If only it also can detect the chords played on the guitar, well - how awesome it is. I used GP-10 and via computer we can control any arranger keyboard - still waiting for less or no hassle guitar set up. Please let us know when you find it from KORG. Thanks n Cheers!

Thank you. Of course you can record it inside. There are also Bass effects inside.

@@simplygroove No. You can record guitar and pa5x sound to only one track audio
kann man auch eine Akustik-Gitarre mit Klinken-Ausgang (oder USB-Ausgang) anschließen?
Can you set the guitar output to 1 and 2? This way you do not crowd the L and R outputs when you also use the pa x and the guitar.

Hey Korg Akai MPC 61 key has enetered the market n raised d bar ....Isn't it time for Korg to upgrade d Pa series to be able to do more professional studio grade work by incorporating a fully functional editable high quality audio recording section instead of mp3? Kronos has 16track audio which can be added to d Pa5x or Pa6x.
If u scared adding fully functional audio cost may increase d cost of d workstation ...you can revive one of Korg previous audio workstation (Korg D 8 or 16, D 24 etc) exclusive audio mixer workstation with special sync functionality to be sold separately. Those who prefer could buy separately. That if Korg wants to b on top of this competition.

Thank you. Of course you can connect your Bass. You can find also bass presets in Pa5X.
You play that Ax like Carlos Santana. That's an amazing workstation, wish it wasn't 5K Jesus. Let it sink in that I can buy a Gibson Les Paul and a premium one for 2K less than this plastic machine, but all in all it's pretty nice, but I'm a Roland fanboy, and I'm pretty content with computer mixing and mastering. I'll stick to my 50 year old analogs and 40 year old FMs, and an old school mixing station. FL, Pro Tools, Cubase, GarageBand are much better investments, and despite what snobs say, you can bearly hear a different between VSTs and the real thing. Bottom line is, I could fart in a microphone, run it through FL Studio and make a 5 minute track out of it, and you'll like it, and never know it was a fart at conseption. Very cool machine, and you have some nice skills on that guitar.
LOL, I agree with you but you must accept the fact that there are people that love performing music rather than writing music. And I disagree with Korg that it's a music production machine, no it is not. I have Cubase and I have sample libs and I still have Tyros 5. When I need to write, I turn my DAW on and start writing. When I need to enjoy live playing with styles, I turn my Genos on. Each has its own application my man. But you're defo right, it's bloody expensive much like Genos.

I thought this was already possible even as far back as the Pa3x.
Not really. In PA5X, you have two entire dedicated signal paths with up to 4 efx each for the Vocal and Guitar inputs.

I bought a Korg pa5x last year and now I tried to connect the guitar or another instrument into the input but nothing happened no sound at all.
This is worst keyboard ever.
I had many Yamaha keyboards previously without issues.
