      Good afternoon, could you put in evidence the church organ voices of this marvellous pa5x, please?? I would like to listen to these samples and, if possible, human voices and choir( not scat, however). Thanks very much already now for you'll make!! Greetings🤗🤗

    Here's my very first impression as I start to watch this video (and I'm open to others' comments about this): "What's with the big black speaker on top??"
    From the view of the front camera, the Korg's black speaker completely blocks any view of all its beautiful notes, colored buttons, AND the player's hands! Performers who livestream using one camera placed in front of the keyboard, or who perform live before an audience directly in front of us, NEED our viewers to see our hands touching the keys while we play. And if we are teaching or demonstrating, we also want the audience to see which buttons and keys we touch while performing. And those of us who have a deep desire to impress people with all the colored lights and 100+ buttons on our arranger keyboards, have this need too. (Hey, we can't all be pilots, right? This is the next best thing to flying a jet, and in some ways it's equally impressive especially when the final result is beautiful music!). Seriously, without people seeing our hands, there is some degree of mental blockage between our viewers and us. I'm surprised that Korg created this black speaker monstrosity.
    Question: Does Korg offer smaller left and right speakers (and perhaps a subwoofer) for the Pa5X series, that connect to the left and right rear of the keyboard, like the Tyros and Genos have? These type of smaller speakers don't block the view of the keyboard (from the front), thus enabling viewers to see our hands while we play,
    If so, do they project loud and accurate sound? Many of us play for small audiences, and we just want to toss our 61-note arranger keyboard into the back of our car, drive to our friends' living room (or small church conference room, etc), but we don't want to carry a stereo P.A. system around with us. Will the Korg's keyboard speaker system project well to a small audience sitting in front of us? (For example Yamaha advertises that its PSR SX900 built-in speakers project well toward the audience, not just up into the performer's ears like most arranger keyboards)? Just curious.
    (fyi I'm a mostly-Yamaha guy who's owned 18 arranger keyboards since 1994, including Roland E-86, Ketron SD1, Tyros 5-76, and 14 portable arranger keyboards, mostly Yamaha).

      Korg created the speaker system (PAaS) to be connected wirelessly, so the only option was to have a full unit that can be easily attached to the back of the keyboard. This design reduces setup time for gigging musicians. The speaker is meant for the keyboard player, not so much from the audience. If you want a system that prioritizes built in speakers (for both you and the audience) without the need for an external one, you may want to look at the SX-900/700 from Yamaha or the PA700/1000 from Korg. The PA700/1000 series will be updated shortly from Korg once they have implemented all the new features that they are planning and fixed any bugs on the PA-5X.

      @@ablesam Ah.. I was wondering if/when my PA1000 would be updated with the 5x technology. I'm looking forward to the next 'Pa1000" and hope the piano sounds have been improved!

    • @ablesam
      @ablesam Год назад

      @@daveslastchance Hi there Dave, I wouldn't recommend sticking around for too long waiting for a successor for the PA1000/700 if your current requirements need a new solution.
      The PA5X will take some time to mature and all the new features we have been waiting for will take a bit of time to be implemented.
      As for your piano sound, I recommend checking out a sound module called the Dexibell SX-8. An inexpensive solution which doesn't compromise the sound of various acoustic instruments including piano, electric piano, organ (tone-wheel to traditional pipe organs) and string/pad sounds. You can connect the SX-8 to your Pa1000 via MIDI and trigger the sounds from the module.

    • @daveslastchance
      @daveslastchance Год назад

      @@ablesam interesting. thanks. I'm not familiar with mating other midi, etc., with my Pa1000. So, could I use a single piano sound from the SX-8 as one of the sounds in my Pa-1000, and keep other sounds from the Pa1000 like strings, pads, etc..?

    • @ablesam
      @ablesam Год назад +1

      @@daveslastchance You can trigger the sound of the piano from the SX-8 and keep the remaining sounds from the PA1000. With the SX-8, you can trigger up to 3 sounds layered together and then use the 3 remaining layers on your Pa1000. All in all, 6 layers + 1 split from the Pa100.
      There are video manuals on the Dexibell RUclips page showing you how you can set up the SX-8.

    Hello. Has anyone brought up the midi issues with Korg Pa5x? I am using my 5x with an external sampler via midi to trigger certain sampled loops from the external sampler. It works OK but as soon as the keyboard set (sound library) is changed, additional samples or loops get triggered also. It seems like even when you turn off the midi out channels assigned to Upper 1, Upper 2, Upper 4 and Lower off, they still sent signal on Midi. This was working perfectly on Korg Pa4x. Any suggestions? Thank you.

    Hello, I am desperately trying to find out which instrument I should choose. I need an arranger keyboard that plays styles to make seniors dance : Waltz, tango, cha-cha, salsa, madison, scottish, bachata, disco 70's + 80's, twist, rock'n'roll 50's ...
    - I do NOT play modern music (Rap, house, techno, etc.)
    - I don't need a pad, a muffled trumpet, articulated sounds, etc, etc, etc.
    - Synth sounds are useless for what I do.
    - I just need an arranger keyboard that offers the BEST PLAYED styles and invites seniors to DANCE.
    I hesitate between Pa5X, Genos or Ketron.
    What do you offer me please?
