- Well this video took way to long to finish...
All this footage is several months old and most likely at least 2 patches behind. But whatever! it's finally done!
Chapters:
0:00 Intro
0:33 The Graverobber
4:04 The Leper
7:04 The Shieldbreaker
11:37 The Man-at-Arms
So! The build! and yes, despite there being 4 characters in this video there is in fact only one build, just switching out gear and changing appearance between them.
At first I just wanted to make a few Darkest Dungeon inspired Characters
(starting with the Graverobber) but then I realized while putting together their gear, that a majority of the DD Roster could probably all work on a simple strength build.
Lvl 137
(although some clips are from earlier levels, this is where the build sits now)
Vigor 60
Mind 16
Endurance 30
Strength 60
Dexterity 16
Intelligence 10
Faith 12
Arcane 12
All Weapons Heavy Infused of course
and all characters had Bull-Goat's talisman, Starscourge Heirloom
and Shard of Alexander once it was available
Key Ingredients for each build:
The Graverobber
Mainhand Pickaxe with Quickstep
Offhand Lordsworn Straight Sword with Piercing Fang
Poison Throwing Darts and Poison Weapon Incantation
Kindred of Rot's Exultation Talisman
Evasive with high burst damage linked in with some poison effects
I quite like how this one turned out.
The Leper
Mainhand Watchdog's Greatsword with Stamp (Upward Cut)
Bloodflame weapon Incantation mostly just to look scary
Big Sword. Big Damage. Hyperarmor. Simple as.
The Shieldbreaker
Mainhand Partisan with Spectral Lance
softswapping between
Offhand Round Shield with Barricade Shield
and Offhand Coil Shield with it's snake bite
Poison weapon Incantation
Kindred of Rot's Exultation
Again very quick and evasive (as a result of lightroll) and Poison based.
but with more of a focus on shield antics.
Mechanically I think this one is pretty interesting but the Partisan never felt natural to me personally though.
The Man-at-Arms
Mainhand Morningstar with War Cry
hardswapping between 2 Scorpion Kite Shields
one with Shield Bash and the other with Carian Retaliation
Roar Medallion
Really simple, but really fun.
The Shield mixup can be very unexpected (not that most people will have ever even seen somebody using shield bash in the first place)
------------------------------------------------------------------
I have some clips from other characters, but not enough to make a full video.
and I haven't played ER in a while now either, but this video was sitting 75% complete so I figured I'd finish it. I'll probably return to Elden Ring eventually (probably when the DLC comes out)
All Music is from Darkest Dungeon's Soundtrack
The Intro Art splash screen and the Affliction graphic near the end were both drawn by me. (with my hands, no AI trash.)
All other art is directly from Darkest Dungeon.
Whoever that last player I invaded was at the end if you ever somehow see this I guess you now have art of your character drawn in the Darkest Dungeon style
...all for a 2 second joke lol.

These are all fantastic builds. You really capture the essence of Darkest Dungeons' characters and the audio is superb.
Know that you have brought honor to those who walk the path of our families ruin, I am truly grateful for your dedication to making darkest dungeon builds as only the few og's talk about the amazing game
This deserves a lot more views than it’s getting, hope the algorithm helps you out soon, this is great and you deserve to blow up
Funny, I did this too but with Flagellant, Crusader and Man-at-Arms. But my man at arms had the eccentrics set. The throwing knife weapon they teased in the dlc trailer would be perfect for grave robber.
I actually have a flagellant built and have a few invasions already recorded, I just don't know if I should wait and try to get more invasions with the other DD characters I'm working on (Jester, Occultist, etc) for another compilation video like this or just release shorter single character videos.
I'm kinda also waiting for the dlc to see if it brings new items that would bring some of these other character builds together or add that perfect finishing touch. just gonna have to wait and see!
Why the hell have I found this only while specifically looking for DD builds for Elden Ring? This legit should have trended the day it came out.
Ingenious ability interpretations and use of Ancestor's lines, good choice of clothes and of course epic humiliation of multiple hunters. The spare on poor bastard at the end is just a chef's kiss too
Thanks!
honestly I think part of the reason this video hasn't done well is because it's so long,
I've considered just breaking it up and re-releasing the individual character segments as their own videos.
Sounds like a good idea! Would be easier for you to create smaller videos for the other characters, too. Hope to see those someday :)
This deserves more views for sure, great edit btw
I'm so glad I found this video, it's terrific! Love the editing touches and the thumbnail artwork.
Great video!
Amazing edit❤❤❤
Yo this was sick, take my sub
What happens when 2 goated communities merge
awesome video! will we see the other characters in another video?
Maybe, I have ideas for more characters that would fit on this same Strength build
(Bounty Hunter, Vestal, Crusader, Hellion)
but I also started getting stuff for others on my Arcane build
(Flagellant, Jester, Houndmaster, Occultist)
I just need to put them together and get some good invasions,
Though I don't think I'll make a video quite this long again lol.
The idea was to have a little group of 4 but this video just took way too long,
so going forward I might just do little single character videos.
Now how do we do Plague Doctor...
@@VultureXV Been thinking about it, fashionwise I dunno if I should use the new gravebird helm for the beak or the old skeletal mask for the hood.
I also experimented with using the confessor hood and morphing my character's face into a white beak shape but I never got it to look quite right.
Mechanically though I'd definitely use the new Perfume Weapons.
@@vennicerunnos
Should use deadly poison perfume +kindred of rot talisman for PD's buff
Or bloodboil if you feel confident enough.
Who is the plague doctor?
I don't have a plague doctor in this video but I did try putting together some of a build for one,
I just need a good helmet for the mask. Maybe Bloodhound Knight's Helm? I dunno if there's a better option.
@@vennicerunnos marionette helmet
I care about the outfits. Could please share them?
Sure!
keep in mind that between clips I'm sometimes wearing different boots or gloves for different equip loads or poise values just because I'm experimenting as I play with the builds
but I try to keep the chest piece and headgear consistent.
that said I'll list mostly what I think are the best fits look-wise not necessarily stat-wise
For The Graverobber
Alberich's Pointed Hat
Vulgar Militia Armor
Warrior Gauntlets or Vagabond Knights Gauntlets
(Warriors are one of the only fingerless gloves in the game I could find, Vagabond have one fingerless and one gauntleted)
Leather boots or Vulgar Militia Greaves
For The Leper
Mask of Confidence
Bloodhound Knight Armor
Lionel's Gauntlets or Knight's Cavalry Gauntlets
Battlemage Legwraps
For ShieldBreaker
Nomadic Merchant's Chapeau
Gravekeeper Cloak (Altered)
Warrior Gauntlets
Radahn's Greaves
For The Man-At-Arms
No Helmet
Knight Armor
(I'm usually using Bull-Goats here just to make up for poise lost by not wearing a helmet but any of the higher poise armored Gauntlets would work)
and Lionel's Greaves
@@vennicerunnos Thanks King
