Being from the UK, getting this new definition of "Shagging" has been enlightening. Previously hearing Charles' email left me a bit confused and red-faced, and in yesterday's GMM Link loudly exclaimed "SHAG ME!" at Rhett, which on googling I figure he was asking Rhett to toss the ball back to him? Because over this side of the pond, all of the above reads COMPLETELY different!
I'm not a big podcast person so I'm ashamed to say I only recently realised you guys did this in video form.. and boy have I been missing out!! This is absolutely wonderful ❤ Love you guys, Charles is not only a national treasure but an international star 🎉🎉
Hi from Trinidad, my name is Natalie Yorke, I'm a singer and I just love this podcast. Thank you for sharing some of your time with us. It means a lot. BTW I love you guys' accent.❤
I tried it just for fun (I'm from southern ontario) and it came up New York, which is probably correct. What most Americans think is a Canadian accent is actually middle or upper Michigan, with pronunciations like 'ruff' for roof and 'aboot' for about. It just spilled over into northern Ontario through the Sioux border with the lumberjacks and miners in the 1800s.
My hubby says I'm "snooty and high falutin'" because I (and my whole family) say "supper". What I should say is, "It's better to say supper than to eat at your pig trough." That's 27 years of marriage for you. lol
@@faegrrrl I was watching a video on this channel from about a year ago and you said “We can't figure out what is wrong with me and my hubs resents me for everything he has to do for me and blames me bc I can't do much…” I hope you are doing better now and that you’re safe. Your husband doesn’t sound like he’s very nice to you… 😢
Charles misunderstood the doodle bug and rolly polly. What Charles is referring to as a doodlebug, is actually the larvae of a six spotted tiger beetle. That is what you fish out of the holes with a stick or pine straw. I know this cause I'm from Alabama and also call them doodlebugs. Im sure if you showed him a picture of what the question was referring to, he'd call it a rolly polly.
You need to watch out with parchment paper - some of it isn't rated for anything over 425 fahrenheit. It will just burn... Dusting the bottom of the pizza crust with flour before putting it on the stone will work just as well for making it not stick.
6:31 the fact that Link owns and possibly has used his green egg is surprising to me unless he is secretly been able to cook all this time and his lack of ability to cook is just a bit on GMM but having watched him have knives taken away from him for years. I don’t think it’s a bit lol
if you're in a couple, each should buy presents for their side of the family. It shouldn't be the woman doing all the shopping. If you're a woman and you're doing this, you need liberation.
Empanadas aren't just Mexican and I'm sure they are even less known as a Mexican dish seems like since you are in Cali and a bunch of Mexicans reside their that you think it's a Mexican dish.

Always funny. Always entertaining.
I love this podcast. I rewatch the episodes all the time.
Loved the accent test 😂 Fun fact: Empanadas are actually a traditional dish in Spain and most Latin American countries 😊
Everyone agree that you should do 2 episodes a week😮😮
At least hour long episodes if nothing else.

Yep, I can confirm as a person from Michigan. This accent still persists and it makes me feel so at home since I live out of state.
This show makes me miss my mom so much. 💔 She grew up in Florence, SC, and the way she expressed herself was so similar to Link's dad.
perfect way to start my morning for a LONG day!🥳
this one was especially good 😂😂
Can confirm the first time i heard charles i was instantly reminded of my family in alabama. 😂
Took the test and it guessed a city 15 miles from me.
Awesome job boys with the podcast drop a like for you.
I’m from Barbados. I just did 2 dialect tests and got New England and NYC. I guess there’s some connection with being former British colonies. 🤷♀️
Australia & NZ here... shagging competition for teenagers sounds criminal

We call the doodle bug a slater in Australia
Can confirm Charles sounds like he's from Alabama. He sounds like he could have grown up a county or two over from my grandma in Birmingham, AL.
I heard Mary and marry the same and he pronounced merry differently the first time he said them
I call the grass between the road a "Devil Strip" guess where I'm from.
