2:04 Nedahl should've said "bespeak" instead of "belie". No-one says bespeak though so she could have said something like "the level of luxe inside belies what the outside would have you expect". Apart from that - great review!
@Tony Santos: it’s one of the infamous Jatco CVT’s. But as long as it doesn’t crap itself (ala Pathfinder) perfectly fine for this type of car, as per Forester, CRV and a number of variants of the new gen RAV4.
@@rotoehu9266 of course it will dismantle itself...that CVT is found on so many nissan models since the koleos is really just a an XTrail underneath...french electronics with nissan's unreliabilty...yay!
Out of all the reviewers on Carsguide, your reviews are the least detailed and least informative. Instead of just reporting on the claimed official fuel consumption figure and assuming that would be more realistic, why not report on what you actually got driving around after a week? That would be a lot more useful than knowing what your kids' rating on the car was.
FYI, We’ve had ours for just a little bit over a year, it now has 11,000km. Its the Intens model with the 18 inch wheels. Its averages 8.4L/100 combined driving.
I think this review is fouced on house wife's audience not much technical details but instead how comfy and convenient for weekend shopping or taken the kids out to see Thier grandmother!
Seriously ? The boot isn’t as big as a Tiguan ? Tiguan boot is tiny (I have one) the Koleos is so much bigger. Unless you are talking about a Tiguan all space ???
So a higher claimed fuel consumption is just a more "realistic" figure? Maybe if you bothered to provide actual fuel consumption figures we would know. Interesting spin!
Yo, whats the use of testing driving the car if u cant even provide with actual fuel consumption and maybe some more info about other engine options...
Subscribers, Safe and comfortable driving and Happy New Year. Thank you for the informative video~ We always support you. The easiest way to double the smart key reception distance is to install a ferrite core on the front and rear power line to increase the reception distance and reduce battery discharge in winter. I hope a little help.
French cars are the best, even though this one is pretty much a Nissan. But all that said the design, drive etc all just feels better. Peugeot 3008 is the pick of the bunch as far as SUV's at the moment, why anyone would buy a boring old CX-5 over that is beyond me!! Amazing car..this one is not too bad either but a bit more generic.
@@twigda It's not slow at all. Petrol is good, but diesel is best. Performs very nicely and has a sporty feel! 8.9 seconds to 100 is not fast but its all about low down torque and the feel of the drive, and it is very good.
I agree that 3008 looks amazing and interior exceptional! Just can’t get my head around that stupid bloody steering wheel, right in my line of sight to the dash no matter how much I adjusted the thing. What are those designers thinking? Bought this Koleos Zen (late 2018 build) in the end with 44 klm on the clock (so new basically) with panoramic roof for $29890. Bloody amazing price. Happy with it so far, infotainment system is crap though but you get used to it. Hey, for $29k, I no complain!
@@andrewmee8136 The small steering wheel you get used to. I find it amazing and it feels like driving a go kart whilst everyone else drives a bus!! iCockpit is a great innovation, helps to keep your eyes on the road and not looking down at the dash, I really like it. But yeah the Koleos is great too, and for that price you can't complain. Panoramic roofs are a must in any car I buy from now on IMO, they make it feel so much more roomy inside and its great to look up and watch the rain fall or even just the nice blue sky. Love them.
@@bigchief2331 Yeah I must give it another go as I intend to only hold cars for a year or so and turn them over. I did love the look of the 3008 I must admit especially inside. Not sure I can get one for under $30k with a roof though. You see I am self employed and can write the whole car off in one year if under $30k which is a massive help to my tax bill! Got tall 14 & 12 year old girls too so was thinking of the space but I assume the 3008 is pretty roomy in the back? I never got that far when testing one a few months back.
Hmmm no mention of the tall husband for 2 weeks in a row now
Its essentially a Renault Nissan assembled in the Samsung factory in South Korea. It has a bit of everything.

Seriously. That's all you have to say 🙄 you have to much time on your hands...
Shannon Gunstone you're right, I do have *too* much time on my hands
you never mention if the gearbox is auto or cvt...

It's a crappy Nissan cvt
Nedahl looks fantastic as always ❤✌

Exactly. How many people really care about the cup holders in a car lol

Dude, look at the lady’s title. She’s the Family Reviewer! It’s her job to review based on suitability for a family!
I think this review is fouced on house wife's audience not much technical details but instead how comfy and convenient for weekend shopping or taken the kids out to see Thier grandmother!
Well obviously. She does the family reviews of the cars. Idiot.

Hi, nice to meet you 🙃
Better looking than its twin under the skin Nissan X trail

She only does a family rating and small specs on cars.. if you want a more in-depth review go to the next one...

Doesnt anyone look over their shoulders to reverse these days!
My colleague has one. Its nice but not worth more than $45k…
lol, its actually competes with vw, mazda cx5, etc

3008 too slow.
