my skys engine idles somewhat the exact same from what i heard in your clip in 11:46, do you think that might have been some knock or is is it just lifter and slaps , i am now paranoid and wondering if i should get it checked out
Sorry this happened...that's a bummer and I'm sure can be discouraging. You do a great job on your videos and make it happen without a big fancy garage. What did you finally do with the engine?
@@REALETH3REAL I don't think so as the more I've read this usually only happens when you tune the car and raise the rev limit form 6200 to 6800 and there can be valve float above 6500 which is what can cause this.
A turbo is an air compressor. They increase the amount of air into your engine which allows more fuel. This creates more power. His turbo was shot and needed replacement
@Richard Myers it's not a bigger turbo. It's a larger wheel and slight upgrades from the stock k04. It's still a k04. These big wheel upgrades just require a tune. It's only about 50-70 more hp from the factory starting point. With other upgrades they're closer to 100hp more.

@@fortysixandtwo34 "slightly upgrade" the pistons are cast aluminum. The GM Ecotec book recommends forged pistons for 300 hp and up.
