"Audentes fortuna iuvat"
What a man, car passion flowing through his veins.
This is the kind of guy that car guys want to grow up to be.
This is the best video on RUclips
"You keep your money"
"I keep your car"
Classic
but he sold the car anyway, money talks
his car collection is amazing... not the usual mainstream u see at car collectors garages....
the bizzarrini looks like the love child of a miura and a 250 gto...what a beauty
It's a crying shame this isn't a series. I would listen to accounts from similar characters all day long.
This is how I want to become old: graceful, relaxed, and driving fabulous cars.
Id hang out with this guy all day even though I woudnt understand a word
mzondi1970 I'm with you !
i'm with you too
Count me in also.
Im in !!!!!!!
For almost 20 years I owned a Bizzarrini GT Strada, #0324., which is now in Austria. A brilliantly engineered and ridiculously fast car, that was totally impractical as a road car. So low, you could drive it underneath a tractor trailer. The same year of buying her, I had a shot at the very first Ferrari 250 GTO...Bizzarrini's engineering triumph.
Those days are gone. Today, I alternate between a Maserati QP, 2012, and a 2014 Grantourismo Cabriolet....the last of Pininfarina's grand designs. As fast as the Bizzarrini, but more comfortable and practical.
But...seeing the vid of the Bizz brought back memories....
Sounds like your life has been full of nice cars, I like that

I have a 1974 Porsche 911 that I've had for 25+ years; it's been with me through girlfriends, marriages, deaths, betrayals and a myriad of other disasters. It's like a mistress that's always so glad to see you; who greets you at the door with a passionate kiss and your favorite wine.
Fact
What a fantastic reportage with a fantastic life, Sr. Luciano Rupolo! One life to live again, and this .... with some supercars! "You keep your money" "I keep your car" :) Looked at it with great respect!
What a story....
A piece of the italian motorist story .... this man
This is the best car video of all time
This entire video is so romantic. Filled with so much heritage and history... the cars, the garage, the signatures on the cars, the old photographs, and of course, the stories. Amazing.
Absolute gem of a video!!
I felt as though I have known this man all of my life. I could listen to his stories for half the day. The rest of the time would be in the workshop, or driving the cars!
Wonderful passionato!
I remember this car at Sebring. 1965, the year of the great rain was the first time I went. Returned 16 times.
This guy rocks. Small business owner, buys a Ferrari..picks up a Bizzanrini. Does not believe in luck...it is the reward for his passion; that he stumbles upon the oldest registered Porsche.
"I think I've been very lucky", understatement of the century!!
+TheIDGE
Ahh but he also said, "Not to be presumptuous, its the compensation for my passion, not luck." I think he revealed his secret in the last line: successful people make decisions and stick to it without looking back with regret.
Uomo molto sincero , complimenti per la passione .
I love his no nonsense approach to the cars. He doesn't not pick their modifications, and is adamant about being understood as a period enthusiast... not a collector chasing a fad or fascination.
Please make more car videos like this one.. That smile at 7:25.. Priceless
best youtube video ive ever watched
What a lovely old gentleman! What a life he has led! What spirit! What an Icon! If I could meet him one day I would treasure that forever. What impeccable taste and elegance! And the sweet boxer dog popping in and out now and then! I’d like to grow old gracefully like this!
What a collection, what a life - what a guy!
Tremendous work everyone. It was great listening to Mr. Rupolo tell his stories with your great eye for visuals. The combination of his personality and the vehicles are really great. I also was a big fan of the Italian groove track.
This man is a Legend
this is one of my old time favorite car videos. what an awesome character and the Bizzarrini what an awesome beauty. we talk 401ks and crap like that, this guy is seating on at least 6 million dollars (probably more) of cars and loves every minute of it.
Luciano Rupolo is such a delightful man. The high quality production of this video is wonderful.
Spectacular piece. Mr.Lupolo is great! Director Edoardo Vojvodais simply stellar.
Cavolo, è un peccato che pochi di questi gloriosi marchi del passato sfornino ancora supercar, per fortuna ci sono ancora collezionisti appassionati come questo buon signore...
Quella Bizzarrini però è qualcosa di stupendo...
What a beautiful story and what incredible bloke
True gentlment, my respects.
I enjoyed it so much....it's true that classic italian cars are the most beautiful cars ever made...thanks for sharing this documentary.👍👍👍👍
A testament to humanity. I felt like I was sitting across from him in awe gripped by his fascinating story. I could see the events happening in my mind as he was speaking. Amazing and inspiring.
Semplicemente fantastico! Ottimo esempio di filmografia italiana sportiva e di approfondimento.
I like this guy.
Fasinating story.
Watching this in 2021, and wow. This just shows when things are done well, like cars and videos, they are timeless. Well done! I loved it!
Fantastic! His cars are stunning. That blue 250, oh my!!! Thanks so much for sharing, what an incredible life.
+Josh Charlie Thank you Josh!
That's one fortunate man, right there
This is the kind of grandad I hope to be to my kids’ kids several decades from now. Wow. I thoroughly enjoyed all 17mins of this clip. Pure rascal.
this is the coolest video on RUclips
Jesus Christ, this company makes the best looking cars I've ever seen. Like little red toy engines. They make me ooze with pleasure just looking at and listening to...
fantastic......to BE a CAR GUY..to love the visual and visceral experience automobiles offer ..and to have beautiful classic examples in ones own garage.....that is the dream
Another lovely episode of a car collector and his adventures of Bizzarini, Ferrari & specially the Porsche #004 . #enjoyed #respect #keepyourmoneyikeepyourcar
Un Italiano di altri tempi... MERAVIGLIOSO
Very cool video and music. Great job!!
What a great guy - and what a lovely film. Great story.
I come and watch this video at least twice a year. Coolest dude with the coolest cars.
This was a great film! Awesome story behind all the cars and especially the Barn Find Porsche #004! EPIC!
this was awesome. amazing soundtrack as well!
I could have watched a couple more hours of this.
Really enjoyed this, bravo!
This gentleman is a true connoiseur of automobiles. :¬)
Beautiful docu. I really enjoyed watching it.
And finding out the story about that Porsche.
Video meraviglioso! Colori, montaggio, storia, complimenti davvero!
Fascinating story. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you for sharing a wonderful History, and collection
Exellent video quality and content..a pleasure to watch
Amazing collection. Hats off to you!👍
Wonderful video. Thank you!
Fantastic car the ISO A3C/ Bizzarini. Thanks for the video
What a great video!
what a story ! thanks so much for sharing such a wonderful documentary of the first ever Porsche
Excellent video. Keep up the good work.
Great video, a true Italian gentleman. But the music is better suited to a video regarding Detroit muscle cars. Some classic Italian music would have been more suitable.
Coolest of the coolest.
Ottimo. Wonderful. What a shame that Porsche #04 has disappeared into some Swiss vault.....
Excellent documentary😃👍
It doesnt get ...better !
Great production, music ,and Edit.
I hope you know the content speaks for itself.....
love this guy.
A life well lived
Awesome man and his collection.
Bellissimo video, ammirazione per tanta passione.
Great video! It has class...
0:15 Beautiful, just beautiful. The front of the car looks a lot like the old 124 Spider.
Grazie per questa bellissima storia
I love your video. Rare story. I just subscribed 🙏🇺🇸
Awesome video and what an enthusiast. He bought what he liked not what he thought would make him money. Deepest respect.
bravo!!
you don’t need subtitles to realise the passion in his voice, a garage we all dream of, nice that he sees the value in the mini, even if it’s only for keeping helmets off the floor, probably because it a later seventies model.
Amazing !! You keep your money & I’ll keep your car!! Brilliant
Great documentary.
GREAT STORY, AND BEAUTIFUL VEHICLES!
Il personaggio e la storia interessantissimi. E poi complimenti davvero per il montaggio, avete fatto davvero un gran lavoro
Beautiful footage. I worked on the design of the 2006 Bizzarrini 4.1V GTS Ghepardo so its great to see the Iso Grifo Competizione in more detail.
Molto bella! I don't know much about some of his cars, but the Bizzorini is a VERY rare exotic! Too cool that he's a retired mechanic besides a collector! John in Texas
absolutly love it!
Difficile non amare queste meraviglie su quattro ruote. Bellissima collezione, quanta invidia... Video bellissimo!
What a wonderful video and story.
I follow a fair number of Italian art, design, music and automobile channels though I do not speak the language and can only understand it a bit. Yours are by far the best translated subtitles I have seen. Thank you and keep up the good work. Forza Locals!
Bruce Thiel Thank you Bruce for your appreciation and support! We'll be back soon with new stuff
Beautiful!
ho visto questo video anni fa ,e resta ancora uno dei più belli su RUclips ,e poi a 14:08 Cooper !!!!
This is the coolest video I have seen in a very long time. Great cars collection with great stories. And a lucky son of a gun, who owns them, but fantastic guy. Thank you very much for sharing! cheers
Bravo, veramente una vita meravigliosa! Mi piace il cane di nome Cooper.
I hope I'm half as cool as this gentleman when I'm 70 years old. Also, I lost my sh*t towards the end when he's talking about the Porsche #004 and then has to yell at his dog. Good stuff.
I had a laugh too, I have a dog and I called him "Datsun" often when I'm working in the garage (restoring a 240z) he is trying to steal stuff form the work bench, like my gloves or ear muffs to take to the grass and chew on. I often have to yell at him when I'm half way through doing something.
It was wife ,not dog
hahahah "Cooper!!" XD video stupendo, ancora di più per il fatto d'essere anche un restauratore di piccoli gioielli.
Mama mia!!! Beautiful, beautiful cars. And, talk about impressive. It seems every car featured in the video, has a significant importance, that only adds to the value of these breathtaking works of art. I wonder if he drives them all on a regular basis?
