To add onto 4:26 - aiming straight up has nothing to do with muscle memory. This is not an opinion, but a fact that has been stated by some quite well respected people within both the Valorant community and Aimers community (TenZ, Woohoojin, Viscose, etc.); and there are genuine scientific research papers dedicated to finding out whether or not aiming is a muscle memory (it isn't). Your "perfect sens" doesn't really exist since your perfect sens will vary on what kind of aiming you are doing (e.g. small targets far apart, clicking moving targets, tracking moving targets, etc.) as well as generally vary depending on the day or even time of day. The reason you might feel better on some sensitivities is because different sensitivities capitalize off different muscle groups a different amount (lower sens involves a lot of arm movement with some wrist movement and almost no finger movement, while a giga high sens might do the opposite). So never be afraid to change your sensitivity (as long as it isn't mid-match, doing so will just result in you focusing too much whether or not the sens is right over you focusing on the game), and after finding a sensitivity that feels good in valorant, I recommend you spend a few minutes in range every day for the next few days just adjusting it to get it to match your average performance.
That what I was wondering with amount of space I got on my mouse pad I used .85 sense on 2400 dpi. I'm new though so just got shocked all online videos suggesting 0.2 sense.

I’ve been trying to learn Jett on console. We all have naturally lower sens since this game requires a lot of precision and we don’t exactly have a lot of that using thumbs but I was wondering if I should gradually get to my sens to a point where I can do corner checks while dashing
I play on 400dpi and .8 sens in game. And i just play the game for fun so i dont really do comp, mostly swiftplay, but i have like a 31% headshot rating so 🤷🏼♂️
i say off on that, mainly cause its used for people who have mouses that have more than 4k polling rate, i also have 1k polling rate and when i turn it on, it lowers the feeling of the dpi so its suitable for higher mouse polling rates, but if it feels good to you then i say go for it, im not a expert on it but from the vids i watched, its not best for 1k or 2k polling rates
2:00 - 5ms is big diffrence in e-sports also the mouse used here had not the best sensor, in newer sensors the diffrence in input lag between 800 and 1600 is higher, so i would recommend 1600 dpi or 3200 if you like speed, the choice is yours
i have the issue where im more accurate ofc with a lower sens, but it feels like absolute ass looking around so slowly. like .22 1600 feels great looking around but im not accurate w it at all, and micro adjustments are horrible for me with it. but it feels nice so idk what to do tbh
so idk if someone will reply to this, but there is a issue which i cant really find a solution to online,so i have hyper x pulsefire core and whenever i try to tap with it it kind of holds turning 1 tap into a burst, and i have tried some other mouse too that i had lying around and i get same problem again, idk if i just hold mouse tightly or i should buy a heavy mouse??
I have the same mouse as yours....have you ever felt like you are not able to hit one taps or your aim feels inconsistent only on this mouse but not on other your have tried even if they dont fit your hands or style?
How do i work my sensitivities in valorant. like if i put 0.33 it feels slow to move. A 360 is not possible without me lifting the mouse. can you help me
It sounds like that sens is too slow for you. If you don't have much mouse space and being on a sens where you can aim accurately makes it so you can't do a 360 I would recommend trying raw accel
you don't need to be able to do a 360 with one swipe, you'll rarely ever need to do more than a 90 degree turn and literally never need to do more than a 180. I have a ridiculously low sens (2400dpi, 0.043) and I need quite a few full mousepad swipes to do a 360, but so far this has never gotten me killed ingame.
@@andlmao4950 rawaccel will help short term but your improvement will slow down long term because it limits your ability to micro adjust and also forces you to train muscle groups equally instead of prioritizing muscle groups that are more beneficial to different types of aim / different sensitivities. There is a reason most pro players and pro aimers don't use raw accel. You can try it, it won't do you any harm, and you will absolutely see some improvements almost instantly, but the rate at which you improve will decrease and your skill ceiling will be lowered until you switch off
@@andlmao4950 i think my comment either bugged out or got deleted, basically rawaccel isnt gonna harm you but it will only help short term, there's a reason most pros / pro aimers dont use it and most of the ones that did switched off of it
