As a blind musician, I really commend Native Instruments for implementing this level of Accessibility.
Thank you so much Ashley. This means a lot!
As a blind music producer.
I would say that native instruments work toward accessibility is undefinable in words!. Thanks for this grate gift NI! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
This means a lot. Thank you so much for your kind words ❤️
I was lucky enough to be the first blind person to see this in-action back in 2016. I subsequently bought into the ecosystem, sold most of my hardware and now teach, produce and gig with Komplete Kontrol exclusively. In particular, the S61 MK2.
There is so much that I simply could not do without NI’s accessibility implementation, so I for one am thankful for Native Instruments adding such functionality to Komplete Kontrol and the Komplete Kontrol line of keyboards.
I’ve probably sold more visually impaired musicians this hardware than a lot of music shops and distributors :)
NI, I’m here whenever you feel like giving me a job haha
Thank you so much for your support Andre!
@@NativeInstruments I think it’s cruel to release the kontrol s series mk3 without a single guide as to how to enable accessibility for the visually impaired. We have searched the net for days and have checked your knowledge base. 🤷🏽♂️ nothing. All instructions in this video are wonderful but can’t help us if there’s no mixer button on the new keyboard to activate accessibility in the first place.
Please give us a guide on how to fix this as we are running behind on our project.
You guys set the bar extremely high with this feature set in your products, the entire industry should be looking to you to help them standardize features like this, you've earned a customer for life.
As a blind music producer, I really love the Komplete Kontrol set up with the accessibility. I use the S 61 MK to and as a person who is not a trained keyboard is I am still able to produce music using all of the valuable tools and I has put in this product you guys rock!🎉
Happy to hear you like our S61 Robert 🎉
Great to hear/ read about this. ❤
This video is so helpful in general for understanding Komplete keyboards ... goodness ... we need MORE tutorial videos ... love NI software ... but understanding and using the hardware together is often difficult for many, including me ... really appreciate this video .... we need MORE like it ... thank you again!!
More tutorials coming your way ✌️
I have been in love with NI since long time ago! I have working eyes but seeing this type of features and even the video its made for visually-impaired users, makes me so F happy, you don't have idea, cause music is for everyone and you guys are making accessible with this type of things for everyone! kudos
♥
Appreciate the love and support 😇
So useful and well implemented!
sooo great. There are some reasons for me to love NI-Stuff. I don't need the accessibility features - but you built it in. Great company. Grüße aus Köln nach Berlin :-)
Bonus tip, if anyone is wondering how to change the voice, speech rate, etc, you can change that in your system settings on your computer. Since the accessibility features uses the system speech from the computer itself, there is not a way to change voice settings from the Native Instruments controller.
cool to know. was wondering about this.
cool video. nice overview. may have to check this out.
NI Rocks!
I’m proud of you dear native instruments great would be a way only for the Kontakt 7 player that it works like that to change sounds with a key on the of our a midi key
beautiful. Is this supported by all Komplete Kontrol series? the A and S and M? or
Admirable accessibility features. Ironic when you consider the inaccessible power button on the S88Mk2 (when on a studio desk drawer).
Hello Ni team.
I just got a Komplete Kontrol M32 and I’m so excited to use it along side my Maschine Mikro.
Is it possible to open the Komplete Kontrol software, as a plugin inside of the Maschine software, so I can activate the accessibility feature on the keyboard please?
When inside Maschine, all that appears are,
None, Internal and Native Instruments, when I try opening VST.
Only Kontact and Reactor comes up.
Your assistance will be so great.
Thanks.
Many thanks for this! I recently bought an s49 mk2 and komplete standard to use with accessibility mode in Logic Pro.
I waited to set things up until NI updated Native Access to support Apple m2 chips.
Now I can browse presets as outlined in this video, but when I click the large encoder or “load preset” button, I hear the feedback “the software has opened a dialog” and all s49 feedback stops and no notes play. It seems like no preset is loaded.
I have tried with logic’s plug-in control view enabled and disabled to no avail. Anyone know of a setting I may be missing or a known issue?
On a new MacBook Air running Monterey. Many thanks!

Are the current new series of keyboards available on native instruments accessible with this feature?
That is awesome! ❤
My play/record/ and other buttons on the left play a sound instead of actually doing the function they’re supposed to.
I never changed them, it just kinda happened one day.
Sucks because I have to go back and forth between keyboard and laptop instead is using the keyboard alone.
Can the Komplete Kontrol M32 be used in combonation with Maschine Accessibility Helper app, for blind Maschine users?
Thanks in advance.
Does this work in Reaper for Windows? I just downloaded Reaper last night and I want to get an A series keyboard but I just want to be sure all of this works together before making a purchase. Thanks for any help. 🙏
Hi, have the same accessibility with the mk3? or accessibility best with the mk3 or it's the same mk2? thanks!
Note to other visually impaired viewers:
This video specifically pertains to the S-series, not the A or M series.
I did a video on that functionality in a similar style to this video. That can be found here: ruclips.net/video/rd9SMcTgffo/видео.html
Thanks, that was exactly what I was wondering. Whether using an S cerise, or an a in this demo.
Does the M32 have these accessibility features? Or just the A and S series?
Hi there, were you perhaps able to find out, if the M32 is compatable with the Komplete Kontrol Accessibility features?
I’m using a Mikro MK3, and hoping the M32 will provide better access in Maschine software.
my piano is mute only plays on speakers. keyboard is on but keys don't make any noise
That doesn't sound right. Can you please get in touch with our support team so we can have a look? bit.ly/n1kontrol
Please fix to Raum & Replika XT! When i drag to audio or midi channel , Ableton Live crashing, freezing. This situation happening only with Raum & Replika XT. (Btw i tried vst2 & vst3 version , same results)

Are there plans to update the Komplete Kontrol plugin GUI? It's extremely small and uncomfortable to work with.
Thank you for the feedback. We're constantly working to improve our product and rest assured this feature is on our radar. 🙏
Hello, I’m waiting for the NATIVE M1 version and a way to resize the window of the software
Thanks for the feedback. 🙏 Regarding M1, Komplete Kontrol already offers a native M1 support. Please see more details here: bit.ly/3RdLJz7
DO NOT BUY THE MK3 THERE IS NO ACCESSIBILITY.
I have been waiting many years for a manufacturer of midi and hardware keyboards to implement accessibility for vision impaired and blind musicians. After listening to this vid I started saveing and 8 months later I finally got the money together and purchased the MK3 that came out during this time. However the MK3 has no accessibility implemented that left me floored as the only thing the MK3 offers me over my RP500 is a better feeling keybed. I have messaged Native instruments twice and still no reply, this adds to my very expensive frustration in Australia this is a $1300.00 frustration for the MK3 S61. I have been in contact with the music store that I purchased this from and they have contacted the suppliers and still nothing. The MK3 has been out for 6 months now, Where is the accessibility functionality for the MK3? This is the first time a product has had accessibility implemented in older versions and the latest and greatest has nothing to work with, this would be like Apple not including Siri in it's devices. The other frustrating thing is while waiting for the keyboard to be delivered I had purchased the spotlight Ireland software instrument so more money down the drain so far. Not happy Jan.
I understand. I just made the mistake of buying an s61 this week with no accessibility.
