    You can use a tablet like an iPad or other to make music. Or your phone as well. There are great apps that do a lot for making music.

    Hello, Is there a way to disable the influence of the Komplete Kontrol 61 Keyboard modulation wheel for ONLY ONE instrument in a Multi? I'm trying to use the Baritone Saxophone from Factory Library 2 but can't seem to 'switch off' the tremolo. Thanks

    Great info! However I don’t think it’s good to tell people you don’t need much ram and saying 8GB is enough. When you start off you might not need much, but soon enough you’ll find yourself coming into a more creative space and needing more instruments to build upon which can rack up ram pretty quickly. I think 32GB ram should be good if you’re taking it seriously

    I never played any instrument in my life, but i am having so many ideas that i must bring at least one of them to life. I don't know how to read notes neither how they actually sound. Do i still have a chance to start without this knowledge?

      I use a Kingston 1 tb external ssd, it’s on Amazon. It’s pretty fast. No problems or glitches also.

      I've got the Sandisk Extreme SSD 1TB and it performs phenomenally. Would recommend.

      Definitely Sandisk Extreme SSD and if you have a huge sound collection i'd go with 4 TB to future proof.

      Garage Band, Apple's free DAW is a good choice I believe.

    Mac has iOS and monopoly on the hardware, but very expensive and restricted. But you can get a purpose build PC for music at half the price.

    • @TheFrankiejay
      @TheFrankiejay Год назад

      You could build your pc and then be lumbered with incompatibilities and lots of time solutionising. With Apple, it just works. It’s all about choices at the end of the day. Just a thought.

    N.I. guy says:
    "When composing, THE ULTIMATE GOAL is to be able to write music for visual media".
    Sorry but, what kind of statement is that ???
    When I compose music, my ultimate goal is to tune-in inward and listen to my intuitive guidance, and tap into the non-linear wisdom of the universe in order to channel a slice of musical truth.
    It is NOT to "compose" music for some corporate video...
    Brahms has probably turned around in his grave by now...
    :o/
