- After starting the tuning process, I quickly discovered the factory transmission cooling capability is not sufficient to handle the additional power being generated. After upgrading the radiator with a Howe unit, I also needed to upgrade the the actual cooler. Follow along while I add the cooler and show how to fabricate your own braided hoses complete with AN fittings.

Would love to see updates on the car.
Working on the diff brace and wanted to install that and the trans cooler upgrade before much more abuse … right now managed a 13.3 1/4 at 107 mph with a dragy device with old hard tires and a traction limited run.

Tim, are you going to have problems renewing you registration/ Smog test in California? ( due to the customs tune) My smog check is due in December.

Question - why did you switch to the GM CAI vs the modified stock box
Yes I did actually but no real performance improvement and lots of weird garbling turkey noises come from the CAI
Did you ever take this to the drags. How much hp is it making. thanks
