Nope, the Lich King only tested the champions' powers to see how great of an asset they could become to them, that's literally the only reason he doesn't instakill everyone at the beginning of the fight. I know I've been away for a while, I had some things to do. I am pleased that Lord-Emperor Garithos didn't succumbed to Domination Helm's visions that were temptation cast by greedy Activision-Blizzard in order to nudge him into becoming shade of former self, who is nothing, but a mascot and cash cow of another WoW expansion pack. I think (ignoring Shadowlands lore) destroying the Helm of Domination is a double-edged decision. While it's true that all the scourge being loose on the world is very bad, on the other hand, without control the undead are not organized and acting on instinct, thus easier to trap or outmaneuver, especially since in this vers. Kel'thuzad too is dead. So it can be a good or bad move, depending on how what actions are made afterwards.
