This is so important! My parents were married for 10 years and have been divorced for 20. My dad has since come out as gay, and he and my mom are still close as ever. It’s so healing as a child of divorce to see your parents still respect and genuinely care for each other 🫶🏽
Great example of the Neals being adults and getting along. A few years back I was proud of a cookout we had: me and my boyfriend and his kids, my ex and father of my daughter with his new wife and her kids, my boyfriend’s ex, her new boyfriend and their son. Eyebrows were raised but we all get along well and want the healthiest environment (despite all the brokenness) for all kids involved.
Whoever came up with the idea to create this podcast deserves a raise. Brilliant. In the spirit of GMM, it's not just fun, its socially redemptive and that's damned near non-existant on the interwebs!
I commented this on the short, but Its great hearing a divorce story that didnt go completely wrong. Divorce doesnt mean you cant still be friends in ALL cases. You all are wonderful love the show. Got behind on some full episodes so Im very excited to have a couple to catch up on. Keep it up!

The Bodacious Bo’Neal bit and the Aerosmith concert had me rolling laughing 🤣 Bravo! Also, Charles absolutely killed the sign off on this one! I can tell somebody’s been practicing 😅👍🏻❤️
My grandpa was the bootleg for Lillington. He knew Bone Crusher well and used to take me with him on runs 😉 to his house when I was a kid 😂 He delivered to Mr. Charle's father as well.

Have been a mythical beast since hugh school, I'm 26 now, from NC,...and am also now a myrtle beast, Rhett and Link, don't necessarily make me want to move to CA but Charles make me want to move to the beach, love yall keep up the good eork
I have a friend that grew up in New Orleans and SC, I always thought his accent was New Orleans but now I realize he had the SC accent. The two accents are very close, interesting, love studying the accents of different parts of USA. 💜💜
Good thing Sue doesn’t hate Charles their son looks exactly like him. Lol I love that they get along so what their relationship didn’t work out but they got a sweet goofy little guy name Link out of it.
It's all in how you look at it and how you were raised. Us older people have been through some different things although I'm not as aged as Mr. C. but people were harder on us and expected more out of us so we rebelled hard and just basically had to react hard. Now if we act the way we were brought up, it's a crime. Whether it's smoking at a concert or self defense, we're screwed.
