As usual, a great concise tutorial! I especially liked the sound effect of the spray can spraying out the shapes! Really looking forward to the book coming out. I know it's going to be awesome!
Thanks again for a well done, informative video. I dont get to use Inkscape as often as I would like, but your videos give me the confidence to use it when I can and not feel as if I would have to spend months just to learn the basics. 👍😀
just got Ai (Adobe illustrator) but there are almost no tutorials, guess they expect you to go to school or something. Your tutorials keep bringing me back to Inkscape =D =D
@@IronEchoDesign I tell you what, if Inkscape is doing the job awesomely nice and sleek, who cares about industry standards. Is not the Graphic Designers and Printers who made Adobe Illustrator Industry standard based on their wild and global usage? I want to believe Inkscape will in the near future have a look in by world graphics designers and printers, hopefully when CMYK is fully implemented. Again, thank you so much. It's Professors of Inkscape like you and many others here on YT that made me never looked back when I moved to using Inkscape. Such a powerful vector software.
Good Day,I have a project saved that has 20 objects that are all the same. These objects may include Raster engrave, vector engrave and vector cut. I need at times to vector cut the items out first and then raster engrave at a later stage. I do this as to reverse the objects so as to have a clean side after cutting. I use K40 Whisper and would like to know how I can simply manage the files before sending them to the leaser? For example, out of the 20 saved objects I want to engrave say 5 and cut out 10. Giving me 10 items 5 are engraved? I hope this makes sense?
Hey👋 I have to make a folder for my application and I want to make a bottle with a text to look like it is in the bottle... But it just looks like text layed over an image... Can you maybe help me some how? I know a video is too much to ask for but maybe a tipp? I would appreciate it sooo much!!
Thank you Rick. Great thing about your tutorial is that you share the practical use case scenario. The Christmas tree looks so cool.
Thanks!! I like practical use cases because it helps me remember when I’m learning new techniques.
This is genius!
This is absolutely and stunningly beautiful and brilliant. Wooow! Thanks a million times for sharing. God bless
Many many thanks! I appreciate it greatly.
@@IronEchoDesign you're very much welcome.
You sweet angel of RUclips!! I’ve been trying to figure this out for weeks!
Haha- thank you!
Thank you again, and again, and again...
Thank you so much!!
So easy, so powerful! Amazing what free Inkscape does. And also great to have amazing teachers like you with it! Thx!
Thanks! The fact that Inkscape is free is amazing. Many thanks!
Thanks again Master!
Haha. I am but the learner. Someday.
Sensasional!!! Soy nuevo, solo un par de días y buscando tutoriales te encontré.
Genial!!!
Y muchas gracias por cierto

Thank you so much! I had to add the sound once I found the chime effect. I’ll get the word out when the books ready- thanks!
Very nice work. We like simplicity. Looking forward to the new book. Thanks, Rick!
Thank you!! Simplicity is best.
Wow this is much faster and easier to use. Thanks for this video
Thanks! I like this way much better.
I love it! amazing as always Rick ❤
Thank you so much!!
Awesome! I was thinking of doing something like that and, ta-dah!, you put out a video on it! Gonna love the book!
Thanks so much! What a coincidence! I really like doing the object fill designs and I think this new method will translate better on paper.
Hi Rick. Absolutely fantastic stuff!!!!
love from Zambia

Thanks! Happy to hear this. Inkscape can be tricky, but it’s fun to pick up skills and I like sharing these tutorials.
I started learning this program for work, at 50😊....and Rick held my hand all the way. I feel much more confident now. Thank you Rick...u are EPIC 😂
@beeroberts1984 thanks so much!! Just trying to share what I’ve learned. Have fun!
Congratulations on a great work.
Thanks so much!
This is really cool. If there's similar functionality somewhere else (Illustrator, Affinity Designer...), I'm not aware of it!
Thanks! They probably have something similar, but if not- one more on the plus side for Inkscape.
Thank you. Really fun.
Thanks!!
what a nice explanation
Thanks!!
Nice!
Amazing video Rick! I was wondering, could you make a tutorial on how to make a 3d shoe?
Great video! When is the book due for release?
Thanks!! Still working on getting the book published. Hopeful the stars will align and it can be released soon.
"I'm gonna put the description in the link below"😂 this is a sick technique!
Thanks!! Fun to do. 😀

Thanks! Illustrator is the industry standard, but Inkscape can do a lot too. Plus, free is nice. Ha.

Thanks so much, and I agree... will be great when they implement CMYK. Hopefully it will be here soon.
Thank you Rick. Please where did you download the mask image from?
Hello, I wonder if you could do a video tutorial about creating a font on inkscape 1.3 I will be very thankful of you did :))

I have a circular logo for a watermark but when I use it, it puts the white square background behind it. How do I get it so it is just the circle?
Do you have a tutorial on how to make a comic book stylised portrait?

For sure. Happy to help. The Flatten or Fracture functions may help. Can you email me at rick at ironecho dot com?
I have a problem when I try to export PDF. A lot of objects are missing. What can I do to fix it?
lol what's the sound your added when spraying
Haha. I found wind chimes in the RUclips sound library.
How do I buy your book?
It will hopefully 🤞 get through the publishing process soon. Thanks!
Love your videos. can you create anime type characters? In inkscape
The only big complaints that I have is that your videos are too short and are published too infrequently. I want to talk to the manager, right now!
Hahaha. Thanks so much! I love making these and wish I could do more.
❤
Thanks! 😀
Hive five🙋
Thanks!! High five to you!
What about improving the video quality ?
How so? Is it not HD on your viewer? Or the overall production value?
