😎👍 In my 2.0l Pug 306 Cabrio I had bad idle air control motor which I diagnosed right after I bought it as I did all the stuff from timing to oil changes, spark plugs etc., all this stuff and somehow idle rpm were constant, but rpms dropped veeery slowly, it would go up after pressing clutch between shifts and it like I would say "hold throttle" and jerk after like 1 second after I released throttle on lower rpms, but as I said...rpms was constant, 900-920 or so. After I put new one in which was easiest job ever it started to hold 1500-3000 and when I drove for a bit it went up and down between 1200 and 2500 rpms on neutral till I stopped, on gear it drove just fine, that was because it was not adapted so iac can cause rough idle easily. As it was old car, adaptation ment disconnect car battery for 10 seconds, then connect it, finished. I work as mechanic for living and repair mainly newer cars as they are ones that break all the time. That's why I love old cars, ultra easy to work on, I own 7 cars, 6 of them pre-2000. 😅
