This is definitely the most under rated album. It just rock's
This one is the cut.....the deepest, nastiest of deep Led Zeppelin cuts that no one talks about and no one cares about but it's about as hard and dirty and loose as it gets for Zep. I love it.
They absolutely kill this song at the 2007 Celebration Day reunion concert.
It's a shame that you didn't hear as much of this played on the air as their earlier music.
Yaay...there it is!Wait until you hear Nobody's Fault But Mine!
This song is Robert's growing sarcastic cynicism with the LA cocaine/drug scene. He said it was a dig at someone he knew and cared about and how they were getting deeper and deeper into drugs (no, not Jimmy, those references come later). It's in the lyrics; "And she said, 'Don't you want it, don't you want cocaine, cocaine, cocaine?'" and later in the song when he sings "On the balance of a crystal, paying through your nose." you can hear a loud snorting sound. This is a very intense album where the cracks of dissatisfaction and disillusionment are really showing through.
The solo in this one is so clean and perfect
i really like this track, LOVE the groovy drum part at
THE most overlooked Zep album. In 1976 this album was overshadowed by the likes of Aerosmith Rocks, Boston, Frampton Comes Alive, to name a few. That said, a powerhouse of top notch talent at their mature prime.
Nobody's Fault But Mine coming up.
Damn, I love this song!! Good reaction!
I knew this album would get to you ..Bonham's drumming stands out for the best on this album ..
Wow, I NEVER realized this song was thatthat good man!!! Dam, excellent song here!! Now one of my favorites from these guys. Thx Biz, yet again your reaction was great man!
This song is got such an awesome groove. Bonzo and Johnny and the man Jimi nailing it. Oooh and what’s his name Lol Robert with the great vocals. Absolutely phenomenal song this is legendary by the Zeppelin machine.
I really didn't care for this album when it came out because it seemed like a totally different sound for them. After I let it settle in it became my absolute favorite, the whole thing is a work of art.
I like something different about it everytime I hear it
Keep going. The album only gets better. Very underrated. That’s because choosing the best Zeppelin albums is like choosing your favorite child-very difficult.
once in a lifetime band. My fav .
This has always been my favorite album of theirs. They're all playing incredibly well, and Robert's lyrics were very intense.
This is my favorite album. And yes they are all great.
