltwell crappy helmets!
Yeah no pin lock is a dealbreaker for me
They have pin lock visors. I have one on mine
