One of the most impressive things outside of the sheer speed of the pitches is how easy he makes it look. That is ridiculously hard to get up to triple digits and to do it nonstop, while having a motion that isn't really explosive in delivery, and have that ball fire towards the plate for actual strikes is insane.

Biggest thing I notice is how much shoulder hip speration I guess. And the fact for his already tall build, he's got proportionally really long arms. I'm assuming he's got a steel core too

The fact that they won 8 - 3 goes to show that, speed does not in fact kill, when it comes to Baseball. He has no command, just a lot of power, being that tall, not surprised.

Not taking anything away from him, but they recently started measuring the speed of the pitch as soon as it leaves the pitchers hand. Fastballs slow down approximately 9 to 10% as they cross the plate because of drag and other variables like atmospheric pressure - so 105 leaving the hand is approx. 95 at the plate. Still very impressive.

Dude WTF!?! They threw him 65 pitches out of the pen?? I don't care if it's a 1 run game (it was 5-6), that's INSANE. He's a reliever who was in his first season back from TJ, and he is the EPITOME of a guy who's at high risk for TJ. Has nothing to do with mechanics, the research just says velocity and throwing effort is what's most strongly correlated with TJ. This is one of the most egregiously neglectful things I've ever seen.
