Thanks for this. I blew my first attempt, but learned in the process.
    1. Don't do medium high, that's too high
Wanting to resist the temptation of fiddling, I walked away...
    2. Don't let it cook to carbonization, LOL.
Fortuneately, I only used a quarter can for my failed attempt. I'll do better next time.
I did one thing I think was right, if I hadn't burned it. After flipping, sprinkle some grated cheese and an egg on it.

DUDE thank you so much for this corn beef hash recipe. I was up ALL night trying to cook the perfect canned Corn Beef Hash for my Great Grandfather who is visiting from Ireland next week. I absolutely needed to get this down because... well... I LOVE my Great Grandpappy! And his favorite meal has always been canned Corn Beef Hash. When we would sit by the fire late at night, just me & him reading a book while music would play (haha sometimes he fell asleep and the music would play while I watched his belly go up and down breathing so deeply. I always was tempted to stick my finger in his belly button because his shirt never covered it fully while reclining in his sit... I did sometimes :P don't tell him...) he used to always tell me "Grandsonny, when I was fighting in vietNAM there was one thing that kept me going....... photographs of your grandmothers hushy and CANNED CORN BEEF HASH. GOD DAMN, I LOVED THAT SHIT SO MUCH AND IT CAME EVERY WEDNESDAY FROM SUPPLY CORPS, BUT EVERY THURSDAY IT WAS GONE BECAUSE HE ATE ALL OF IT (and stashed the rest under his bed in the bunker hehe) AND ONE LAST THING, DON'T EVER GO INTO BUSINESS WITH A JEW, OR AN ASIAN. YOU HEAR ME? Fuck, Nancy! Hey Nancy! Get in here, I think this little boy is playing with himself and he's squinting really hard at one of photographs from our family renioun photo album...."

At 800 calories per can, and a good amount of fat, carbs, and protein, it sounds like it’d be good options for prepers though. 4 cans could give 2 people enough calories for an entire day.

If you don't know how to poach simply heat a nonstick skillet to medium high, put a couple pats of butter and crack a couple eggs into the butter. Put a tablespoon of water in the pan cover and cook till done but leave the yolks runny.
