A Warcraft 2 Tides of Darkness remake created by Lord Perenolde II that includes the WC2 interface, tilesets, unit models, music, and spells. The oil system HAS been recreated and the intro briefings now are accompanied by cinematics. I am playing the 'Enhanced Mode', which changes the player's subfaction each act of the campaign. Each subfaction has their own perks and distinct traits. Some maps may be changed with different starting conditions.

Apparently Great Hall and Orc Farm models have this strange "glitch" where if you click on garden or open spaces you won't be able to select the structure. Other orc buildings are "whole" so this issue shouldn't be too much frequent.
One of the aspects I've worked on after your Human campaign playthrough, Jay, was to minimize as much as possible the details about Subfaction's specifics so that the text wouldn't appear as cropped off.
Generally, Human and Orc campaigns show some slightly different subfaction mechanics between each other, and that's because they've been developed separately and the many new ideas implemented in the Orc Campaign(designed after the Human Campaign) came up only during its progress.
Lots of things have been added/modified in the update as well!
Been waiting for this all the way since I went for holidays 10 days ago, between Italy and Netherlands. Now that I'm back I'm happy to see it finally starting.
As last time, I checked how both updated campaigns work in 1.29.2/1.31, and again, results are the same, they work fine in both but lumber mill breaks your harvest(zero issues on 1.26). One oddity I found, when you click a peon that is building something, there's a blank clickable between "repair" and "harvest" buttons that acts exactly like normal "build basic structures". Btw, major kudos for using classic pigfarm response sound.
@@ivanivanovic5586 The hidden tile is the common building tab, which is forcibly accessed when you click one of the 2 custom building categories.
Can't wait to see the Enhanced versions of The Dead Rise as Quel'Thalas Falls (best named mission ever imo) and The Tomb of Sargeras, the bane of many.

Yay, war2 pigfarm sound! Say, thanks for the reminder, gotta do my arkain act missions prediction. Already told mapmaker about my finding (regarding version compatibility(newer work but break lumber harvest if mill is built, 1.26 works perfect), and 1 oddity). Oddity in question, select a peon building something, you see a blank clickable that works exactly the same as "build basic structures", it's between "repair" and "harvest".

from what i see in wow lore, before worgen, it seems that gilneas is a hunter expert faction, so i think hunters and traps will be involved here
Gilneans here seem to use steam-powered guns (if unit entry is to be believed).

9:39 as you said that, I checked what version is my version of the Frozen Throne, and on my end, it says "1.26.0.6401" (what a weird number) . Anything I make in the World Editor works fine, but I have not tested any Custom Campaign yet

Edit: Just checked the thread and it's still not out, however! It's almost nearing completion!
I remember trying to play the WC2 Human remake on 1.31, the first two missions, and didn't notice obvious issues, except that upon reloading a save, important triggers could simply not work, making you unable to complete the mission. I had the same issue with the Rise of the Lich King remake on the same version.

Is *MUCH* prefer the original art style and assets from War2. This just makes it look like War3 as opposed to modernizing it. To each their own though.
