Ah, pure idiocy of Garithos' leadership combined with his deadly effectiveness. Amusing. I just wish we got more "pure human" units in the next maps. Like battering rams (instead of tanks), knights on griffins, gunships, more casters, some hounds maybe.

I love how AI voice lines have become useful like this, making us able to experience old games with modified voice actors - much better then trying to understand unexperienced VAs with monotone voices and bad equipment, breaks the immersion

It does help that, while a fan of the Alliance as a multiracial faction, i will always love some attention put into the human kingdoms
Specially Lordaeron
The Light's know how Blizzard basically forgot about the survivors and now treats the Forsaken as the only important Lordaeronians
Technically most of the Forsaken are Lordaeronians, except kinda dead.
The problem arises in that any living surviving citizen of Lordaeron who didn’t join the Scarlet Crusade is a member of the Alliance now. As the Forsaken have laid claim to it and joined the Horde (and a host of other societal reasons like fear of the forsaken as undead) those living citizens cannot return to their home. There are rightful residents on both side of the faction line. And what is the legality of ownership when you are undead?

Myself, despite being an Alliance and Scarlet Crusade fan, stand for the notion that the lands of Lordaeron belong both to the living and the undead
Efforts have already been made as you can see in the Western Plaguelands, spearheaded by the Argent Dawn, to restore portions of it to make them suitable for human life
And even in portions of the Easter ones, like the former Scarlet Enclave and Lights Hope Chapel, its show that restoration is possible
So you have a finite population of survivors yearning to return home
And a finite population of undeads that already hold a good chunk of it but are unable to expand due to still strong Scourge/Feral undead presence and lack of means to revive more undead barring basic Necromancy
The answer writtes itself, even more now that most obstacles to such an endeavour have been removed, namely, Sylvanas (im sorry but even from the times of classic she was all big in the whole cultural erasure and death to the living thing, just less bombastic)
So with propper organization and understanding, those survivors from the Scourging can resettle and even help yo drive out what little pockets of Scourge resistance are left, like Stratholme
As for the legal issues?
Well thats hard to say, cause i find the notion of supplanting our legal system wich is way too well adjusted to the ways in wich our world work, into one of fantasy and magic, a bit naive
There would be waay too many issues and loopholes to deal with
So i remain that both parties can lay claim to the land, both have their reasons and one doesnt need to step on the other to reach a mutually benefical understanding, wich can at least be helped by the fact of shared family bonds or nationality

A bit rough is an understatement. Nobody in Warcraft says fuck or bullshit. This dialog is a clunky, awkward mess.
@@masterexploder9668The issue is that since much of Lordaeron is under Horde control, it falls under their laws, and since the Forsaken are citizens in their eyes, they have all the rights of one, which includes property ownership. If the Alliance were to ever actually retake Lordaeron, that's a different story. If Alliance Death Knights are anything to go off of, I doubt the Forsaken would be allowed to stay. It really depends on the ruler though. Anduin has shown willingness to cooperate during his brief run as King, but someone like Varian was less tolerant for much of his rule.

Deeper than that we can focus on the chat between Garithos and that Dreadlord, wich obviously was hella ankward and simple, Dreadlords being totally on their own and out for revenge is not unheard of, Mal'ganis disguised itself as an Scarlet Crusade Admiral just for the sake of getting a shot at Arthas, purely out of personal spite
But the wording is not fitting at all for the characters in some cases
Still, its a mod/custom campaing, done in good fun and with an already crazy alternate story to work with, theres no reason to be that rough on it
Garithos' AI sound is so high pitched there's a comedic charm to it.

In before "Garithos did nothing wrong". They gave him a rather tragic backstory, abandoned on all sides when the Scourge hit, and a horrible time with the elves before. King Anasterian was quite an isolationist bugger.
