I had so much fun today being with you 2 live for both classes. I am a library teacher in a High School and Middle School, so normally I cannot participate live, but we had the day off today. I think it's wonderful that you have guests on of all shapes, sizes, abilities, etc. What a brave woman Dawn is for doing the modification and never giving up on learning the moves. It's so motivating to see real people working out and just trying their hardest as that's all you ask of us.
Good luck Rebecca! Thanks for this workout Chris and Dawn. I kept messing up with the curl straddle wanting to keep going to do a curl around the world, but just kept jumping back in. I really like the knee to the side move too. This community is the best!
Dawn did fabulous! I think stepping without a step is hard! I can't seem to make my feet move correctly without a step. Sending strength to Rebecca. I watched my Mom struggle after her stroke and I saw her take her first steps after, with assistance. It brought tears to my eyes. I still have that video and I will never forget her saying "I am walking".
Dawn did great and had such courage to start back up with step live with all of us! Rebecca is a true inspiration! A warrior who just won't quit and who I am going to be thinking of on days when I don't feel like working out. I'm going to work out and not take for granted the fact that I can work out. And if I keep at it, maybe some day I will be as strong as Rebecca.
I enjoy the slower step workouts - it gives me a chance to use my risers. Dawn did a fantastic job!! And such an inspiring story of Rebecca…hopes she continues to get better every day. 💜
Hearing Rebecca’s story made me teary, but inspirational at the same time. Praying for her recovery 🙏🏻❤️ I haven’t done step in months, been protecting my knee so I followed Dawn’s example, just did step moves on a masking tape rectangle. Now onto mobility, thank you!

I loved this class! The slower pace enabled me to add a riser to my usual flat step. Using a riser with a slower pace gives my legs more "definition" and strength. This allows me to place my legs more "purposefully" and have greater control of my form as I step. Really enjoyed the choreography as well.
This was so much fun. Inspirational-Rebecca. Every day moving just in the frontal plane is difficult. That is awesome your challenging you mind and body ❤
This was another great step workout. Way to put yourself out there Dawn and show everyone how to be open to trying anything. And Rebecca "one step at a time", you got this! We are all cheering you on. :)

This was my easy day today 19.01.2024 and I’m going to do a walking workout next as it’s really cold over here at the moment. As Kim said in an earlier post - you got this. One foot in front of the other. Of course you will stumble, but you seem like a determined type, so get up and keep going! 🙏🏼. Fun step. Music was great, just singing along and stepping. Dawn and Chris thank you. Great to hear that Rebecca is moving and recovering. Lesson to us all keep moving and trying cause one you don’t want to be a couch potato and two it’s so much fun to do these exercises.
Love these more basic/intermediate classes where I can increase the playback speed as a nice warm-up for strength day. Awesome music! Fun combos too! Kudos to Dawn for joining you! Lots of courage to do live when you haven't stepped in 10 years. Great attitude!!! You had me crying at the end talking about Rebecca. I was in a near fatal car accident and couldn't walk for 6 months. It probably took another year before I was walking at regular speeds with decent balance and no assistive devices. I am still not 100 percent but work on it daily and it's been over 2 1/2 years. Sending lots of positive energy and healing vibes to Rebecca!
Wow, I needed this today. I woke with a thumping headache and wasn't planning to work out at all, but I decided to do a shorter more basic step workout anyway. Well... there was Dawn, giving it loads and absolutely smashing it. Then to hear about Rebecca as well... so inspiring, and a great lesson in putting on my big girl pants! This step class is just what I needed today, Chris! I've been feeling down about not being able to handle full hour advanced step classes for the last couple of months while recovering from a foot injury and one damn respiratory virus after another. This morning I felt like, what is the point of even doing a step class if I'm not able to work out at the level I did in December?!? But I put this one on and was so happy to see Dawn getting into it and braving something different, and the update on Rebecca and her stroke recovery really put it into perspective for me. Do what you can each day and don't spend time making comparisons, just enjoy moving! This really lifted my mood Thanks again ❤

Great step routine and l loved the music too. I love doing these 30 minute step workouts to get me moving on a Monday morning. And it got my brain working too. I'm always part of the after party, but I try to keep up with the previous weeks' workouts. Dawn was a lot of fun and did great. And Rebecca is very inspiring. Goes to show you how great step is for balance, coordination and the mental benefits!
I just did this as my Sunday morning movement. Awesome music and choreography; added a riser and was working on balance and form; appreciated Dawn's floor version. Everyone should be like Rebecca, she is a rockstar...you go girl..don't let anyone tell you otherwise👏

Thanks for a great quick low impact cardio. I was thankful to be off today to catch morning and afternoon. Love the real people you have. And I ,too, have very bad plantar fasciitis Dawn! It’s awful 😢. I think l I messed up every time on the kick and half way around the world 😂. But I kept going! Love it all Chris. Have a great rest of the day ladies! See you tomorrow!
