Thanks for sharing this video I went to Lebanon and travelled to various places in January 2020 for 8 days it is an amazingly beautiful country I loved the mountains especially, lovely people ans so friendly I really hope that the country sorts its problems out the great Lebanese people deserve better. Love from UK 🇬🇧 🇱🇧
I am Lebanese, everything Dawoud stated about Lebanon was true. I love his videos. He shows the truth of each country, which is good for people that want to travel. This will give all his followers and viewers a more clear picture of where they are going !
I want to visit lebanon from USA in a few months. is it safe to walk around zahle and surrounding towns?? Where do i convert to LL. black market rate?? one month 1 bedroom rental costs??
Thank you for explaining the currency exchange issue between banks and black market exchange booths. That really makes a big difference for a trip. It can make it or break it.
There are well over a dozen different varieties of kubbeh in the levant Generally it has 2 main ingredients bulgur/wheat and meat You should try kibbeh nayyeh (raw kibbeh) it is specific to the south lebanese region although it's raw but it tastes really good
The number of beggars has increased with the Syrian war and economic situation of Lebanon. The trash...well...you imagine yourself...in the middle of a huge political/economic crises and Corona epidemy the port exploded the way we all saw on the news. The trash is the last thing that the government will take care of. And yet, you see people treating the tourists the way they treat. Lebanon is amazing and the Lebanese people are adorable. Love from a Brazilian in Germany ❤
Hi there. I have a trip planned to Lebanon in July. Did you have a driver while you were there? If so, how did you find them? Also. How do you find where to exchange money at the black market rate?
The begging issue comes from non lebanese individuals.. you won't find a lebanese begging for money even if he's extremely poor.... Venture also out of just Beirut... U'r missing a lot of cool places...( Jounieh bay,, cable car...).. Jbeil.. Batroun, baalbek, tripoli... Saida etc
The beggars are not lebanese for your own information ,a lebanese would not beg even if he is starving. There are many charities and Churches who take care of unfortunate lebanese .
Lebanon , Syria, Jordan, Palestine " the Levant countries" are sharing 90% the same culture ,food..etc so if you went to more diffrent restaurents in Jordan you would find tabbuleh and kubbeh " that's how we say it here 😅".... but as lebanese are good in marketing and showing their culture, other countries think that it's lebanese,, will some are originaly from lebanon like tabbouleh and fattoush but you can't say that about kubbeh shawerma and hommos ,,,,any dish that appears in any part of the levant countrie - through ages- spread the other day to the rest 😅 ... anyway that bread is called " khubez shami " which means leavant bread

Paris of the Middle East. When is it a good time to go? I went Lebanon many years ago after my ghastly oppressive trip to Jordan and absolutely loved it. People were pretty decent to me and food great. Also there are some really good looking people there and while yes it probably is too much into nose jobs, i did not find them unpleasant as can often go with vanity. As a brown person i felt chilled here. Though I have read they can be mean to domestic folk but i think thats not just a Lebanese problem, i think its world wide. Absolutely love Beirut and the best food. The currency was in a better state when i visited, i think i paid in dollars in main. Your 75 dollars thing sounds insane! Things must be worse. (Gosh is that the infamous suicide spot, eeks had forgotten that!)

what did you see in Lebanon? You go to film the trash? If you want to see the real Lebanon you should’ve arranged a tourist plan instead of walking around randomly, I am sure if i travel to Azerbaijan i will find poor people, beggars and trash if I go to the areas that you avoided to film in your own country. All countries have their good and bad sides, if i compare this video with other tourist videos in Lebanon, then I will think you are in another country completely, I feel bad that your trip to Lebanon was useless without seeing the beauty of the real Lebanon.
I am a diaspora 100% lebanese. I got tears in my eyes seeing those beautiful young guys. What will there future be in a country run by corupt politicians. 🙈

I am lebanese, it's satisfying that you still can appreciate it in its turmoil. Go to Zahle, no beggers there and 24/7 electricity
Lebanon is overrated man (ana lebnene), and you know the worst thing about it is that its full of shias.
Things will imrove, i plan to visit it next month too for blogging
