I appreciate that!
Great to see these inexpensive, very capable EOS cameras get some love. Great candid image at 3:58
So glad you enjoy this video. To be honest I found the EOS great shooter.
Love my EOS 5 for the exact same reasons. I can think of worse places to be right now. Stunning scenery.
Thanks Zain, I was surprised how well it performed. The landscape up there is amazing.
I really enjoyed your video and the fotos that you took with the EOS 600, brilliant and looking forwards to more . . . . .
Hope so, now that computer been replaced I can start editting once again. Thanks for your kinds words.
Love my EOS 620, RT, & 1N-RT. Great fun cameras. Great review!
Hi James! Thank you so much. They are so underestimated and work so well!
@@GavinLyonsCreates Hey Gavin! They sure are! I had a 650 that got me back into film photogr but sold it. bought a 620 2 yrs ago and just recently picked up an RT after picking up a 1n-RT. love them so much. They are so underestimated! I also have a Yashica MAT TLR. Another great camera.
Again, great video Gavin! :-)
Thank you! Much appreciated
Ive just got one of these, and im still learning on it, i love ot tho! Great video !!

wow, very cool !
Hi Margie, Glad you enjoyed the video! Currently my daughter is finishing up a roll of 30+ years expired slide film that should fun develop.
great content. may i ask what scanner are you using?
Thank you! Nothing too special a Canon 9000F.
Brilliant video! I enjoyed watching, great photo results, they turned out really well.
I recently picked up an old Canon EOS 500n ( Regel G) with a 28-80mm ultrasonic zoom lens for £20 it's like new.
Looking forward to putting some Ilford HP5 B/W film through it.
I've added your channel, hopefully you'll connect with another retro photographer?
The price of these eos 600 is like buying 3 rolls of Portra 160 in my country. That's crazy cheap for a camera
Gavin Lyons you'll can't convert me... I am a Nikon user!!!!! Hehehe
Ha lol, Glad you enjoyed the video, Isn't ashame I've never owned a Nikon ? Which one should I get?
@@GavinLyonsCreates I reimmersed myself very much into film photography and left behind a bit the digital world! However one year ago I sold my Nikon D300 and updated to one D7100 and that's enough for my needs (I just use digital to shoot macrophotography). So I reckon I am not informed enough to give you advice on Nikon digital cameras.
Just did a video on a macro lens btw. On the Nikon side of things maybe a FE might be a good start
I have a question is it better using black and white film in this camera or does colour work also ? :)
Hi Rosalla, It's a modern film camera so any colour film will work fine. :-)
Being offered one and I'm new to photography so I don't know if I should start with this. There asking 60 for it.
60 euro/dollar is quite a lot unless there's a good lens with it. There a solid enough camera, the battery cost about 6-10 euro but last about a year or two. The body is worth 10-20 euro last time I looked. Hope that helps, Gavin
@@GavinLyonsCreates thanks for the tips. I'll haggle the price and see what happens. Thanks 👍
Whats the best mode to use
AV mode is what I prefer to use on this camera.
Hi, do you know to release the shutter with a manual lens with adapter?
Tricky one to answer, have try the M mode ? (support.usa.canon.com/kb/index?page=content&id=ART101197) Maybe that will do the trick! Let's us know how you get on.
@@GavinLyonsCreates tried all settings but still doesn’t release shutter if it is not a EF Lens
Just bought it today, my 2nd film cam. IG Triumph.buzz
The Canon 600 quite a good camera a lot of folk overlook them. Good luck in your endeavour. Btw just I upload another video using expired film with the Canon. 600 this evening on the channel.
