Nice video and guide. But sadly you only showed attributes until lvl 150. I am level 280 right now and I really want to try this build. What do you recommend for attributes? And I should go for the quality/Str Nagakiba, right?
Love your videos, especially since I'm not an Elden Ring veteran. Stats for the levels, talisman choices and everything with locations make your guides awesome! Keep it up! I will certainly try more of your builds now, because I started playing seamless coops with friends. It's alot of fun and your guides help us alot!
Excellent! As a new player trying to find accurate up to date information is a nightmare with all of the patches nerfing or buffing equipment. I was searching to see if the guardian mask was still good for a bleed build when lo and behold I find this excellent video. Not only do I see you have the mask, but your build is almost completely like mine so I'm learning how to tweak my set. Dual wield, nagakiba with bloodflame and golden vow, frost katana in the left hand. Great video
I’m very blown away by the quality of this video. I have never seen a build explained so well. I get so bored by non-dex/slower builds. I’m excited to use this.
I’m usually a timid dark souls player. I usually just have 2 weapons in rotation (which obliterates the enemies). I finally built the confidence to start “experimenting” and double wielded katanas. Wayyy different playstyle. Not such a good idea practicing in the haligtree area, but it’s so much fun.
Stepping out of our comfort zone is where true growth begins. Embracing new playstyles adds depth to your experience. Keep pushing your boundaries and enjoy the journey! Praise the sun.
yo is bloodflame blade incantation with keen double slash nagakiba better or occult double slash nagakiba for bleed damage? It’s a shame you can’t use bloodflame blade with occult so I was wondering, I’m tryna beat malenia but I’m malding so bad
This means you should have Rotten Winged Sword Insignia, Shard of Alexander, and Lord of Blood's Exultation. For the last slot, I suggest "Dragoncrest Greatshield Talisman". This reduces Physical Damage taken, by 20%. If you are looking to squeeze more damage, "Ritual Sword Talisman" raises attack power by 10% when HP is at maximum. If you are not using Greenburst Crystal Tear in the Flask of Wondrous Physick yet, use Green Turtle Talisman to increase your stamina regen. Lastly, you can also utilize the Great-Jar's Arsenal to reduce your equipment load and be able to wear more protective armor for better damage-taking negation.
Hey friend, as a traditionally STR or INT player, I was timid in attempting this build. After 45+ minutes of searching online, I came across your video- Brother, this is *the shit*. I don’t mean just the build, your Video organization, editing, information and presentation are amazing. I have a question though, in most Bleed builds I see, ARC is usually leveled up pretty high. Does this build not necessitate a high ARC? Thank you in advance dude!
This was the build I made on my first playthrough. I was just experimenting and I just finished Bloodborne. So that play style crossed over pretty well.
New tarnished here, I'm yet to find a video which demonstrates and explains a build and it's upgrade/progression path (L50-L182) like this. W and GG! 💯
Yo, i've been started with dual uchigatana arcane build is it worth to reset my stats and play with that build? And my second question is it still works like that?
I'm sorry for taking so long to get back to you. I honestly can't answer the first portion of your question. However, the build still performs exactly like I'm showcasing. it's up to you whether it's worth switching to or not.
I really like your build . I am new to elden ring ,it is my first soul game . i found your video by chance and i tried your blood fire ronin build on my first playthrough and it worked!! I came back here to say thank you. Now i am going to try different build on your channel .. ps. I am not native english speaker if i write something wrong (grammar or etc.),i am very sorry for that.
Nice job I have one thing to say tho and this is for those who go down this path: maybe increase Mind to be able to use consecutive helpful bits of FP to effectively use, Flame Grant me Strength and your Ash for as long as needed or to rebuff. That is my one thing I would change because its useful in a pinch (saying from experience).
80 Dexterity is the final soft cap for Keen-infused weapons before the hard cap at 99. You can obviously continue to invest in Dexterity beyond 80 but that will yield smaller gains. I have been using an incredibly useful chart made by a Reddit user for quite some time. You can check it out if you are keen to learn more about attributes breakpoints. www.reddit.com/r/Eldenring/comments/tc3lyy/helpful_charts_for_offensive_stat_scaling/
this build is very good and fun, but I like to use the unsheat ash of war because I think it's fun, with this you use the shard of Alexandre talisman, Lord of bloods exultation, and the other two I use great-jar's arsenal and bull-goats because I wear light armor and need poise, but I would use quality of life talismans like stamina regeneration or more life because Millicent's prosthetic won't give much of a buff to the skill.
That's an interesting approach for a Samurai build. Unsheathe L2+R2 is fast and deals good poise damage. I will likely try that with items that boost poise damage like Stonebarb Cracked Tear.
This guide is soo good, i remember trying to figure out what to lvl up in stats but every guide didnt show shit, im max lvl now for all dmg stats but fuck i wish i had this video when i started, u explain shit soo well and really go into detail and i appreciate it, you have earned another sub
It's still good. If you get most of these early game, you'll be good until spectral Godfrey. Only then I see it fit to go above level 100. I'm currently in Crumbling Farum Azula and that place sucks.
Hi, thank you for this guide, it really helped me complete the game. Whole build was OP and fun for me :). I already finished first game and started with the new game+. I also obtained hand of malenia. I am now on lvl 155. Which weapon would be great for the second run ? Continue with hand of malenia or keep nagakiba ? In the first run I used dragon seal in left and nagakiba +25 in right hand. The best option is use uchigatana and nagakiba ? Thanks
Keep using the Nagakiba, the reach of the weapon is just too good to pass on. You can just use the Hand of Malenia in the left hand to use the Waterfowl Dance skill from time to time to keep things fresh. You can also make some investment in Arcane (~45) and start using Rivers of Blood as your main weapon instead of the Nagakiba. Thanks for watching and gl on your 2nd playthrough.
Thanks for your advises @@KimoChaser I started 2nd run with two nagakibas in left hand with cold and in right hand with keen. Should I changed it from keen to quality ? Yes I also thought about invest in arcane and using of Rivers of blood.

Hey there, thank you so much for watching. I truly apologize if I ended up giving away more than I should've - sometimes I forget that there are folks just starting their journey with ER. I've been immersed in this world for about a year and a half, so it's a slip on my part. Your point is well taken, and I'll definitely be more cautious going forward.
This looks amazing. new to Elden Ring and this build is exactly what im going for. question, how is your FP barely going down while using Double Slash when you only have 11 points in Mind?
Once you beat Morgot and reach Zamor ruins, you'll discover that Shabriri has already claimed Yura's lifeless body. You can just go ahead and take him out right there to snag his badass armor. Yura was gonna kick the bucket anyway in his questline, but we're just speeding things up to get that sweet Nagakiba sooner.
Hey Kimo. If you were to use Rivers of blood with this build would you go with Rives as your primary or secondary?. And Would you level both arcane and dexterity equally close to each other?.
If I were to use Rivers of Blood, it would definitely be my main weapon (right-hand armament). You can pair it with the Nagakiba or Uchigatana in your off-hand, infusing them with either Blood or Occult affinities. Rivers of Blood excels in high Arcane builds, so I would start by investing in Arcane up to 60, then increase Dexterity to around 56 (the first soft cap for Dexterity). After that, I would simultaneously raise both attributes to 80.
@@KimoChaser Thanks so much for the answer. However I was wondering would you keep the stats pretty similar to the video or would you do change it in any major way?.
Thanks so much I am loving this build! I was wondering for some tips for button combos or how you approach playing. Do you use l1 or l2? I’m not sure the best way to take down enemies and do a lot of damage. Any help on button combos or style of play would be helpful!!
Thx for this. Looks like so much fun!Coming back to the game and gonna rock this build. Just curious to why swap from keen to quality affinity and lowering Dex and higher strength for the beyond 150 section?
I kinda touched on this in the video 16:25. Eventually, you will not gain any more attack power with the keen affinity because of the dexterity hard cap at 99. Because of that, you switch to quality affinity and boost both strength and dexterity.
Very well-made video. You have a new sub. Getting back in Elden Ring after a long break. I never used katanas in my many runs of the game and now I want to finaly try it. Thanks
Could you tell me how my attribute scaling should look like at around lvl 215 please You changed from keen to quality with your right hand nagakiba. I got that. What about the left hand? Remains cold? Great video btw love this build!
Amazing guide and i've followed mostly for my first playthrough! I had a question tho! I want to use the rivers of blood katana RH and nagakiba maybe with seppuku in LH, how should I adapt my stats to it? Thank you once again and I hope you find lots of success!
Nice build, i used this for my early malenia fights. Got her beaten in under 10 tries! I thought i might stuck there a little longer after seeing so many people struggle.
Loving this build, unsure about one thing, though. At level 200, would I use Hand of Malenia in my main hand and a Quality Nagakiba in the off-hand, or would the Cold Nagakiba be better? Thanks again for the build, great editing on this video too!
You can't use Bloodflame Blade buff on your Nagakiba if it's in you off-hand (left armament). If you want to stay true to the original build, go with the Quality Nagakiba in your main-hand and cold/blood infused Ochigatana or another Nagakiba in your off-hand.
Thank you so much for your video! It was so helpful and got me past my mid game lul! However I have only just beat Morgott and so I do not have access to the Rotten Winged Sword Insignia, and a couple others.. Do you have any advice on which ones to use in the meantime? :)
yo heavy affinity will grand you higher AR at higher levels cause of the 2 hand scaling bonus at around level 150 and probably before that. This is the case on a lot of weapons.
That is true if you are two-handing the Nagakiba but I was dual-wielding with the Uchigatana. It's still a good strategy to just go with a single katana but I wanted the double katana movesets.

If I'm dual weilding the uchi and nagakiba, should I use a different talisman than shard of alexander, since its only effective if my main attack is the double slash ash of war? if so, which one?

Used this build as my first playthrough, thank you. Swapped it to a flame art duel katana build for Radabeast, for everything else it was amazing.
Nice work!

Super nice video, but would Flame, Grant me strength be good for this build?
If I'm dual weilding the uchi and nagakiba, should I use a different talisman than shard of alexander, since its only effective if my main attack is the double slash ash of war? if so, which one?
I still remember the fashion i used bare in mind this was when the game first came out I ran a dragon spell build, was like a dragon/bleed arcane mix the outfit i ran was Iron Kasa Drakeblood armor samurai legs and iron gauntlets gave off a really good dragon samurai vibe
شكلك من مصر يا باشة
very good! Especially the transition to Hand of Malenia👍🏾
I cant play Elden Ring because of hardware issues, but I love the game and this build is gold
You don’t need to go to murkwater cave and fight the invader you can just go straight to the seaside ruins to find him
