Charles Is Back In LA (In-Person Episode)
She sounds like tree trunks!!❤
I know Charles is a great sport and I love these guys but this is starting to feel a little mean at his expense.
Had to excuse myself from my cubicle bc I was laughing so hard at Charles reading the URL
as a mythical beast born and currently living in Massachusetts, I get so irrationally excited when my state is shouted out in any video/podcast, etc😂
This spelling bee isn't fair. Most of those words would be difficult for 99% of the population. Don't worry about it, Charles!
What a total Dad laugh! 😂 I love watching your podcast!
I love how patient Link is with his explanations and guides Charles to getting the answer on his own...its wholesome :)
I love how he was unsure if zucchini had 1 or 2 Cs so he put both options but he was so damn sure it was an A in the back that he didn't even think it could be an I
Gimme a Pint O' Nor
Chaz
your dad is the literal sweetest
I'm dead 😂😂😂😂 I love this man 😅😅😅 Benguahh 😅😅😅😅😂😂😂😂
Let's just shorten it to Massachetts HAHA
lol charles really is the best
I love u Charles long live Charles
The great thing about Charles is that despite his not knowing how to spell (like 95% of the world lmao) or do pronunciations, he knows what pretty much everything was. Even Beignets? He knew, New Orleans.
"Https double dot, slash slash" and then "SI equal PRT" will be in my brain forever
Benguah more like Ben gay
I have a suspicion Charles was thinking of ben wa balls when he giggled and said "well, maybe" during the beignet section.
In case you're wondering, no the link did not work. I typed it out and triple checked that I heard it all correctly.
Oh my god when Charles started reading the link. I don't think I've laughed that hard in months.
Me tooooo!! 😂 We need a clip of just that part, so I can show it to everyone!
Picka da gayo 😂😂😂😂😂
I’m CRYING at the Spotify URL 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Massachusses
Y’all are diabolical for not posting the Spotify link for that band 😭😭
Daddy tried! 😂 But, did he miss any letters in that link?! LOL
Link wasn’t the best help on that one… But to be fair I don’t think I could do any better.
Not him reading the URL hahahaha I am dead. RIP Me
That is a hilarious story from grandma 😂
I think this was my favortie episode so far. Sharing it with everyone
hi, gramma.
I had no idea it was spelled like this 😂
Bien sur. It's French after all.
Mr. Charles always gets an A++ in my book.
😂❤
Love the surprise on his own face when he realizes he nailed it without question.
I could watch this all day😅😅
I need this laugh today
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I love Charles. He is so precious.
Ben yayy
I've never thought about it, but in the south we pronounce 'Vienna sausages' - as - 'Vi-eenies'
I love these I get them in my feed all the time. I only just realized that Link is shocked every time his dad learns something. He expects him to not get the hang of it and I get why😂
I just love these clips 🤭
He needs to watch Princess and The Frog
Never ever look near the corner next to the wall of the side of The Mississippi River too closely at night when at the Cafe Du Monde. In fact, stay away from that whole side of the wall and closer to Jackson Square. Whatever you do, don’t shine a light against it. I saw movement once during a trip there. And then made the mistake of shining a cell phone light toward that movement. I spotted a rat (not a nutria or anything of the like…but a RAT) the size of a “regular” (not a “Tea Cup”) Chihuahua (ar least). I’m fairly certain it was eating the head of a mouse. I was scared for mode. And mind you, I had rats in my classroom. Vermin don’t scare me. I think most are cute. But this…THING. I don’t know how to even begin to explain it. It was a beast that would have beheaded Shredder and all his mutant terpian buddies with one whip of its tail. It was a beast that would terrify the wolf in The Nenerending Story. Had the princess seen that rat, she’d have told Atreyu not to bother rebuilding the world with light-or whatever. She’d tell him to let it burn, let them all burn into nothingness. I swear to you that you could see its muscles moving, rippling, under its fur as it kneaded at a little mouse ear. I didn’t scream. I was too terrified to scream. I sat there, paralyzed, body and mind suspended in terror. I said nothing after it half lumbered/half scurried/ half walk in their weird hybrid way…three steps on TWO LEGS. I just finished my Beignet and coffe and promptly obtained another Hurricane before saying a word after we left. Then I sat down on the curb, chugged said Hurricane and cried about the nightmares I knew I’d have (because that is what you do in New Orleans. Drink and later have weird dreams). Just to emphasize how awful that was…I’m from the Southern Appalachians. I’ve been on trails, THE AT where, despite being a huge skeptic on anything religion/supernatural, I know I heard someone call my name and acted like “No I didn’t,” and went on with my life, kept walking. Shook it off. But…That…THING at the Cage Du Monde. I’ll have l nightmares tonight from thinking about it. It’s little hands were so human like and it’s eyes glowed red and then green as it turned it’s head and made direct fucking eye contact…like it knew my name. I can tell you then and there and always …that was no normal damn rat. “That was a rat with entrails that some Voo-doo (No, worse-Hoo-Doo) Queen does some sick fuckery with.” -a direct quote from my proper, genteel Southern godmother, a native of the NOLA area. She was the only other person to have seen it as well. It shook her too. No one else quite believes us as to how…horrifically awful it was-not to this day. And again, may I remind you, I had two class room pet rats (by the names of Orville and Wilbur-guess what state I’m from- who rode around on my shoulder while I tight 7th l Grader . So again, rats don’t scare me. Hell, I taught 13 year olds…not much scares me at all. But the “rat” (or “Flesh Pedestrian”-aka Skin W@lker-parading around as a rat at the Cafe DuMonde) terrified me. Sorry? Any time someone says Beignet or brings that place up, I have flashbacks and feel the need to share my trauma. Then I had another drink (just like I am going to do right now). Then drank some more and probably cried…and maybe flash someone for some beards. All that being said, I did see a Nutria the size of a small Beagle at the New Orleans airport the next trip. It was less terrifying and I thought about petting it. That was how terrifying that damn rat was… I would pet its bigger cousin.
@ did you make this up or is this a reference to something
You guys should play this game again exactly the same way except for link should write down how he thinks Charles is gonna spell it to see how well he knows his dad’s brain!
"Benguah" I SCREAMED 🤣🤣🤣🤣
“Benguah” nearly took me out 😂😂😂
Like, Papa Neal, what're ya doing? 😅
i would give money to watch him say this at cafe du monde.
I love that GMM features Link as the wild one but with his pop, he’s the straight one. So fun to see every side and Charles Sr. is supes charming.
Why do I feel so proud that he got it?!?! 😂
