I can't imagine how terribly sad but amazingly awesome it must be to sit in that studio. Sad cause your Dad loved it and amazingly awesome cause your Dad loved it. To be able to be where he spent so many hours doing what he loved most. Millions of people would give everything just to sit in that studio. Make the best of it. Love it like he would have. I hope you have the same passion for it as he did. I would say keep his spirit and music alive, but it is immortal already. His music will be passed down for generations to come. Awesome. We all loved and miss Chris Cornell the musician. Like all the greats he could find the words and the tones to let us know that we're not alone. You and those closest to him miss the man himself, something that we only glimpsed, something only you and yours could know fully. The loss goes on for each of us to its commensurate depth, but then his voice comes breaking out out of the speakers and the joy goes on too.

Now I'm wondering how much I've missed! Not a knock on the great bands I listened to (and still do). But great bands from the 1990's add so much to what great music is all about. Hunger Strike is one of my top 5 songs of ALL time. And you performed it very well---not a carbon copy but your own version---and it was done spot on...
