      The mouth that opens til halfway down its body is an interesting touch however. Makes this a non-standard dragon atleast.

      Yeah. It's not just the graphics either. Gameplay is crazy easy and simplistic. Hallway linearity. Story pacing is all over the place. Etc.
      Shame because they actually had a good idea but they rushed to get it out and the game ended up suffering because of it.

      Very sure it would normally be the opposite with a extremely unoptimized game like Pokemon Scarlet/Violet in place of kingdom hearts 3, if you were to go by that original line setup instead. Since i would think eldritch graphics cartoon like graphic mangling certainly looks better then poor man`s attempt to do a weird low poly style for gameplay but forgetting how the fk Low polygon design or extra visual design usually with gradiants or some painting like filter put on top of the character models to give the same design style of valkyria chronicles games went for that made them such a visual appeal`age.
      Never the less this game feels like its trying to imitate Final Fantasy `interpretation art` with the character portraits too much when it really be better off by NOT having them at all, probably going with more simplistic style `anime` portraits instead. That or just simply go with regular damn 3D models instead so they could of took an insomnium files approach to character convo bits.
      While also thinking to succ whatever budget it did have out of the graphics quality since not only do they look on the poorer side of a playstation portable level graphics they have this weird handling of stylization like they leaned too damn hard on certain shaders so things like the lips and eyes look too ridiculous.
      Throw in the fact its throwing way too many numbers all over the place and the gameplay looks way too dull especially when i ATTEMPTED to play the demo itself, this game wouldnt even be worth it even if it hit 90% off.
      Which i know lowest cost several year old game remakes of a collection of games that still look fking good despite being playstation 2 era games that got brushed up a bit. Dot hack G.U. Last Recode being the best example of such things. Best time waster for several weeks when i got it for 5 bucks and had infinitely more fun then Visions of mana or even any of the assassin`s creed games i played in the past that were still the good ones, because it just had that good feels compared to alot of demos i keep running into.
      Now if only playstation would freaking put Card n Ciel`s demo on its store page because im having freaking fun with that on Steam and its one of those times im even considering investing in a steam deck to finally shy even MOAR away from from console play after i already ditched the switch over a year ago after how bad pokemon violet was for me and i couldnt even keep any groove of completing tears of the kingdom, due to its own particular annoyances in many other ways.

      Welcome to mobile game style approach design where they only have you control one character at a time, never bother to put the effort in for CPUs to have supporting party members and think graphics somehow worst then most BAD playstation portable VANILLA (not Vita) games end up looking even better somehow.
      Also with how they have the control scheme setup, you can see how they really wanted to copy final fantasy 16`s combat design approach except forget all the bits that make final fantasy 16 combat good for an action centric game with enjoyable simplicity and not some over complicated mechanic of a energy system to force you often into `resting` then actually being able to simutaneously be on the offensive while also avoiding attacks.

      @@soku330 Yeesh talk about zombie prodding a nearly 2 week old post.
      Regardless if its a new company, its very clear its a very unpolished mess of a game that came out FAR before this `global version` that soon to or just came out.
      Im not even getting indepth into the game mechanics because if i did, this game wouldnt even be on PS2 quality and would be a horribly done PS1 level game then.
      They could of took FAR BETTER short-cuts to not run into graphics issues by taking a more simplistic graphical approach, where instead they did things like fixed portraits instead of simply not having portraits at all, having character models with very Jarring eyes and power-point like cutscenes which really makes the difference between the apparently TWO OR SO PRE RENDERED CUTSCENES look way too off.
      Which if your pre rendered cutscenes and the actual ingame models look too off, especially when you should of had far more utility to work with, you would of been better off simply NOT having any pre-rendered cutscenes and focus more attention to polishing things like cutscene handling, (like not do some face from below, giving a full NIGHTMARE FUEL facial view of those terrible lips, nostrils and positioning of the eyes itself).
      Visual telling is important these days especially if your going to go for a more anatomically close design and bad camera angles and terrible visual design choices really gets in the way of making things appealing.
      Hell, im gonna assume they must of had a patent/copyright situation on why they didnt maybe think to lean closer to a kingdom hearts 1 or even TWEWY structure on character modeling, yet still wanted to try and copy TWEWY2`s style since they manage to get a collab like piece in but somehow they made even those collab characters look horribly out of place.
      Oh and now i HAVE to talk about the gameplay design choices because alot of things are just straight up ripped from TWEWY or just straight up leaned way too hard into similar elements
      1. Floatie magical combat effects, typically using iconography objects for super special moves, check.
      2. Focus on constantly roaming around to find things, except its more to work around a terrible `Notoriety` gauge system where it could of been better designed to simply increase how dangerous some enemies would be and increase the rewards. Instead they just straight up have a FK-YOU squad thrown in if you just straight up walk NEAR a enemy and gets exploitedly broken by simply changing areas and rises up too fast and doesnt really stick around some kind of residue notority as a proper consequence which comes off more as annoying then an actual integral part of the game.
      3. Extra annoying fluff mechanics that also come off as annoying and redundant like `Stress Levels`, which looks more like a pointless stupid system because they couldnt do something more creative like Yakuza`s alcohol system which causes problems with combat controls but attracts enemies alot more easily to go crazy on acquistion of goods. Instead its some attack buff/defense debuff that doesnt serve much purpose.
      4. Mobile game like combat flow that has no impact, feels more like your flying around like a ballerina and took Final Fantasy XV`s whole system of burning mana to dodge and instead make it an entire `passive` state you have to put yourself into, get a ridiculous means to push, hold and `release` to biotch slap a enemy for free mana and you cant use that while offensively...
      Honestly the system would of been better if you can use BOTH offense and defensive measures at the same time, just each state gives amplified effects, Where the defensive which would slow down enemies or a better telegraph before they attack (Just like Dozens and hundreds of actionie based games have done recently including MOBILE GAMES, since games like Bayonetta helped to popularize that shite).
      Where in offensive you dont get the generous defensive windows, but you can still `dodge` and recover mana, but you can also do reasonable damage, because if you attacked in defensive mode, your damage would be severely cut in turn for those defensive merits.
      Games that purposely take away typical combat flow by doing some weird system not for innovative purposes but by forcibly slugging the combat into a system of exploiting other stuff like swapping to other party members and what not to do a Sonic Adventure 2(or Sonic 2006) final boss situation of constantly swapping members to `have a full gauge`, which at that point, why the freak even have the defensive state in the first place? Just have it regenerate when your NOT attacking (just like STAMINA) and just give the ability to go into a `charging` state which leaves you more vulnerable at the cost of charging mana back up far faster (Just like Ki) and have it where you have to DRAIN SOME MANA for EZ mode parrying, so your actually punished for abusing the system by incorrectly timing it so it feels more risk and reward, then free biotch slapping a problem anyway.
      Moral of the story: Game needed way more dang polish, probably an extra year, because even at 50% off discount, i still dont see this game as that good. Which if it runs terribly sluggishly on switch then its already lost its chance of SOME value, because if you were to play it on a PC or playstation, all those visual problematic issues would really show up especially the art-design where they put too much effort in a number of things really looks way too off putting.
      Because they could of toned the freak down on the magical looking effects of the characters `unleashed forms` and maybe had MUCH MORE DAMN SIMPLIFIED WEAPONS, because the Male protagonist`s weapon looks way too goofie in a ridiculous manner when as far as i seen in the demo and some other gameplay, looks like they wanted to make a Edgie/Loner version of Sora from kingdom hearts more then a Yozora knock off somehow whenever i see that weapon can only be described as some copy-right dodging looking club saber something lance stick, seriously, thing could of been way more simple designed.
      And honestly for the `police force looking characters, they feel like they are trying to look too much like `anime-tized Raidou kuzonoha devil summoner looking outfits to me, to where even some trash grade anime i have seen over the years look like they have way better outfit designs because they dont look ridiculous in a number of ways which gets extra exhasberated by the bad visual handling especially when they go between the different states being some no transition, just swap character model goofie crap with some visual effects to `hide it` and then they got weird crap like `mana leaking from thar eyes` and other effects that look poorly stylized in too many ways that the story does not do much of a good job `summarizing` since it looked more like they were trying to go way too hard into making them look far different, when they just straight up have things like characters outfits seem to get several pounds of extra fabric and shoved LED displays all over thar cloths when they `change to liberation mode` as the best way to describe it.
      Seriously, thinking about this is just giving me too much brainrot and why i can only see this game as more of a 30 dollar `project`, that i would of ran into another wasting my damn 60 dollars towards if i didnt have a demo to properly see the problems with it.
      Since atleast mother fking MONARK and Calligula effect looked good on how they handled things way better then this goofy arse mess.

      @@BladeSerph yes but have you ever used Unity before? If you ever played one then the game is made by students. Unity games are never polished or serious for AAA games. It’s like saying try to make windows movie maker or Roblox to be a AAA level game to win goty
