Nice shots! Gotta flag that EOS 600 series and a few other models of early EOS models have a sticky shutter. If theres a shiny oily substance on the shutter blades then you may only get half the shot coming out. I loved the 600 build but got through 3 copies before just giving up and going with the 5 and 300. The 5 has its own thing with the mode dial having a glass cylinder inside that can shatter if you don't hold the lock button down every time you use it.

Fun fact: A 50mm f/1.2 lens on 35mm provides an equivalent "look" in terms of depth of field to a 100mm f/2.4 lens on 6x7, so you can save the money you would spend on a Pentax 67 and a 105mm 2.4 and just get a 50mm 1.4 lens instead. (Of course, it'll be more grainy, but if it's shallow DOF you're looking for, this is a cheaper way to go)

I picked up a eos 500N from a charity shop never really thought to use it mostly bourt it for the lens but after watching this i have to stick a roll in there and use my 85mm 1.2 makes sense all my pro digital gear is canon why not shoot film on EF mount

50 f1.2 sounds so damn scary too! I’ll stick with my 1.8

Why did you prefer the traditional photography camera over a digital one for this session?

This was their Pro body to inspire 1D as a pro DSLR. 5D was the little brother to it

If aliens came down with a translator-babelfish, they’d find humans are mostly “sick”! I have this camera and it’s unbelievable. The 1v is the last of the line with 19 AF points and at £700+ second hand is overkill. 1n for the win. ❤. Fab video shoot.
