So this workout was a WINNER for me. This was my first Intermediate step since my 20s. I started 6 month doing your workouts and started with basic step. It was great to finally do moves like scissors and lunge around the world. I still have to work on the switch move. But it was great to feel like my old younger self. THANK YOU CHRIS
This is a great class to introduce more advanced steps but also to check your form at the slower pace ❤❤🎉.. also great when pushed for time 😂😂🥰🤗 Thank youuu x
I’m looking forward to trying this in when I get home. One day I’m sure I will be more confident with advanced step, but these slower intermediate-advanced step classes give me a chance to work up to it at a slower, more doable pace. I can’t wait!
I always think of what I want to comment during the cool down then forget when I get here, NOT TODAY! I started today wanting a 30min but after the 1st set I liked it so much I backed it up and did it a second time and the same with the FULL CHOREO. I love when you add the timer for the after party, when you split the workout into sets and when you add the words FULL CHOREO on the screen, it makes it easier to find. When I want to see what I'm in for I pick a routine, fine the full choreo label @ the end watch it and often times think: there is no way I'm gunna get all that! BUT I almost always DO b/c you do such a great job teaching each move/set. I gotta say I've been doing the 135 BPM and it's hard to slow it down. That being said I have NOT been able to get that over the step backwards sprinkler at 135 BPM but TODAY, I GOT IT. It was nice to slow down a bit and work on my form! When I did the full choreo the 2nd time I really focused on my core during the lunge around the world (which I like a LOT) and I focused squeezing my BUTT during the scissor, it does make a difference! Thanks for what your doing!!! I love you, I love this channel, I love your workouts!!!!! I think this one is gunna go in the favorites! 🏋
Fun class!...thank you 🤗 Thanks also for the tip (from another class) about using shelf liner to prevent the step from shifting. I think this is the only class where I haven't had to bend over to reposition my step 😂👍
i love the more advanced choreos, but i don’t always have a full h and pausing one at half time feels bad :-)) these 30 min intermediate workouts are perfect for such days. loved the music, the energy, ty chris❤
Loved this 30 minute cardio step class! I love all your different levels of step, Chris - basic, intermediate and advanced - but this slightly slower pace definitely helps give me the confidence I was lacking for some of these moves during a faster paced workout. Thanks so much Chris!
The slower bpm allowed me to work on adding the second riser. Kicked my butt but I did it. I don’t even sweat like this in the saturday hour long classes. The music was great and the choreo awesome! Thank you!
ALASKA! I was a step instructor for many years. But with two knee replacements I need to modify and believe me my heart says DO IT! I kind of like walking without screaming melon sized knees so I modify, enjoy the sweat and I can dance the rest of the day😊😂
Enjoyed that routine - the slower pace means holding moves a tiny bit longer, so that was a good challenge for me. Thank you for all the different step varieties Chris - love them all!

I made it!! I love the trickier steps in the shorter time frame, I don't have an hour for cardio in the morning, this was perfect! Can't wait to do it again!

I found my sweet spot! I used to do advanced five days a week... fast. Then they stopped offering it at the gyms. I LOVE step, but my 55 year old self can't go that fast anymore. This is PERFECT! I never could get, '"the up and switch" and now I can see there is a slight pause before you cross over. So freaking cool when you finally get a step after all these years!!!! You are the BEST instructor!
Around the world lunge to She Bop was the highlight of my day! This was a really fun step workout. I can't stress enough: do the tutorials if you need to!! All the moves are broken down and so easy to follow. It helps so much. So does the rewind button 😂. Just have fun with it!
I wonder what time it is in Alaska -- pretty early because it is early here on a Friday morning! So glad to be able to do this workout with you on the last day of the work week -- thank goodness! No snow days -- it was a long week! Thanks, Chris -- always fun!

Hi Chris! I just wanted to thank you for another awesome step class! I found you last April and every time I think I can't do it or get intimidated, I "step up" and find something else on your channel... This class was particularly special to me because I am trying to transition from basic/intermediate to intermediate/advanced. So I know the steps when you call them (thanks tutorials) but when I see them on Saturday they are so fast they don't make sense between my brain and feet. Now I know to go back to your wonderful (free) videos and find a Intermediate/Advanced workout with slower BPM. Again thanks for all you do!

My first intermediate advance step I completed. I did have to rewind some of the advanced moves and do them over, but by the end of the video I was able to do the whole routine.. thank you thank you Chris you’ve inspired me to be a better me!
I absolutely love this. The cardio was super fun, but actually harder for me at a slower pace. Schwing!! I love the music and it definitely makes you work harder when singing all the songs! Thanks Chris!
So proud of myself!! First time I nailed an Intermediate to Advanced! Rewound the full choreo a couple of times to get it but when you said, this is when you get it at the last time, I did! Such a good feeling 😂. The slower pace was great in order to achieve the next level as had always done fast basic or intermediate so this was perfect! As an advanced stepper, I enjoy doing intermediate workouts once in a while. I combined this with another 30 minute intermediate workout to get 60 minutes of step 😂 Thank you, Chris!❤
