    I know there are many videos with tips and so on on this topic, but you manage to stand out from the crowd. You really have a talent. Getting to the point. And you do it with style. Your examples just sound interesting. I really thank you. I am enjoying this video immensely. If I had one, I just wish more of these logical insider instruments tips.... Thanks for this.

      Thanks so much for your kind words and the suggestion. Absolutely, more of those videos are on the way in the coming weeks and months.

    Very interestingly explained by one of the best Logic teachers out there! 👍🏻💪🏻👏🏻

    Hurray, long awaited! 🎉 This kind of subtle complexity is exactly what I have been looking for ways to achieve lately. Thanks so much! Keen to see part 2…

    Ah-ha, a bit of clarity on the Sculpture instrument. I’ve been overwhelmed by this critter; your information helps. It’s getting to be my new favorite stock plugin. Fun! WTH

      Glad to hear that. It's a gem, hiding beneath some 'what?' I'll keep coming back to it, so expect some more videos in the coming weeks and months. Thanks!

    I don't have any witty, charming and delightful comments to make on this video. Suffice to say I enjoyed it. Sculpture ( and Alchemy) are my two favourite things about Logic. They go deep and sometimes Brrrrrrrrrrr. :)

    • @jonobuchananmusic
      @jonobuchananmusic  Год назад +1

      They sure do. And occasionally, they even do 'fschwaooooow-zzzz'. Which everyone knows is the best synth sound you can make.

    Great stuff Jono. I have been a logic user for ... lets say .. a while.. but sculpture just never surfaced. I have the perfect use for its 'accompanying ability' in a project so I am off to experement immediately. Many thanks.

    I hadn't touched sculpture with a 10 foot pole owing to the UI, but feeling equipped to have a go now... The whole concept of having a virtual 'string' that you can then manipulate in certain ways is completely nuts - had no idea that's what it was doing.
    It's really interesting how the interface of this (and some other unnamed logic instruments...) act as a time capsule for apple's design practices. The graphics must have seemed so cool and futuristic, but with absolutely zero thought to ease of use...

      I know what you mean and I’ve certainly laid into the GUI designs of several Logic effects over the years (Multipressor?!?!) but I’ve always really liked the Sculpture interface, for some reason. It’s definitely an instrument unlike any other in the Logic suite, capable of utterly brilliant sounds. I’m very glad to hear this episode (and do check out Part 2 as well) has piqued your interest.

    Very cool and creative. I will experiment with synth Modul. Maybe it’s a little bit like NI Prism.

    Fantastic tutorial. Thanks mate. I am just unable to find the previous Sculpture videos that you are referencing in this video. Could you please add a link for those in the description? Cheers.

    Hi I have read this so many times about this topic Crossfade sample groups in Logic Pro for Mac Sampler
    You can use the crossfade (Xfade) parameters to crossfade between layered groups-by velocity or by key range.
    but cannot find any videos on this topic help please
    This would be on Logic Muilt Sampler
