New guy here, I was taken in by his impressive '58, what a sweet ride! Nice work and explanations on what and how you were doing on this big project. I would have went with a fleetside just cause '58 was the first year Chevrolet introduced the fleetside bed. excellent truck and great work!
Yeah, i know the lighting sucks in here, i just bought led light bars for the other half of the shop, but they are 7K so i usually run the sodium lights with them. You are talking about the yellow high bay lights in the shop correct?
I have heard of an issue that causes this that might be what the problem is. Some of the GM distributors had a short wire to your pick up and as it advanced it would temporarily disconnect causing the issue. They make a pigtail to fix the problem that fits down in the distributor.
Yeah, I hear ya. That's why I asked him at the end of the video if he was gonna throw those Pontiac manifolds in the bed, 😆... I'd screw it up in a hurry myself.... 👍
I love the view over the hood, brings back memories
That truck is a beautiful machine. From an era when trucks had decent looks.
Forget blockbuster movies. This is really worthwhile viewing, interesting and educational.
Truck turned out awesome. Nice job. Keep up the awesome videos.
Love the shape on those Old vehicles
Great work. Kinda getting used to the concise, not drawn out dialog unlike some other vids. Love your content.
What a sweet Apache! Nice work!

Awesome now just waiting patiently for the next model A episode!
Your editor does a great job 🏅
You really don't half-ass anything, do you? Great looking truck! That bed is awesome, show quality for sure.
Love the work you do. I just recommemd 4 or 5,000° Kelvin LED lights so we can see actuall colors.

Apache truck is the bomb 👍
Love me some PBR 🍺
I could never have that nice bed, it wouldn’t last a day

Best apache ever.
Love this build. I'm just starting to plan my 58 apache build. What pedal assembly did you use? I can't stand the factory brake pedal.
Pretty sure it was a Camaro pedal assembly, but I modified it pretty heavily to allow for the clutch master to work out. 👍
BLACK BETTY
SORRY THIS COMMENT IS SIX MONTHS LATER BUT I CAN TELL YOU THE DISTRIBUTOR (if its electronic) was your problem
for sure. very nice 58 chevy pick up.
Thanks, and yes it did turn out to be the pickup, we tossed another unit in and it was great after that. Thanks for watching!
