Not going to lie, it made me chuckle when you brushed off the whole, the Lich King might be talking to the entire Ebon Blade and giving them orders. Keep up the good videos man!
We're not done with the Lich King's story yet, not by a long shot! I can't wait to see how his relationship with the rest of the death knights -- not to mention the Argent Crusade -- will play out.

With Wow's semi-cartoonish look, it is easy to forget that sometimes, its lore is really, really, REALLY, dark.
There was dwarf character in place of Minerva for alliance DKs. Don't remember who replaced the belf.

This Maw is indeed Damned, just like how Blood DK damned on tanking...
they are very good tanks and fun to play too

maccajoe i honestly dont see how. blood dk have insane healing. i been healing more then actual healer. we also can have insane amounts of health and increase healing and still have shields like bone and blood shields and even a talent that lets us cheat death too. very rare am i ever close to dying in dungeons and even raids haha
Jody Boles Blood DK have big "Heal" because their mitigation comes fully from absorbs and self-heal but that's it. they have no other big mitigation cd.
And matematically their mitigation is the lowest among all tanks. There are detailed explanation about this on the forum.
Tell that to Brew Masters...

Hey Nobbel, you should do a video on which is the strongest artifact, given that the Maw consumed an entire worlds' population and other artifacts have a huge history as well. I think it would be an awesome video but it would probably take some time. Or just a video comparing all the artifacts against one another over specific feats or traits,
Any alliance knights think that a dwarf fits those lines way better then that forsaken chick?
I think I remember it was a dwarf when I did it O.o I am almost 90% sure of that.

And 95% of the Druid OH quests and lines fit everything better than a troll. That's why I hope the next expansion will focus on racial unity after Legion's class unity. I would love to see each race come together, resolve their struggles, and be stronger as nations than they'd ever been before.
nice videos and thanks a lot always, i used to play warcraft 3 when i was a kid and loved it all this time because of its fantastic story, then i learned about world of warcraft, i played the trial version and it was damn good, but my problem is its so damn expensive for me to play, then i saw your vids and it really helped me a lot to know the lores i missed after warcraft 3, knowing so much happens like Cairne died, Arthas died, Vol'jin theirs a son of Grom, thrall became green jesus, and a lot more..I'm really great and i wished that if you could do the lores for each games like warcraft 1, warcraft 2 and warcraft 3, then not only Legion but for vanilla, BC, WotLK, cataclysm, MoP, and WoD too...it so wonderful too if you add the lores of all playable races specially Worgens, i played the worgen race on the trial and its story was so damn good..well thanks again nobbel,,keep up the good work!!!

Maybe you could add the class/spec in the title for artifact videos, like [Unholy DK Artifact Lore]. Not everyone knows all artifacts by name, and while you say it at the beginning of the video that helps little when people wish to rewatch one specific artifact video later when there will be dozens.

Have you seen anything about Light's Wrath? Imo one of the interesting back stories of a weapon. One of it's feats was destroying an entire scourge army but also obliterating their own forces in a blast of holy fire.
This is one of the best weapons for lore. That's what makes the weapon interesting and exciting to wield.

This weapon sounds like something a vampire would use.
I use it on my dwarf DK who is called "The Blood Saint" he uses the axe to channel and grant dark blessings using his own blood

Anyone else do their quests for Maw and Apocalypse wielding Shadowmourne? I did and was surprised that using a legendary from 3 xpacs ago was not slowing me down.

After seeing sth like this, I'd personally demand a Blood DK to always be present during the Tomb raid, and strike the last hit
Hurry and do Strom'kar the warbreaker. When in zul'farrak, you get a buff called "surrounded by trolls" - Strom'kar reacts to the presence of its ancient foes, generating an aura of fear.

I thought it was just my game where DK and undead sound like they're speaking through a fan, but apparently not. I don't recall that ever being the case.
They speak like that since Wrath mate
I know that, but it never sounded like the audio was being filtered through a box fan. Same with the undead. It wasn't until Legion that I noticed this, and maybe it's always been the case. Still sounds weird, like it's a technical bug or something.
most likely a bug, the guy on horde side in hillsbard talking during the invasions was talking like that for me.

I think lore wise the marksmenship hunters went to that world first because not only are the other demons theres that the hunters slew, but also gorelix says " more mortals". Lol guess its not his day.
Hey Nobbel, I have maybe the dumbest Gul'dan theory ever, but I still want your opinion. So, in the files for the WOW ptr there is a demonic Gul'dan in the files. For the final nighthold bossfight. Theory is he has basically done what Illidan has and absorbed too much Demonic energies, so he has turned into a demonic form of himself. Therefore he is now a demon and he has his soul trapped in the twisting nether. I want to know what your thoughts are on this, but also keep in mind this: Sargeras in the audiologs gave Gul'dan this power. Could he revoke it at will and stop Gul'dan from becoming a daemon if that is possible in the first place.
Nobbel, why do the death knight talk of their final death? Since the lich king says that death has no claim on the damned. Is it because that we don't want to keep resurecting the fallen knights?

Soooo essentially this weapon is the most powerful artifact against the Legion as it was designed from the get go to kill and consume Kiljaden?
Also frostmourn doesn't count because if you remember Arthas used it to kill malganis but he still came back, his soul wasn't trapped in frostmourn so yeah... Demons get a pass it seems.
Maw of the Damned cant drain souls either.it just channel the life force to caster,making him stronger in physical strength and give the demons perma death.
Againts demons Maw is stronger but after all I think Frostmourne is more OP.with the souls in frostmourne its on our chose to either use them as army force or use them to make our spells stronger or enhance our physical power.

I think it was Kil'jaeden who ordered the Nathrezim to forge the Lich King's armor and Frostmourne to imprison Ner'zul.

and the ironic thing is the unholy deathknight weapon was also made by the nethrazim, it just seems like they took the lore of frostmourne and split into the other 2 specs, were the maw has a spirit (or in frostmournes case spirits) in it that constantly hungers and apocalypse being made by the nathrazim.
then the twin shards are just frostmourne split in two, or might be a new weapon all together created by the remains of frostmourne, idk...havint did that artifact quest yet lol.

Nah, he was playing a female blood elf. You'll notice that the back-side is big af, as well as the blade being small, and worth for jack-shit.

Jackson Douglas Yes. Kiljaeden has the best sole. A great Sole. I know experts who say it's a one of a kind sole. The Lich King has great plans for the sole. The best plans. you'll be shocked to see the plans he has for it.

Yep, it's faction based, which is kind of odd, DK's are pretty faction neutral, they could have used the same npc either way.
tbh i would kinda like it as if there was a random chance to get either the lady or male

At this point, I'm convinced that the rest of the universe beyond Azeroth are weak as kittens, and should not be associated with.
